On Monday, I spent 4.5 hours in the chair getting quite a few things done that were long overdue. Thanks to Dr. Liu and her assistant Sierra, I have to say that my session was the one of the most relaxed and pleasant experiences I've ever had in the dentist chair, or even at a doctor's office. The time flew by thanks to the amazing vibes and organic conversation. Let me start off by saying this is the best dentist office I've ever been to. They make you feel comfortable and always are monitoring your level of pain. Going to the dentist is usually a painful experience for me but Dr. Liu and Dr. Reary are amazing! I have had several procedures here the past few weeks and I can honestly say I have had no pain. Very expensive! I took my business else where because I've had many root canals with my same dental insurance in the past 12 months and knew what to expect to pay! Nope, not here... they charged roughly $400 extra compared to other local dentist & it blew my mind! And then when I didn't want to schedule it Blanca then seemed to become very rude and was just ready to get me out the door. Horrible experience and a huge waste of time. They don't care about your oral health and are only after your money and scamming your dental insurance for most money possible. read more

Absolutely perfect experience at this dentist's office. I came in for a cleaning and a checkup after switching dentists and I'm so glad I found TexSmiles. My dentist and the dental assistant were so kind and gentle. I'm very fearful of the dentist because of my gums bleeding from the scraper. Not once did my gums bleed or did I feel any pain. They walked me through every single procedure and came up with an affordable and comprehensive treatment plan. This place is amazing and this is me saying this as a child !!! My dentist (Dr.Lou),is the best . She extracted many of teeth and no pain at all. We changed dentists after COVID and I took my entire family of five to TexSmiles and for every family member and occasion they tried to find opportunities to charge everything they could. On every visit I had to challenge every additional service they were recommending and some were not explained until challenged that they were options. I'm not used to having to challenge everything at a dentist appointment if it is really needed or not. Need to concentrate more on what the customer needs then to try to charge as much money as you can off of each visit. Finding another dentist, should have looked at these reviews prior to setting up a first appointment. Be careful. read more

I came to this dentist after moving to back to the area and my childhood dentist didn't take my insurance at first. My first visit was amazing. I love the fact that they have TV's so you can watch while getting your teeth cleaned and was very impressed. My second visit, I came in; was told I had 3 cavities and that I should have known because of my first cavity. PLOT TWIST! I have never had a cavity in my life! The female dentist "read on my chart" that I had a previous cavity before, she must have read the wrong chart then! They wanted to schedule me to get my fillings as fast as they could, however, I told them I would hold off. I went to my childhood dentist today (been going to him for 20+years), we were finishing up my appointment and I asked if I had any cavities and he told me no, that my teeth were fine! This may have been a mistake on their end, however, to tell me the incorrect history of my teeth then tell me I have to get additional work done that was not needed is beyond me. Anyone who goes here, I would just say to keep your wall up and get a second opinion if your gut tells you too. read more

Full disclosure, I am a retired dental practice manager from a high-end, customer driven practice just outside of downtown Houston. To put is simply, I have high standards and this practice delivers. My initial visit was in May 2019 where I was given a clean bill of oral health. The second was in June 2019 after I chipped a lower front tooth. Both visit I was treated with respect, kindness and professionalism. The cleaning (prophy) and subsequent filling to repair the chipped tooth were pain-free and impeccable. Options for repair chipped tooth, along with any out of pockets expenses were reviewed with me before the procedure began. The repair results were beautiful. So beautiful the adjacent teeth look bad in comparison. Makes me wonder if I should chip the other lower teeth so Dr. Liu can perform her artistry on those (just kidding Dr. Liu). Just had my teeth cleaned and some cavities filled! Dr Liu and Dr Reary were incredible. Felt no pain and watched my favorite show on the ceiling TV to keep myself occupied! They were honest and up front with the health of my teeth and flexible in creating a plan for treatment that suits my needs and comfort levels! A wonderful addition to the city.
