I was ill and bed-bound, and he took advantage of me. I needed mobile vet services, so I had him come out to my home to draw blood from a pet of mine who needed testing. I was very ill and had no one available to help me to take my pet to the vet. "Dr." Rosenzweig came off as super disorganized and was clumsy when drawing blood. He had a terrible bedside manner and (really) put my pet in pain when inserting the needle, making him cry and jerk. I'd paid him $1,600 for testing which is outrageous, but he insisted that it was necessary. I waited 3 weeks and tried to contact him. Left two voicemails, a text message, and two emails. He completely blew me off. He's completely immature and unprofessional. He wasn't gentle at all, and despite what others had said in their reviews, he DOES oversell his services, he isn't caring, he's egregiously callous, irresponsible, and flakey. Would never hire this kid again. He wouldn't even be a good vet tech, that's how bad he was.

The vet gave our puppies a thorough exam during their first visit and found that one had tapeworms. He gave us a pill for both puppies and there was no sign of tapeworms several days after their pill. The vet also noticed that one of the puppies had a small hernia. When we brought the puppies in for their first distemper shot at 9 weeks old, the vet was so adept at handling the puppies and giving them an injection, that neither puppy flinched. I should note that the puppies are a little under 2.5 pounds.

They made a perfunctory exam of her teeth, did a $300 pre-op bloodwork panel, and gave me an estimate of $1,500-$2,500 for the procedure. I decided to get a second opinion and went to All Animal Veterinary Services. Dr. Acworth thoroughly examined my dog's teeth and determined that she did not need a dental procedure AT ALL. She suggested that I just brush her teeth, and I left there with my dog who had her rabies shot, heartworm test, and nail trim, as well as all the necessary items to clean her teeth, for less than $250. I recommend Dr. Acworth highly. She is informative, efficient, pleasant, and thorough. The staff are personable, friendly, and very informative, as well.
