My oldest daughter has been enrolled in Acro, Ballet and Jazz and excelled tremendously in her skills during that time. She attended a summer dance program with a friend and excelled beyond the expectations of the teacher although it was only a week and I know it was due to her time spent at Stage Door. Chasta and Willis are very invested in developing a quality and nurturing environment for all the students and it showed on all levels of my daughters' participation in the studio. We also participated in the Christmas parade and the end of year recital and it was extremely organized even though there were hundreds of participants. Patient, strong, fun are all words I'd use to describe Melanie. We'll never be competitive ballroom dancers but that wasn't our goal. The goal was to get into better shape and have fun. Mission in process of being accomplished. So, if you're looking for a GREAT group of people to join with to have a wonderful time while you're learning to dance, I couldn't recommend A Step to Gold and Melanie more highly.
