Over the years I have had many occasions to use the services of Chiropractors (usually in an emergency situation) and have been pleased by the profession. So, when everybody in the sample pool is VERY GOOD, how does any one practitioner stand out as more than that? I go to a Chiropractor tell him/her my issues (lifted something I shouldn't have, sprained my back, can't stand up straight, etc), get looked over from every angle to discern my misalingments and get adjusted (the "snap, crackle and pop" we all have come to love). Dr, Dana does all that, but before the actual adjustment she spends extra time probing with her hands the areas of the neck, upper and lower back to find the areas of tenderness (that I didn't know I had until she probed), massages or applies iltrasound to those areas to relax the tissues and make them more receptive to the adjustment.
