Absolute banger. The dressing tasted unmistakably house-made with the perfect balance of richness, garlic, lemon, and anchovy. It's one of those deceptively simple dishes that can be hard to execute well, and they absolutely nailed it. The carbonara was enjoyable overall with a silky sauce and great flavor, but the pancetta was cut into pieces that were much larger than necessary. Smaller pieces would have distributed the flavor more evenly and made each bite feel better balanced. The table bread with the red sauce was another pleasant surprise. Fresh, comforting, and exactly the kind of thing that keeps everyone reaching for "just one more piece." The chicken parm sandwich had plenty of potential, but it was noticeably dry. It really needed a more generous helping of marinara to bring everything together and add the moisture you'd expect from a chicken parm. One area that could definitely use some attention is the restrooms. They were functional, but they felt tired compared to the rest of the restaurant and would really benefit from a refresh or remodel. Overall, this was a solid first visit with far more positives than negatives. While I'd probably skip the carbonara and chicken parm sandwich next time in favor of trying other menu items, that Caesar salad is something I'd order again in a heartbeat. So not really on them. I tried the seasonal mocktail (wish I remembered the one I got), calamari, and the penne all a vodka with chicken as my protein. Everything was presented well and tasted great. Excellent pasta, well priced and friendly service. The options here are practically limitless as you can choose from multiple different types of pasta, and match those with multiple different types of sauces. We ordered the penne with mushroom sauce, the penne with bolognese(which our kids especially loved), the veal ravioli and the fettuccine with sausage, broccoli and pecorino. Everything was freshly made, and quickly packed up for us with a smile and was all very delicious. We ordered out and they packed our orders in cool vacuum packed to-go containers that are perfect for travel. The best part is we will have leftovers for tomorrow as the portions were generous. We plan to return to try out the salads, sandwiches, lasagna and meat entrees in addition to amazing number of pasta options and will update once we try it all. So far though Dal Grano is pitching a perfect pasta game. read more

Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff managed to seat us promptly, and their friendly demeanor added to the inviting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food - simply delicious! The pasta selection was impressive, and the build-your-own-pasta option was a hit with our group. And for those craving something classic, the chicken parm didn't disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of Peroni 0.0 - a perfect choice for a non-alcoholic drinker (like myself that evening). Interesting art on the wall and nice bathroom. Park on the parking garage below or on the side street/lot nearby. Make sure if you don't finish your lamb and ask to put it in a takeaway box go specify that you want your lamb scraps. Learn from me because my waiter tossed all my lamb and just boxed up the rice likely thinking I was done with them. Big bummer since I was looking forward to my leftovers but oh well.

As for the service, there was always someone filling up our waters and our waiter was very nice checking in every now and then. The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.
