Service - OK. Ambiance - a bit greasy spoon. Food - a big disappointment across the board. I wanted to like this place. Slaw- small serving , maybe a bit of horseradish in it? Biscuit : very pretty, but hard and heavy. Mashed and chicken gravy - not much flavor, especially the weak and unseasoned gravy. Fried chicken - again , very little flavor , greasy. You would be much happier with a chicken dinner at any Pizza Ranch read more

Food was delicious! Love the outdoor seating- perfect place to have a meal on a fall day. The inside of the restaurant was really cute too! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Would recommend to anyone in Beaver Dam! read more

This place is great. Pork belly appetizer is must. Had ribs / chicken combo and it was finger licking good. Wife had a mushroom/ Swiss smash burger, and I didn't even get a bite - so draw your own conclusion on how good it was read more

The food was awesome. Belly Bites = to die for, Fried Brussels = totally delicious, BBQ Brisket Dip = perfect yummy comfort food. The guys working on Wednesday night (8/6/25) were FANTASTIC. They were genuinely happy to see and serve us. And they rushed to help my gimpy (due to surgery) hubby with a smile, offer of an arm to help him in and out the door, and happy chit-chat. We'll be back when we are visiting Beaver Dam! read more

That was some finger licking good grub you just threw at me!!! I love the concept of farm to table, & supporting local community. We got wings & some mac & cheese... my little brother didn't like the pin feathers on the chicken & as an amateur cook, I'd go an extra min or two to let the fat really render down...local birds are some chubby monsters & have a little girth to them, let them tenderize a bit longer in that grease; these guys are top notch. Love em, will be back!!! read more

Thank you for all the delicious food for our Dad's funeral. You were great to work with!

So we where trying to avoid going to this place because my husband isn't a big chicken person and because we aren't from the area we assumed given the name of the restaurant it would be pretty much strictly chicken when we walked through the door he wanted to walk right out. HOWEVER it's NOT they do have hamburgers also My husband got the Ruben and I was surprised he said it was one of the best he's ever had and that's saying a lot considering he gets one almost everywhere we go. I got the BBQ Bacon Burger it was pretty good but didn't have much bbq sauce on it. We both got fries they were soggy definitely would not get them again however the tater tots were pretty good. I was not a fan of the way we were greeted it started friendly then went straight to place your order with the QR code at the table it just seemed like they wanted as little interaction as possible but yet everyone who walked in after placed the order at the register. The layout was pretty nice they need a sign when going to the bathroom to watch your step cause me and my husband both almost busted our buts that step is practically invisible. I gave 3 stars because it's very up and down I would definitely go back again for the food because it wasn't bad with the exception of the fries. read more

My husband got the half chicken and it was cooked perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone! I got the chicken pieces with 'mild' buffalo sauce. WAY TOO spicy- I only had a couple of them. The mashed potatoes were also seriously spicy with LOTS of pepper. The gravy that went with the potatoes was a pepper gravy. I was hoping that the gravy would tame those spicy spuds but again, way too much pepper. We also had the red baby potatoes. They were mild in comparison but had another peppery spice on them. I just couldn't eat it. I recommend that you give it a try with the knowledge that they are heavy handed with seasonings and order accordingly. Great folks, new place and fun location! read more

Fast food at fine dining prices. The food was good at best. More like gas station food. Chicken was good fry's were soggy. Cheese curds tasted like tofu total waste of $75.00 you win some and you loose some definitely lost on this one don't waste your time or money read more

I had the spicy chicken sandwich. It was very very good! By far the best chicken sandwich in this area. The spicy sauce is not horridly spicy but it has fantastic flavor. Cooked to perfection. The work staff is very friendly and customer focused and that makes it amazing! I definitely recommend this quaint place. Loved everything about it! read more

My family and I decided to try a local restaurant and thought the name was cute and catchy. We ordered at the counter, the employee was unfriendly and agitated. The ambience was quiet and empty; likely due to the lack of service and unappetizing food. We ordered a variety of meals from burgers that came with literally no toppings at all (no lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion), shrimp scampi, macaroni, fish etc. Although we spent nearly $200 dollars, the food was barely edible. The staff were so unfriendly and unprofessional that I am angered everytime I think I left a 20% tip. The picnic tables are hard and secured to the floor so closely that it is impossible to maneuver around them. If you are looking a reason to take a handful of tums, spend a lot for barely edible food, in an environment that openly disrespects customers...go to this Dam Chicken. read more

This place is amazing! Chicken sandwich with coleslaw topping...want to go every day. Fresh cut fries topped it off. Thanks!

They don't have like fried chicken, wings or legs but they'll deep fried chicken breast and cut it up into different dishes. I mean that is not even the most important part of the damn chicken will be the fried chicken, so if not, I can buy a chicken wing order than you know what are we doing? The service was OK but if you don't speak the language, then they don't understand what you talking about you ask for bone in chicken wings or anything to give y'all example of what a KFC would be if you got a chicken restaurant you know you're not KFC but you will have those damn things on the menu that damn chicken cooked aspect on the menu. So I gave her one review have ate there five times it was to go order but you just can't get used to it. I don't know but it just doesn't have no soul or rhythm. read more

Tried out Dam Chicken tonight for supper, BD's newest spot. Online ordering with curbside delivery worked pretty sweet. Pretty minimal menu right now but my husband, son, and I all liked our meals. Mine (pictured) was boneless Nashville bites medium heat, mashed taters & gravy, and coleslaw; chicken had just a nice bit of heat. My husband's chicken was the Dam Hot and he said it was about the perfect amount of heat and he can handle heat better than I can. Each meal was 10 bucks with a respectable amount of food. They offer individual meals, family meals, and a la cart. I can't wait to try it again especially once they start to expand their menu. I'm hoping they add some tasty Southern desserts. Check it out! read more

Dam Chicken - Nashville bites with medium heat, mashed potatoes & gravy, coleslaw. They say their containers are dishwasher and microwave safe also. - Chicken Shop Near Me - Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

Food was disappointing. Ordered wings and chicken sandwich. Wings were like 6 wings and a few random boneless bites? Not a pound of wings like they say. Chicken sandwich was okay but not above something you'd get at a fast food place. Fries were cold and bad. There were also some random sweet potato fries mixed in. Can't say we'll be back. read more

Great chicken and sides; A bit pricy but worth it. I enjoyed the cajun rub and Nashville hot flavors. My daughter loves the mild buffalo sauce and requests Dam Chicken whenever we're in BD. read more

We were looking for a place for lunch on our way 'up north' and Beaver Dam was where we decided to stop. It's casual, modern dining with plenty of flat screens for sports. Upbeat music and friendly staff. We placed our order online so it was ready when we got there. Food was hot and delicious. My husband loves bone in chicken and he was impressed. It was moist and flavorful. I ate the chicken bites and these were lightly battered and tasty. Mac and cheese and tater Jeffers--comfort food at its best. Great sauces! Our favorite was actually the thick cut seasoned fries. It was all top notch. This appears to be a new restaurant--and even though we live over 30 minutes away--we'll be back! read more

Stopped here trying to replicate that Nashville chicken flavor. Got boneless and traditional wings as well as mac and cheese. Everything was really good I would like a little spicier seasoning compared to what the hottest flavor offered is. Of course its not Nashville but then again unless you're at Hattie B's what is? I will return here for sure. Chicken was tender and tasty and mac and cheese was flavorful. Staff was really friendly as well and I'm all about supporting small business. read more

Outstanding Nashville chicken...so much flavor and spice to appreciate here. The chili is fabulous too. I highly recommend!!

KFC is more likely to get a 5 star review. There's actually 0 service. They make you order through an app. The mashed potatoes and gravy weren't bad, aside from no gravy. That's the nicest thing that I can say about tonight's experience. read more

Great service. Chicken thighs and legs were flavorful and very juicy. Coleslaw was very creamy, never had it like that but it was good! Mashed potatoes were good, taste like they mixed sour cream into them? Overall good food with nice atmosphere, will be back again. read more

Someplace new in town... Something this town needed!!! I decided to try it out today. Best decision I've made in a while. The service was excellent. The food, Great! Tater tots, wow. Seem home made, twice the size of your normal tot. Seasoned Fries, excellent. Good sized fries to boot. Boneless chicken bites with bbq rub, very tender, tasty with a bit of zing to them. Traditional Nashville Fried Chicken, the skin crisp n tasty, the chicken is so, so moist. Best I have had in a very long time. I will definitely be ordering again to try out some other flavors. Two Thumbs Up!!! then licked em off.. lol. Do yourself a favor... Order some soon, you won't regret it. I think this is a great place that our community can get behind and support, for sure. Let's help them out... get out and try it, then spread the word! read more

Great chicken, service, and a friendly atmosphere! I was not sure what to expect when we stopped in, but the staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing. We got the fried chicken, poutine, Mac & Cheese, and nuggets for our family meal. (Don't judge - calories don't count on vacation) The food was made after we ordered, but this is no issue - as they have ample seating while you wait, with many large screen TVs for the sports fans, like myself. The wait was only about 12 minutes, and the food was well worth the waiting. The dining area and bathrooms were also both super clean (A big plus in my book) read more

If you like raw chicken eat here. They should be shut down. If you like getting sick eat here. I called the health department they will hopefully do what is right for Beaver Dam. Also the owner took the raw chicken as a joke. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Good luck not getting sick. I left a message for the health department, I hope they can fix this place but ownership/ management will not admit they are wrong. I brought a child and an 80 year old here to try it out. I'm worried about food poisoning but they don't seem to think that's an issue. Owner and manager admitted the thermometers were broken. Wow you have one job running a restaurant... don't get people sick. This is not their concern. Stay away. Let somebody who knows what they are doing take this place over. No excuses for what they did. Never go there!!! Also they only refunded 50% of a meal we couldn't eat. I guess they are struggling so bad they need the money and don't care about the public. Do we be afraid!!! read more

Sighhhhhh. When they FIRST opened during the pandemic the quality of the food was good. But things quickly went downhill - quality of chicken has dramatically decreased and is now poor and very grisly. (We've given two chances and been sorely disappointed) When you make one main thing (chicken) you better be outstanding. Too bad as their interior is nice / modern. Hope they can get back on track. read more

Food is hit and miss. Sometimes they'll forget one or two of your sides; they'll forget to add sauce to the chicken or extra sauce. Mac and cheese is oftentimes lumpy and obviously reheated. Chicken is usually cold or dried out when they notify via text of the order, and that's with me waiting outside their door for the text. We've been ordering here once or twice a month since they opened, and the poor experiences far outweigh the good ones. Kwik Trip has much better chicken, and I hate saying that. read more

Stopped in for lunch today and everything was very good. Thigh and drumstick were both juicy with good flavor, although I was expecting "Nashville medium" to be a little hotter. Mild salt level, seemed to be slightly biased toward the crust but there was enough in the meat to do the job. Crust is thinner so those who use KFC or TV dinner chicken as a measuring stick might be disappointed. Sides were garlic mashed w/gravy and beans w/potatoes, and I liked them both. If I lived closer I'd definitely eat here from time to time. read more
