THEFT: They stole several new high quality and expensive moving blankets and we had to play "search and rescue" to find our blankets in their truck after they UNWRAPPED stored furniture that had brand new blankets and then REWRAPPED the furniture with old filthy blankets to bring them from a storage unit to our house; (2). FRAUDULENT BILLING & PADDING OF INVOICE: Currin padded the invoice by approx. $250. (3). NEGLIGENCE & PROPERTY MISHANDLING: Currin had no carpet protection to put on carpets even though he confirmed prior to the move that he had new runners to put down. He only had one for the entry and it was filthy. Currin tried to put filthy plastic down but it did not work so he decided to remove his shoes and had his coworkers do the same when bringing items in, therefore creating a hazard for everyone including the items he was moving. These crooks left furniture turned upside down and purposefully put it in wrong rooms to be vindictive. (4) REFUSED to HONOR LIABILITY COVERAGE FOR CLAIMS: We paid $300 for liability coverage and had damage to several items but when we reached out to him to file a claim, he refused to provide any information to start the claims process. Sam Currin also had hostile and threatening behavior toward my husband and I when confronted about the stolen blankets and bill. He was caught and we all knew it. His hostile, aggressive, and threatening demeanor continually worsened until he stormed out of our home. He created an unsafe and intimidating environment. This level of aggression and lack of professionalism is unacceptable, dangerous and will be reported.

Each time I called Wheaton, which was suggested by a realtor. This last time, we used Duryea Moving and Storage from Denton, Texas, to move our belongings from U-Store-It in Sherman, Texas to Edmond, Oklahoma. I am much appreciative of Wheaton because we only gave them one week's notice, and most companies will only move you if you give them at least two weeks. Wheaton came through again, and our driver, Steven Peace, contacted us on Thursday, telling us that he would meet us at the storage facility 8:30 that Saturday morning. With a crew of three, including himself, Steven had our two units emptied and loaded in less than three hours. He arrived in Edmond with a crew of four Monday at 7:30 a.m. If anything, Steven is prompt. They unloaded, took direction, hooked up our appliances, set up the beds and sectional furniture, and were finished before lunch. In addition to being prompt and quick, his team is courteous and professional. We recommend Wheaton and Steven if you are moving a short distance or cross-country.

We plan to have Calvin and his team return to move the items back into the house once our floor update is complete and will definitely keep him at the top of our list for any future moving needs

They were friendly and took genuine care with my items. My mom was there with me and they could not have been more sweet. They loaded a chair in her car and took a heavy rug I did not plan to keep to the dumpster for me. At one point they even gave a neighbor who happened to be moving themselves a little tip about their U-Haul truck. I cannot recommend this company enough! Look no further.

Grayson, Justin and Zack arrived by 4:00 p.m. Wow! Yes, you read that correctly, they arrived thirty minutes after my first call. Grayson explained everything and they got to work. I had trouble keeping up with the three of them and all I did was direct boxes. They unloaded six U-Boxes containers that were tightly packed to the brim in under three hours! Their work ethic is the best I've ever seen from any moving company...ever! I couldn't be happier with the service they provided for the price I paid! I'll never call another company as long as they are an option. Going forward, Brown Box Movers is the company I'll be recommending to friends and family! Thanks again Grayson, Justin and Zack! I had the distinct displeasure of speaking with "RYAN" on two different occasions, and the first time his last words before he hung up were "have a good day bitch." I received text messages from an unknown number stating they had amazing rates for the end of the month moves, so I called the number back, not even knowing that it was the same moving company until unfortunately Ryan again got on the phone!!!!!! After here, arguing with me when I was giving him my pricing to move myself, he hung up on me, so I called back and demanded to speak with the manager and the manager seemed like a decent person at first, but then said "I'm a Christian man and I'm gonna put my Christian values aside and go beat the hell out of Ryan for talking to you the way that he did." He then proceeded to pretend to slap Ryan twice when in all reality I'm sure he was clapping his own hands, because if you hit somebody, you're gonna be charged with assault/battery!!!! The whole entire company is a shit show and a joke!!!! if you enjoy being talked down to and being called a bitch when you disagree with the prices that they're giving you then feel free to take your chances with this company, but if you want to be respected and treated well and have any hopes of getting a job well done DO NOT EVEN MAKE THE PHONE CALL TO THESE MORONS!!!!!!

Firstly, I never leave reviews. Only bad ones! This however, deserves a 10x solid review…read more Absolutely, without a doubt, the most impressive moving company I've ever hired. They came in on time, moved without breaks (which they should of taken), honest, and put everything together with ease. Rusty, the lead, knew what the heck he was doing. That's for sure. An efficient operation in totality. Honest and affordable. He even provided us tips as a father figure on what we should and shouldn't do. For that, I appreciate you that much more. I recommend this company and would hope y'all choose these guys for the move. You won't find better. No doubts on this. I cold called them on a whim, hoped, and prayed for success. I received such. Thank you guys. You made our move from Florida whole! Respect! Max

I would not recommend Step-by-Step Moving & Delivery based on our experience…read more Last month, they moved my daughter's belongings from one house to another in Plano--a distance of less than one mile. We requested a crew of three movers, but they showed up with four. One of the crew members appeared to be very young and inexperienced, possibly under 17. Instead of helping move items efficiently, he spent a long time trying to dismantle a crib with a screwdriver. I politely suggested that they simply move the crib without taking it apart, since it would save time. Apparently, he didn't appreciate the suggestion and went to speak with the crew leader. To my surprise, the entire crew stopped working and refused to continue until I left my daughter's house. They claimed it was because of "liability," but they couldn't clearly explain what liability they were referring to. We ended up losing about 45 minutes before they finally resumed the move. The entire experience was very unprofessional. Before the job started, everyone was friendly, but once they began working, the pace was extremely slow. It often felt like they were moving one small item at a time instead of working efficiently. A four-person crew took nearly the entire day to move the contents of a four-bedroom house less than a mile away. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Step-by-Step Moving & Delivery. If you're looking for movers who work efficiently and professionally, I would suggest considering other companies. This photo shows the moving crew standing around instead of working. We waited nearly 45 minutes while the job was at a standstill after I politely suggested a faster way to move a crib.
