My husband and I went Friday night and each had a 2 piece walleye dinner and 2 sodas and our bill came to $43 and we were totally shocked!! Born and raised in Wisconsin but had never been to a Culver's. Friendly staff, clean, and fast but the fish and chips was ‍. Any comparison to a Wisconsin Supper Club fish fry is a big NOPE. Maybe their burgers and custard are great, but I'm one & done with Carvers. read more

I was in beautiful Beaver Dam and was extremely hungry. Decided to try the 2-piece Cod Dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, with broccoli. What an amazing price and an even better meal! This is a must for anyone who enjoys a good fish fry. The service was outstanding and food was delicious! I hope I got this right...I think his name was Dave who took my order and served the food. As a teacher, I went to fill out a form so I could bring my class of 10 students to Culvers and get free Scooby sundaes. I stood and waited 15 min. for the form from the manager. He gives me the form. I fill it out and wait at the counter for him to follow up with me. He makes me wait appr. 5 more min. Then he comes over and says he will get to me on this. He never did. So rude.....very disappointed. I took my kids to Pizza Ranch instead. They were so friendly and received us well. read more

We stopped by for a quick dinner on our way back to Madison. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this Culver's is! The restaurant itself looks brand new and has a cool modern decor while still maintaining the Culver's country vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to my request for a veggie patty on one of the kid's meals. Good tunes we're playing and the kids commented, "It's warm in here! It's never warm in Culver's". I will definitely be back if I'm driving through again. read more

Over many years and many visits, I find that any Culver's can be hit-and-miss. Sometimes the food is fantastic, sometimes the burgers are a little overcooked and dry. More often than not, however, they are pretty good. This location was in a part of Beaver Dam I didn't know even existed. GPS took us there after a round of golf, and we were not disappointed. It was easy to get to and there's a lot of commerce around it if you're looking for that. The restaurant was clean and the workers were plenty friendly. I ordered a mushroom & swiss - classic stuff. It was excellent. Tasty - juicy - probably the best M&S I've had at a Culver's. The fries were fresh, rounding out a very good meal for me. My buddy ordered the cod dinner and seemed content with his meal. It looked like a lot of food (and should be for the price). I don't get to Beaver Dam often - usually once a year for a round of golf in the fall. But I will certainly remember this as a viable lunch option when in town! read more

Culver's is amazing! The bugers are exstreamly well cooked and it's like tasting heaven. Fries are very crispy but to crispy were you don't like them. I prefer chili as a side because once you get the chili it's prefectly hot. For the Custered it tastes as good as buger. read more

"WELCOME TO DELICIOUSNESS' I always get the kids meal with the butterburger with cheese and the "works". The patty is always juicy and a great crunch around the edges that you can't get anywhere else. The bun is soft and buttery. The "works" bring it all together with the mustard, ketchup, the crispness of the pickles and the slices not minced onions. The fries are perfectly salted, fried and blistering hot. The patties in my double butter burger were so thin & flimsy that I could literally see daylight through them when I held them up. "The works" consisted of tiny squirts of mustard & ketchup and two teeny pickle slices. At $7.50 for a burger basket, Sunview and Park Avenue Cafe serve up bigger portions of better food in the same price range. read more

This review is for the out of towners written by an out of towner. We don't have Culvers back in PA so I had no clue what this place was about until one of the local guys I'm working with recommended it. Up to that point I'd been to every other restaurant in town at least once (been here working on a project for about 2 months) and none of the other places in town were that great. Usually when I'm on the road one of the things I look forward to is trying out new restaurants and finding new favorites, but after a few days in Beaver Dam going out to eat was becoming a chore instead of something to look forward to. Really disappointing. My first time here I had the double bacon burger. It's without a doubt the best burger I've had anywhere in Beaver Dam (and pretty darn good for any other part of the country as well). I got the crinkle cut fries with my burger. they aren't as good as the burgers - though still pretty decent (not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries to begin with). I've been back several times and have tried something different each time. So far I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I've ordered (again, except for the fries, they just don't do it for me). Any time I'm back in Beaver Dam for work I'll certainly be stopping here. *edit* Just wanted to come back to this review after getting their fish 'n chips dinner (they don't call it fish 'n chips, but that's what it is). It was some of the best fried fish I've ever had and totally reaffirmed my belief that this is the best place in Beaver Dam to eat. read more

Culvers does have delicious food. However, the prices are hard to meet for most people. When a meal takes what you're paid for an hour of work that just doesn't seem right. They send out coupons, yes. However, it's generally buy one get one. Well, that's fine unless you're the only person. AND, the waiting time IS ridiculous! No, we don't want food that's been sitting there for 20-30 minutes. But, Culver's should have enough know how to estimate customer's orders and be more prepared. I have called and ordered ahead. I don't know how they handle that but it did speed things up a bit. But, what if I'm not sure when I'll be there? read more

Ordered a concrete mixer waited 10 minutes in the drive thru which 2 other cars that ordered after me recieved their food. When I went in to cancel my order no one helped me. Will not be going back their service is slow and awful. read more
