Millerton Veterinary Practice - Waiting room, which is sectioned off with a partition, so smart considering some pets don't get along with others!

There's one smart vet that works here but she's patronizing and she can't give you the time of day…read morelet alone actually treat your dog not just the symptoms of the underlying illness. And with zero communication and your outrageous prices on everything this is a joke why would any of you become a vet if you care more about money than you do the animals it has to be even otherwise duces. Also, I find it very odd how veterinarians are not educated on pet food like the fact that it's grade D meeting, deceased, and diseased animals, which is what they recommended my sick dog eat, so basically just fill up their stomachs with crap and kill their insides?? IS THIS WHAT YOU ALL FEED YOUR DOGS AND CATS?! This is what I think of this place I'm sorry you thought I was going to put clown shoes on like you guys and come to your place ever again, I'm not sure why you thought that when nobody could call me back! It's laughable but sad bc I have a sick dog and they're a joke.

The doctors are highly knowledgeable and supportive. The nurses and office teams are very helpful and well organized. They have a great support system fo buy medicated food and to organize follow up visits. I am very grateful for their services and they certainly are a great asset to the entire area for us who live here and love our pets.

For BBB standard they are not for their customers. because when they make a mistake they will break the 4 elements of medical Malpractice. are vet was Dr. Dana the Medical Director

Talk about a new world! For the first time, my cat wasn't feral in the foyer or with any of the vets and staff at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital. The level of caring, compassion, knowledge, and experience by every one of the staff at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital is stellar. I realized what a sh*tshow Community Animal Hospital is in comparison! Customarily, my cat has to be sedated and contrary to Community Animal Hospital, it didn't take 1-2 days but 1-2 hours to recover. There's a lot more, especially paying 67% less on fees - the estimates were right on target unlike Community Animal Hospital which changes estimates on a whim. Most importantly, I was informed that my cat's lab work revealed a reversal of his kidney disease in the one year since he's been a patient at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital. That's not only a miracle, but a testimony to them!

The reception staff has noticeably become less friendly, and I've been waiting nearly two weeks for an important return call--with no response. Unfortunately, I've decided to move to a different vet. If you're considering this as your primary veterinary clinic, I'd urge you to factor in the long wait times (even during emergencies) and the inconsistent level of service. While many of the vets are excellent, not all are, and the overall experience has left me very disappointed.
