We were driving through the area and decided to detour to catch dinner since it was getting late…read more After a search on Yelp we decided that Mexican would be a safe bet and this place had decent reviews. It wasn't too busy on a Saturday night but the place was buzzing. They did have a patio but it was not very inviting so we went inside. The service was friendly and very quick. I started with a draft Pacifico - $4 for 16 oz. Not bad. The salsa with the free chips was not my favorite - it was too much like tomato sauce - rather odd. My wife ordered three ala carte enchiladas- one beef, one chicken, one cheese for $9. I got the enchiladas supreme - four types with lettuce, and sour cream for $13. Overall the enchiladas were good not great. If you wanted sides of rice and beans each was over $3 which seemed pricey. I know everything is expensive these days but... The food was solid but nothing special.

We had the regular size margaritas, frozen and they were amazing but also HUGE. We also had steak and nachos, everything was really delicious. The guacamole was the one thing I did not think was fresh-tasting and it was definitely an understatement of the menu. Our servers were generally nice, but they rushed us a bit and didn't do great at water refills. My biggest complaint is that even across the way, I could smell the bathrooms, that bleach hair freshening, toilet cleaner smell. It was a bit overwhelming and definitely not what I want where I eat. I think we would go back if in the area again.

During our visit, we were…read moreimmediately told "a stroller is an inconvenience" to which we kindly offered to park it outside given it was a small space. Our 1-year-old was excited about a baseball game on TV and was talking loudly at times, but remained seated throughout the meal, and we were actively redirecting him. Unfortunately, we felt very unwelcome during our visit. There were comments made about our child to other patrons by staff that made us uncomfortable. When we politely pointed out an error on our bill, the response was sarcastic rather than appreciative. There was no indication that children were not welcome in the restaurant on the website nor via signage, but we left feeling judged rather than welcomed. Because of that experience, we do not plan to return.
