This was the first time we've been here and it definitely WONT be the last!! The atmosphere was very homie and comfortable! The service was above and beyond amazing! The food was to die for as well! It came out in a great amount of time and was fresh and homemade! The sauces are homemade and you can tell Al the passion and love that is put into it! Would definitely recommend! I had the catfish with coleslaw, husband has eggs Benedict and they switch the ham for country fried steak and has browns. But kids had a cheeseburger and mini corn dogs with onion rings and tots. Prices were a tad higher than I would prefer. But portion size was good. I should have said crispy bacon for my French toast sandwich. Hard to bite into with sad bacon. Overall the sandwich was decent. I've had similar at places that were better. My husband got the our house stacker with chicken fried steak. I took a bite and thought his meal definitely tasted better. The server was good. Refilled our coffee without us having to wait around and ask for it. Our stay in Beaver Dam found us flipping a coin on where to go to for Friday night. It is kind of off the beaten path and at first glance it is not the hidden gem that we found. I had the catfish sandwich which melted in my mouth. The servings I saw come out were huge. The staff was very friendly and since we have a tend to joke around, they joke right back. They help each other, and even though they take the time to build a relationship with their customers, they are hustling to get the food out in a reasonable time. The Old Fashions were delicious and the old building, with beautiful high ceilings, is well kept. My only thought would be to do something special with the buns to really set sandwiches apart. read more

Very affordable all around, drinks are GREAT. Some of the best food I've ever had. Servers are very welcoming and always attentive. Close, family friendly atmosphere, has toys and coloring for children. The only downside is that I wish they were open later in the days! 6am-2pm Sat-Thurs & 6am-8pm on Fridays. read more

Heard about their awesome breakfasts and then discovered they do a Friday fish dinner. I had the beer battered perch, and it was GREAT. A few types of fish and batter / dry options were also great as tried with my fellow diners. The tater tots (yes, tater tots) were dangerously delicious and the side of beets excellent too. The best Friday fish fry I've had in the area. Nothing fancy, just great food. Highly recommend. read more

Went early Sunday and was able to grab a table with no problems. Very clean and welcoming staff. The waitress was over top nice and was always filling up the coffee. The coffee itself was a bit weak which would be one thing they could fix easy . I ordered biscuit and gravy with hash browns and bacon and wife had vegetable omelette . Overall good food and amount. Prices are a bit high but good for a Sunday breakfast and staff is so friendly .... Staff makes the place ! read more

I am going to start by telling all of you to get off your rear sides and get over to their restaurant... Working on a skeleton crew, they did an amazing job tending to the needs of all of the customers while still getting high-quality food out to the guests. I have lived in Beaver Dam for the last 7 years, and travel all over the US for work. I have been to every restaurant here in town, and all of the "local favorites" in 50+ other cities. That said, the food here is probably the best small-kitchen breakfast I have had outside of my own home; no lie! Seriously, who else in this city feeds you home-cured bacon?!? I would encourage all of you to make an effort to stop here to eat some really good food! Support local and tip them well! read more

Had the fish fry...I had beer battered cod and my hubby had the catfish coated in cornmeal. The food was excellent . Our waitress was (I believe) one of the owners. She was super nice and friendly. Can't wait to check out breakfast next! Love local businesses read more

Great place with good food. I was sad to see the Char Haus close, but so happy Our House 2 took over. I had the fish sandwich and it was so delicious. You can pay your bill from your phone if you'd like. Haven't had breakfast here yet, but will definitely stop in soon to try it!! read more

writing reviews is not something i do normally unless its a well deserving one or a very underwhelming one. So with that being said; I'm writing this review due to how underwhelmed I was. To be frank I 100% feel like this restaurant is not deserving to get anyones hard earned money. Here is a couple reasons to explain why i feel this way: 1. they didnt have any napkins, they gave us paper towel. 2. our kids high chair was broke. 3. the waitress we had was not welcoming at all, felt very awkward during our exchange of words to order our food. Now on to the worst part: 1. The food was very cheap. Tasted, and looked like it was aldis food. 2. I could tell the food was extremely cheap because I COULDNT EVEN PICK UP MY BURGER! The BUN was falling apart instantly. 3. My girls chicken was extremely pick still. 4. SHE GOT A ROTTEN Potato! It was extremely black inside and u could 100% smell it! 5. There was like little fuzzies all over our food, almost looked like little hairs which makes you think there is mold growing on it. I said something to the waitress about our potato and she said that it happens, and they just got those potato's so there is nothing they can do about that and that it isnt their fault but offered to make a new one. -my thoughts and expression to her was well why arent you cutting these potato's open to potentially see if they are rotten, and to cook them. Secondly i have never seen a potato that was that rotten and black. I have had old potatoes sit in my pantry on accident... -but all i said was i have never had an occasion like this ever happen at my house and especially not at a restaurant so i would like a refund... and she asked why wouldnt i just get a new one. I politely told her our appetites were completely gone now. She just wouldn't give up on asking why, and i told her that i didnt want to be rude so please just give me a refund. Which she finally did.... I have gone to every restaurant in the town of beaver dam and i have never been this disappointed about a place; not even applebees and they have gone downhill big time. I 100% feel like this place will end up closing its doors because like i said they are not deserving of anyones money. read more

Well, after trying to get breakfast in Beaver Dam, we stumbled upon this place. It seems that everyone eats out in this town with the long wait lines and reservations lol. Our House 2 is a cool little bar/restaurant with an old time feel. Walked in and was warmly greeted with "just pick a spot". Our waitress Samantha was very friendly and personable even though she was busy. Food was good. I would definitely come back. read more
