With a loss of about 48 dollars and 20 free spins valued at 2.40. they did call last call but my friend was immediately targeted. He was not told by any on duty employee to leave. There were still about 4 people drinking at the bar when she without cashed him out in the middle of the pay out. Last call does not mean leave. My handicap friend was the only one targeted. She told her boss it didn't happen. We need the machine/owners/techs to review the logs to see what really happened

My server/bartender was attentive and very welcoming. A solid selection of taps, cans/bottles and your standard offering of booze. They do have a menu of different old fashioneds for those inclined. Their menu is your standard pub options-appetizers, pizza, wings, burgers, sandwiches, and fish on Fridays. I opted for one of their daily specials-steak sandwich. I opted for the upgrade for the side of fries that came with and selected the pickle chips. I am glad I did as they are some of the best I have tasted in quite sometime. Thinly sliced, they were perfectly fried with a thin batter that didn't hide the flavor of the pickle. The sandwich also hit the mark-tender steak nestled between a ciabatta bun. It was great. Highly recommend checking out Sauer's-a solid pub with some great food.

We stopped in for lunch. Our waitress, a young woman with a tattoo on her leg, didn't seem to know…read morewhat was going on. My spouse ordered the grilled cheese, which said on the menu it came with a choice of two cheeses. When he said which two cheeses he wanted, the waitress said that would be an extra charge. When he pointed to the menu, she said "she'd have to check". She never came back to tell us if he got two cheeses or not. We weren't given any utensils, so I had to get up and get my own from the hostess station. My burger had a very strong taste of livestock and barnyard. I also ordered an ice water which was almost undrinkable. At least invest in a faucet filter, guys. The homemade chips with garlic cream cheese were very good, though. At the end of the meal, the waitress brought our check, but then came and took it away from us because she forgot to add the beer my spouse ordered because their water had such a bad taste. Since she had already dropped the ball so many times, this could have been an opportunity to extend a gesture of good will and give it to him on the house, but alas. In addition, they have kind of a snotty little sign in the entrance demanding you wipe your feet as if you're a child, and they proudly display that they do not offer any service for their ample patio seating. Just not a great experience.

Love the local character of this hole-in-the-wall place in downtown BD. This place has been around…read morefor decades and the interior is a testament to that. A quirky mix of a diner and a bar. Actually somewhat confusing given all of the TVs for watching sports, the booze and the beer. You'd think it would be open into the wee hours but no it closes at 2pm! Odd. Everyone was a local there except for us - we were the only ones who needed a menu! The banter between the staff and the patrons was entertaining. A real hoot. I ordered a chili cheeseburger which was pretty good. My wife ordered a bowl of chili and a grilled cheese. Both were solid though the chili is more like a chili soup than a typical beefy chili. Lots of beans and good flavor. I am glad places like this are still around - a real historical gem.

However, credit cards are not accepted, so that is part of the reason why prices are reasonable. The chili of course is delicious. Personally, I wish it was a little more spicy. First time coming here and had a bad experience. We waited over an hour for simple orders. I waited…read more15 minutes for 1 beer and forgot I ordered another one. They also completely forgot about one of our orders. They got a simple kids chicken tender meal wrong. It took another 20 minutes for the waitress to bring our bill after we asked for it. (Wasn't even busy) Food - 1 Star. Food was either too salty or had no flavor. Almost everything was microwaved and still cold in the middle. Service - 2 Stars. Waitress and waiters got our orders wrong and forgot orders. They took an exaggerated amount of time to give us one refill and our check. Our waitress did understand the inconvenience and didn't charge us for drinks. Atmosphere- 3 Stars. It wasn't too bright or dark. The seats are comfortable and the dining area was clean. Plenty of TVs with sports on. The bar area would be the only place I would come back to.

So we tried this new location not long after it first opened and everything was great. We decided…read moreto come out tonight for a family night since we haven't had one in a while and we will not be back. First off, our waitress acted like we ruined her day for coming in and making her do something. And it was literally dead when we walked in. Between her tone, slouching off and facial expressions, she was not thrilled at all to be there. Secondly, the food was HORRID and that's saying it nicely. The rice that came with my chicken was so old and dried out, I couldn't eat it...most of it was rock hard pieces. The spinach and artichoke dip, the chips were so old and stale, it literally felt like you were chewing on plastic. So we just ate the bland dip by itself. My daughter ordered the ribs and they came rock hard and BURNT... She couldn't even eat it. It was rock hard to where you couldn't chew it and it also looked like they literally just barbecue glazed straight bone. So not only did my child barely get anything to eat but we wasted that money too. When my husband brought it to the waitress attention she didn't even offer to take the meal off, and claimed they were supposed to be like that. Ridiculous.... Would not and will not recommend this place to ANYONE. Poor service AND food.
