I recently purchased a puppy from this breeder. I love the puppy he has a great personality and seems to be a great dog! He did become ill 2 days after we brought him home with dehydration and had a bacterial infection. He was very lethargic on day 2, he would not get up and when he did he would fall over. He did vomit and have diarrhea. So you can see my concern on bringing him to the vet. He had to go to the vet and have IVs and antibiotics and stay overnight for 2 days. So as you can guess it was quite a hefty vet bill. I contacted the breeder and she did respond quickly, and asked to see the vet bills and blood work done. She disagreed with the vet's findings and had some opinions on his treatment, which did seem to make sense. I am not sure the exact cause of the infection, but my vet feels it happened with the breeder due to the time frame. The breeder stated she felt his blood work came back with high white cells due to his vaccination being done the day before we picked him up, due to none of the other puppies being ill. She stated we did not prove he was ill and therefore would not return any of the money we paid for him. She also stated she does not provide any refunds unless the puppy is returned to her. So be aware if you purchase a puppy you will not get any part of your fee returned if the puppy is ill unless you give it back and prove to her standards it is ill. The breeder stated she has been breeding dogs for 20 years and has seen this happen before due to the puppy adjusting to a new home and they can become dehydrated quickly due to the vomit and diarrhea. I was concerned he had Parvo but the tests were negative. He is now been home for a few days and seems to be doing great. My kids love him and he has a great demeanor. I think they also go under the name of Curly Top Labradoodles, since the paper work I received with his shot and worming records had this name on the top. read more

I would agree with the previous poster. We purchased an older pup about a year ago. Let me state that we love this dog and she is a perfect fit for our family. I made an appointment for her a couple days after we took her home. The records they gave us were a bit suspect and the vet questioned the validity of them. It was discovered that this poor girl had a serious worm problem. We had that cleared up. She was having some issues with controlling her bladder in the house. We chalked it up to issues of the change to our home. She was exhibiting some symptoms of a bladder infection, based on our internet research, so we took her to the vet again. She indeed did have a bladder infection. It was treated with antibiotics and seemed to clear up, but returned a couple weeks later. She was treated again and it appeared to be fine. She got another one. In the span of four months she had 4 bladder infections. Finally we had her bladder tested directly and an ultrasound. Poor girls bladder was riddled with infection and had polyps. It appears that we never completely cleared the infection due to the severity. They placed her on human antibiotics, which seems to have done the trick. Between that and cranberry pills a couple time a week, we seem to have cleared that hurdle. I should state that we have never addressed this with the folks we got the dog from. Based on what we paid for her and our research, after we took her home, I would say this was more of a back yard breeder situation. I am not implying that they don't care for the dogs they are selling because they appeared too. But, now that I look back, the woman we dealt with, in Battle Ground, WA, may have been a bit overwhelmed with what she was dealing with. The house was over run with dogs and had a serious cleaner/ammonia smell. There was a good bit of feces in the back yard but generally cleaned up. Once again, this dog is the perfect fit for our family and we wouldn't give her up for anything, but if you happen to purchase one of these dogs, please make sure to have your vet check them out ASAP. I probably wouldn't recommend any of my friends or family to get their dog here and would most likely go somewhere else if we were to get another one. read more

We went to Daisy Hill just to see the puppies that were available not having research the breeder at all. We fell in love with a 14 week old female and purchased her on the spot. The breeder said she would send us her shot records, information about her lineage, and her baby picture. There was no discussion about a guarantee policy. We noticed right away that she was rubbing her ears. They were really dirty so I cleaned them real well, but that didn't help. We bought her on Saturday and her first vet appointment was the following Thursday. The vet found she had a very advanced case of ear mites and a yeast infection. The price for just the lab tests and medications was $200.00. I called the breeder and explained the problem, she said she was at work and would return my phone call. She didn't return my call and we didn't receive our puppies shot records. Finally, more than a week later, I called her again and left a message saying that it seemed that small claims court was my only alternative. She called me back immediately, she was extremely angry and screamed at me over the phone. She didn't ask about the health of the puppy or any details about the ear mites. She said that she forgot to return my call. Hmm... forgot? She refused to send me the shot record claiming that she was protecting herself. If the puppy received her shots I don't understand how sending me a record of the shots would put her at risk. She finally agreed to tell me the dates of the shots over the phone. Our vet has recommended that we have the puppy tested to make sure she has had her shots. We love our puppy, but I would never recommend someone buying a dog from this breeder. read more

I love my dog so much and am so happy that I found her, but I do believe how she was bred is the reasons for her gastrointestinal problems. My dog is almost three now, but the first two years all I can remember is us being at the vet once or twice every month or two due to her problems (mostly having diarrhea and vomiting). She is the sweetest and most loving dog, which is why I do believe you can find your best friend here, but beware, it may come with health issues. read more

I bought our Labradoodle from this breeder Christmas 2012. We so love Rosie who has the best temperament but had terrible issues with her stomach from the time we brought her home. I have never had a smarter more loving dog. Even when she is at the kennel, they keep her up front. I swear this dog smiles. But I still can't give her beef based food, she gets loose stools if she's off a rice and chicken diet. It's been expensive and tough on her, but we would do anything for our Rosie girl. I just would not use this breeder. I agree with the totally overwhelmed comments. I remember picking Rosie up and the pups were in tall cardboard boxes and the house smelled terrible of urine and feces. I couldn't wait to get her out of there. read more

This breeder claims to have mini/toy beagles which is not true. We bought one from her 2 years ago to find out our dog is half beagle and half chihuahua. Even though we love our dog, he has brought us health problems of both breeds. Feel a little bit scammed and lied to. I did research to find that "mini" and "toy" beagles do not exist and that it's a breeder scam. I am not going to return the dog, our family is already attached. Jessica, I purchased a puppy from this breeder 3 years ago. We had the same thing happen to us. The breeder was also unwilling to even share the vet bill reponsiblity with me as this was a HUGE vet bill. My puppy wound up with a disease called Coccidia which my vet ruled was not given to my puppy but the dog I already had in the home because of how bad the disease was. Had he not been brought to a vet when I brought him in he would have died! He had worms and blood in his poop so badly that the vet said there was no way it came from my other dog since he had shown no signs of this and the severity of it. Also when I purchased my puppy I signed nothing with the breeder and no health guarentee was given. I was also told at purchase the puppy was 9 weeks old when I took him to the vet he was in fact only 6 weeks old! Thank goodness 3 years later my puppy is still playful and happy and that we were able to nurse him back to health but in speaking with the Lewis County animal control I was told that there have been several complaints of this type with this breeder. My miniature beagle from This breeder is a 26 lb. love of my life but she is not a good beagle by any stretch of beagle structure her head is of a very small dog and her body is big and her coat is so short it is labeled in dog terms "insufficient coat". I like all the others never received her shot records or linage. I quit trying after many calls never returned. I also found out she was not 9 weeks old as she said but 6 weeks which had the Vet very upset. We had big bet bills the first 3 months due to vomiting her food daily.
