We pulled up to a simple, straightforward setup with a drive-thru that kept things moving efficiently, the kind of place where most customers stop by for a drink on the way to work or while running errands. The interior was modest and functional, designed more for quick service than lingering, and the steady flow of cars through the line reflected its popularity as a convenient morning stop. The iced coffee is what Marylou's is best known for, with dozens of flavored options ranging from classic vanilla and hazelnut to sweeter choices like Gone Bananas, Butterscotch, and Turtle. We ordered a few drinks and found them leaning on the sweeter side, making them a good choice if you enjoy flavored coffee rather than a more traditional roast-forward cup. The flavors were fun and easy to drink, and the prices were reasonable, but the quality didn't stand out compared to other local coffee shops. The menu also includes espresso drinks, refreshers, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries if you are looking for something to pair with your coffee. The sandwiches were decent and made for a quick bite, but the coffee itself was the main focus. Service was generally friendly, and the drive-thru made it convenient when we were in a hurry. The staff moved through orders with efficiency, and the drinks came out without much delay. Since locations can get busy during the morning rush, wait times and drink consistency may vary, especially at newer stores, but our visit was smooth and the team handled the flow well. The atmosphere was simple and geared toward convenience rather than a café experience, making it a practical stop rather than a place to linger. Overall, Marylou's Coffee is a solid option for flavored iced coffee and a quick caffeine stop. The large selection of flavors and budget-friendly prices make it easy to see why it has such a dedicated following, even if the coffee itself is not memorable enough to go out of our way to visit. It works best when we are in the area and want something quick, sweet, and affordable without expecting a specialty coffee experience.

Prices are super high, and it's tough to find a parking space. I'm sorry we are not all handicapped! There are good choices out here, Dunkin' Donuts blows them away, as does Saxonville Mills, even Makari's market is easier and cheaper.

Even though the restaurant was busy, our wait was very short, and the staff did a great job accommodating us as quickly as possible. The service and attention to detail were outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent. The grilled cheese with ham and tomato was absolutely delicious, the Eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared, and the fresh coffee and cortado were the perfect way to start the morning. If you're coming with family, the French toast and pancakes are huge and definitely big enough to share. One thing we really appreciate is the atmosphere. Even with a full dining room, it's comfortable enough to have a conversation without having to yell across the table. Great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back year after year. Frescafe is easily one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in the Framingham area, and we highly recommend it.

Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 2.5/5 I had the Acai bowl with condensed milk, granola, and strawberry. I heard this place was noted for its amazing Acai and I liked the texture better than some other Acai I've had for its creaminess and smoothness, but I think it was due to having far more banana in the Acai mix. I am not a huge fan of banana because I often find the flavor overpowering like I did in this one. The condensed milk I thought would be a drizzle but as you can see from the side photo it was almost half the volume, and it was far too much for me. The fruit was fresh though and I liked how it was chopped, easier to eat on top. Didn't try a lot of the baked items, but the cheese ball was good and a nice little bit of saltiness. Service I had was very nice though, she was very patient and understanding. Ambiance was not my favorite, a little to much chaos with the bar especially it being so close to the bakery display where you order your food (people bumping into each other), but nothing terrible. Cleanliness was acceptable, pretty clean for how many people occupy the space and how tight the space is, but just so many people coming and going that it's hard. If you like banana a lot, this Acai is for you, and I think it's objectively a better Acai than some other places but it wasn't for me.
