Very Disappointed - Be Cautious with Ultimate Auto Repair in Jackson, MI…read more I'm extremely unhappy with the service I received from Ultimate Auto Repair in Jackson, MI. I brought my SUV in for repairs, and the whole experience was frustrating from start to finish. First of all, they kept my vehicle for an entire month, which is way too long for the type of repairs that were supposed to be done. During that time, communication was very poor. I had to constantly reach out just to get updates, and I was often left in the dark about what was going on with my car. They also made me feel pressured into approving repairs that I wasn't fully sure about. While my warranty covered some (or most) of the cost, it still felt like I was being pushed to spend more money than necessary. It didn't feel like they were working in my best interest--more like they were trying to get as much money out of the situation as possible. When I finally got my SUV back after a month, I immediately noticed that a personal item I always keep in the car was missing. I know for a fact it was there when I dropped it off. It's incredibly disappointing to feel like you can't even trust the place you're paying a lot of money to. I spent a lot--a lot--on this repair, and to be treated like this just doesn't feel fair. I usually try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I can't recommend this shop to anyone, and I suggest looking elsewhere if you want honest, timely, and respectful service.

He was clear, professional, and needless to say, very helpful. I'd recommend you give them a shout, they helped me out in a pinch. Thanks again!

Have a fat bank account, rental car, and don't be a black woman and try to talk to them because they won't listen to you. I tried to show them the funds would be distributed to pick up our vehicle and not only did they NOT want to see it, the guy walked away and the service representative backed him up saying that I didn't give him a chance to speak? How does showing a cell phone require me prohibiting anyone from speaking at any time? It doesn't. And when he called me ma'am, I said my preferred title is Dr and it was not respected; he rolled his eyes. If my preferred pronouns were they, I suspect that wouldn't be respected either. Both disrespectful and prejudicial. Cherry on top--I called back and they refused my call or blocked my number. Super duper professional. If I were you--take your car to the BMW dealer. You'll be treated more respectfully even if you pay more. It would be worth it rather than feeling like a stupid little black girl who doesn't know anything about cars. Do better.
