would NOT recommend! He installed both of my implants. The first I had to go back in because it was loose, the second was too big for the space he put it into and I had to see another dentist to get help. He had placed a tooth that was too big onto the abutment causing severe pain by causing all my bottom teeth to shift like an orthodontic adjustment done too fast. In addition to that I had asked him prior to the implant if it was safe to have an implant at all due to having osteoporosis. he told me it was safe. After the procedure he told me we shouldn't have done the implant because my jawbone was too porous. I reminded him that he told me it was safe after I had told him I had osteoporosis and he said "oh" and looked at the floor. Also, when the second implant was done he left his assistant alone in the room to install the abutment part of the implant and was using an improper wrench causing the tool to slip repeatedly over the head of the metal parts. When he entered the room he told her the wrench she was using was too big. After looking up TX state laws I learned that dental assistants are not permitted to install parts of implants unattended by the dentist. read more

After relocating from Baton Rouge the first thing I did was seek out new docs...ie. dentist, pcp, pediatrician. Dr. Hoang is within walking distance of my home so this was a no brainer. The first visit was just for the kiddos. Btw they hate the dentist! To my surprise they are ok with going now. Well at least to get their cleanings. The staff is awesome. Their scheduling is flexible. I made time to go myself and I will be a dedicated client. No long wait times. The waiting area is very nice and comfortable. Staff were very warm, friendly and efficient. Much appreciation to Dr. Hoang on able to see me the same week requested as I had a painful tooth - a result of preparation for the crown with another dentist. Turns out I may not need the root canal which was such a great news from Dr. Hoang. My daughter now also has her braces with Dr. Hoang, much appreciation on their patience and thoughtfulness in getting her prepared through the first week of a rather stressful time... I would recommend Dr. Hoang as a primary care dentist as he is able to do many tasks rather than have to be referred to different dentists- root canals, braces and etc... This office is very welcoming, as for my self not going to the dentist for the first time in 18 years I was really worried. But the hygienist Katie was very courteous and gentle which made me very comfortable. Once she assessed my Teeth and I have to pat myself on the back no cavities or severe conditions, However there was a substantial build up of plaque which I knew and was embarrassed about, she went right to work doing a deep cleaning. About 15 years ago I spent about 20K over several years trying to save my teeth. I have unusually weak / thin enamel, so it's a real problem. This dentist ignored my requests to fix some of the simple cavities first, and started doing root canals and crowns. Well the crowns came off, the root canals failed, and by the time I figured out that I needed a different dentist, I had a disaster on my hands. Last time I was there about 10 years ago, he actually made fun of me in front of his staff. I would NEVER recommend this dentist to ANYONE. He cost me a fortune and a mouthful of pain and suffering I'm still trying to repair. I won't even tell you about my daughter's experience there. read more

I do not trust Dr. Hoang or his associate, Dr. Nguyen, or his dental hygienist. I went to him for years and never felt easy about it. I only stuck with him as a minor because I had to. My husband had fillings put into his teeth 2 yrs ago and they already had to be replaced. My fillings were placed in there a few years back and I had to have them replaced within 7 months. My mother got a gum infection from his work. With 3 siblings and I, he tried to convince my mother to get our teeth pulled when it was not necessary. With the case of my youngest brother, Dr. Hoang advised my brother get a tooth pulled. 3 weeks later, that tooth fell out on its own. My mother also caught him independently performing orthodontics prior to him receiving his license. read more

I absolutely loved Dr. Hoang, Dr. Nguyen and Associates!! I had an accessed tooth and had not been to a dentist in forever. I called around everywhere and no one would see a non established patient for emergencies until I found Dr. Hoang! They have AMAZING staff!! From the initial phone call (btw they were able to see me in within 30 mins) to when I walked in, up until the actual extraction. Abby and Dr. Nguyen were saints! DO NOT go to Dr. Hoang My boys and I have been patients of Dr. Hoang for 3+ years. He has bonded and filled cavities for us in the past. My son had a small chip in his front tooth which had been bonded by Dr. Hoang previously. It needed to be rebounded again. Upon arrival, the staff immediately tried to have my son see Dr. Nguyen. We said we felt more comfortable with Dr. Hoang since he had done it in the past and that is who we had the appointment with. Dr. Hoang came in, glanced at my son's tooth without even examining him and said he needs veneers. I said no to veneers because it was a tiny chip and his reply was,"it will take too much time to bond and I have another patient." With that... my son left upset because his tooth wasn't repaired and he missed a day of work for this appointment. The office manager tried to explain what happened but she was reading from my other son's chart. She also said her staff should not have quoted the bonding cost over the phone. The whole staff seemed incompetent. Dr. Hoang was unprofessional from start to finish by trying to sell veneers for a minor chip. I thought Dr. Hoang was a "Cosmetic Dentist" however, that is clearly not the case. read more

I never write reviews but I just have to on this place. My husband left work early yesterday with some pretty intense pain in his gums and teeth. Vicodin didn't even soothe it. I called this place as an i established patient and they got us an appointment 8am this morning. Amazing. He was up all night and it was pretty evident there was an infection. I knew he was going to need some pretty serious help. Turns out his wisdom teeth were causing the issues and had gotten infected on his lower left side from trying to push through but there being no room. They immediately got him in for surgery to get his wisdom teeth out. I was able to pick him up about an hour later. They were so accommodating and reasonably priced for such a short notice appointment. Dr. Nguyen was so sweet and she really seemed to care about his wellbeing. My husband HATES the dentist but had nothing but good things to say about this office. We will definitely be back and really appreciate the help they've given us. read more

My family has been going to Dr. Hoang for over 10 years and all of us are extremely satisfied with his work and the office staff. My first experience occurred on a Saturday. I was in severe pain and looking for a dentist on the weekend. When I called the office, Dr. Hoang answered. He knew I was in pain and offered to see me right away that day. He took care of my problem and I was sold on using him for our family dentist. His office began doing our regular cleaning, worked with my children in regard to braces, provided a great whitening program to all of my family and keeps us all on schedule for all our dental follow-ups. Because I always bragged on his work, the rest of my extended family began using his office. Also, over half of my friends in our community go to his office for their dental needs. Everyone compliments his office and the services he provides. As for myself, Dr. Hoang is very concerned in his work and always treated me with complete care in my well being.
