Their love of cats and dogs is evident during every appointment. And the time they give: examining and diagnosing; treating while explaining and demonstrating, is remarkable. I feel that my dog has a friend at Countryside. The only slight dissatisfaction is with some of the reception staff. Most are welcoming while some don't "get" the customer is the most important piece of business. I have always had a follow up call made the day after service to find out if my dog is all right and if anything needs to be addressed. I go out of my way to get to Countryside, but o feel it's worth the effort to get the best care for my sweet companion.

We take good care of him and I immediately made an appointment with Countryside. The next day, I set out for the appointment. I just moved to the area, so as luck would have it, I zoomed right by their clinic (which, by the way, is difficult to see when you're going 50 miles an hour on 9G). By the time I realized what happened and got turned around, I arrived at Countryside 10 minutes late. I arrived to an empty waiting room and only two cars in the lot (the vet and tech?). The tech at reception went behind the doors and came back out a moment later and said, "I'm sorry, the doctor said you will need to reschedule". I was stunned. I said, "I can't let him be uncomfortable over the Labor Day weekend. I'm going to have to go to an emergency clinic." This did not move her at all. This was abhorrent behavior. A dog has to suffer because you like punctuality? Or maybe you wanted to start the long weekend early? That was shameful. We will be changing vets.

After I called them to confirm they received emails and asked them to call me when they got emails they said "No, they were too busy". I understand they are busy, but then I was told curtly that I already called "several times". Basically, they were telling me to not call again. Message received, I just waited longer to be seen by current vet.

I was ill and bed-bound, and he took advantage of me. I needed mobile vet services, so I had him come out to my home to draw blood from a pet of mine who needed testing. I was very ill and had no one available to help me to take my pet to the vet. "Dr." Rosenzweig came off as super disorganized and was clumsy when drawing blood. He had a terrible bedside manner and (really) put my pet in pain when inserting the needle, making him cry and jerk. I'd paid him $1,600 for testing which is outrageous, but he insisted that it was necessary. I waited 3 weeks and tried to contact him. Left two voicemails, a text message, and two emails. He completely blew me off. He's completely immature and unprofessional. He wasn't gentle at all, and despite what others had said in their reviews, he DOES oversell his services, he isn't caring, he's egregiously callous, irresponsible, and flakey. Would never hire this kid again. He wouldn't even be a good vet tech, that's how bad he was.

Our elderly dog was on two expensive medications that needed renewal on a monthly basis. We used online pharmacies to make it more affordable for our family through coupons - but this vet office made it EXTREMELY difficult to get these prescriptions approved because they wanted us to use their (much more expensive) in-house pharmacy. No matter how many times I wrote emails and complained about this practice, every time I needed a prescription refill approved, their in-house pharmacy would deny it initially and then tell me to order through their in-house pharmacy. Then I would have to call the office and write emails asking them to approve the prescription through the online pharmacy. It was time-consuming and exhausting because it was over and over again. It also meant that there were week-long delays in getting our dog the medication she needed. I hope the office re-thinks this way of working. I know they are trying to make more money by keeping meds in house - but it just makes folks frustrated that they can't get their pets medication at an affordable rate - without a huge hassle.
