Stay away from these cheap %^$#*s. I visited the daiso in Little Tokyo. Bought a small electronic device, that, when I got home, didn't work. OK, so I went back to this store to return / exchange and their stinking store policy is you have to return where you bought from - unlike every other chain business I have EVER been in. So I have to hassle driving back to DTLA, pay for parking to return some cheap trash item? No, I don't. Because I will never patronize these cheap ^%$#s again. My few dollars lost will cost them a *&%@load more of lost business dollars from their penny-pinching store policy, read more

We frequent Daiso in NorCal, so I'll compare its inventory in relativity to those of NorCal. Stationary, dinnerware/cutlery, makeup/beauty, food - more limited than NorCal's Clothing/accessories, containers (baskets, bags, food containers, drink containers, general storage), disposable dinnerware/cutlery - more selection than NorCal's read more

MADE IN CHINA Don't be fooled, if it was made in Japan, the prices would be 3, 4, 5 times more. Look carefully at the labels. They are meant to look Japanese, down to the Japanese writing, but you will see "Made in China" almost every time. Fun to browse through, for sure, but I wouldn't buy stuff that would go in or near my body. Be aware and wonder why things are so ridiculously cheap, and the company still makes a profit. read more

This place is AMAZING! All these adorable nik-naks I just can't say no to! There is everything u can think of from school supplies, kitchenware, gardening supplies, jewelry, gift bags, snacks... I can go on! I never walk out spending less than 20! It's so fun shopping here! Oh and everything is $1.50!!!! read more

I've been to a few different locations. My all-time fave daiso buys are the microfiber face towels, Natural Konjac Puff (gentle facial scrubbing sponge), kawaii pens, 2-box cotton squares, bow eyelash case and I'm always trying a different japanese snack! read more

I waited for so many years and finally Daiso is here! Before, this is a must go shop for me when I went to Vancouver because they have all the cute and cheap things there. Now, they have many stores in Los Angeles and it is just perfect for me in case I am hosting a party. They have all the cute little things and it makes a different for kids party too! read more

This location is close to my SO's family home. His mom insisted on going and thinks this location is bigger than the other one right down the street. It's funny they have a location right next to a 99 cent store. This store is more for cute appeal. The one next door is more for the essentials. I did buy some packets of poster boards. I think a stack of 5 or 6 for just $1.50. Score! It's alright. I've been to 4 different Daisos already and this one is probably my least favorite. At least the lines are outrageous. read more

Clean, organized store with big aisles. This location doesn't have as many items as some of the other Daiso stores. But I still love Daiso and can never walk out empty handed :) read more

I discovered this brand store a few years ago in Korea Town while shopping for a last minute gift. They had about everything that I needed, a whole variety of cute hair accessories, vanity tools, kitchen tools, school supplies, sort of a .99cent store but way way way better quality and almost everything is around $3 or $3.50. The presentation of this place is not my favorite but it is decent and although I'm not sure if they have a/c, the place was fresh today when I walked in. The only downside is that I wish the aisles would be more spacious. Service was good, staff was helpful even though they didn't have what I was looking for. I ended up buying other stuff that I didn't really need but wanted instead. A spray bottle for my makeup brushes cleanser, a little case holder for my fake eyelashes (super cute by the way), and a double nail file that I have yet to try. Oh and my sister went with me so she also got some chips; ALL under $7. Consider me a happy loyal customer from this store. Love the quality and price of the product. read more

Lots of good stuff for $1.50. Some items are more than $1.50, but it will list the higher price if so. The stuff is decent quality. Not everything is a winner. I loved the dish sponges, but the stamper to black out addresses was a bust. When I used it, it barely looks like the ink is running out. A few other items I got were a good value. The lingerie bags I got were great. I definitely want to go back and buy more things. Great place to wander the aisles and look at things to buy! read more

Daiso has way to many different items to possibly list in this review. It IS a must visit if you like trinkets, needs storage containers, stationary items, etc. Most of the items are $1.50. There are some other prices, like $2, $3, $5, but it will be noted on the item if so. I admit, this place makes me giddy inside. I'm a pretty impatient shopper, but at Daiso, I definitely spend the time to peruse the aisles. This location is fairly big and spacious. It doesn't seem to busy, which is nice. Take my word for it, GO! read more

The parking sucks big time at this location. It feels smaller than the other daisos I've been to. It gets crowded very fast due to all the students. Would love to see more variety here. They are usually well stocked. I wouldn't come here though unless I really absolutely had no other choice. They definitely need a bigger parking lot. Don't get it confused with the 99 cent store next door. read more

Love love loveeeee this place!!!! They have everything for sooo cheap! Just about everything is $1.50 I go at least once a week to see what's new ! Super convenient being down the street from East LA college ! Thanks for this store !! read more

LOVE this Daiso because it's not as crowded as the other locations and the aisles are actually wide enough for carts! Also, they seem to carry more stuff than the one at Atlantic Square. I end up buying whatever I needed plus 10+ more items but for 1.50, you can't go wrong! Happy shopping! read more

Its a really cute store, has your basic home appliances. I didnt like how they only more selections for small dogs than larger ones. It's really entertaining if you have time in between classes since ELAC is right in back of it. Enjoyed looking around but didnt buy anything. I rather go to other similar stores that are more authentic in Torrance. read more

I love it !! So many cute stuff from Japan Employee treat you good everything is calm, neat and nice. I love it read more

I love this store I believe they have so much stuff I've only been to the one in Lakewood and this one and I feel like this store has way more stuff Disney and molds little Disney stuff than the other ones read more

Maybe I went on an off day but this Daiso seems very sparsely stocked. The staff were generally nice and quick. If you're nearby it's fine to stop at but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this Daiso. read more

Daiso is good for cheap stuff but it is a terrible place to be shopping in the summer. It felt like a sauna in there because they had no air conditioning. I don't see how their employees deal with it but I'm not going back anytime soon because it's way too hot to shop there in the summer. read more

This location is a lot smaller than other Daiso's & carry a lot less variety of snacks. The selection is actually surprisingly limited. So if you come here for snacks, expect to be disappointed. From the outside the store seemed a lot bigger than it is - it's actually probably half the size of the Valley Blvd or Rosemead Blvd locations. Otherwise, it's a good place to come for your everyday convenience store needs. The store front is clean and cashiers are friendly, standard things. read more

My daughter loved this store. Much to see and buy. Will be returning soon. Many school supplies to stock up.

TWO DAISO LOCATIONS IN MONTEREY PARK?! Now that's just straight up madness. The new South Atlantic Daiso location is way less crowded than the Atlantic time square location, the aisles are more spacious, there is a larger variety of items, and even the parking is a lot easier! Just show some restraint so you don't end up spending over $40 on 20+ items you may or may not ever use haha. The 99 cent store next door has some serious competition now with this powerhouse discount store in such close proximity. Tip: There's a $10 minimum for credit card purchases. All sales are final as well. read more

I love daiso, more than I love a lot of things. But this store in particular really stood out from the rest. I called to see if they had a product I was looking for, after searching numerous stores and driving all over la, a kind gal named JENNIFER assisted me on the phone from this store. She helped me place a special order and I got my items in bulk 3 days later. She was the only daiso employee to offer special order and actually take care of it. Thank you so much for taking care of me and being so kind. This is the best customer service from daiso this loyal follower has ever seen. Thanks jennifer!! read more

I really like this discount store!! Pretty much everything is $1.50! So many cute items and everyday items you'll need for your home. I actually got my iPhone 6 screen protector there and so far, so good! You should definitely check this place out! read more

Cus I work here so it deserves 5 stars. Muahahaha hi Ann and all my fellow coworkers here! :)

It has a great selection things from stationary to great snacks. The employees are really nice. The only bad side is that you never leave empty handles read more

This place is dope, most of the qualities of their products are great for the bargain. The only con is NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE. AVOID buying their towel stuffs, it shed like nuts, the led got to all my laundry, is so annoying. read more

2nd location in Monterey Park! Only this Daiso is 2 times bigger than the one in the Atlantic Times Square and has more things to buy. If you can't find the things you want in the small Daiso, don't worry cuz you will definitely find them in the big one. Thumbs up! read more

This Daiso is really neat and organized compared to other stores. It's spacious, has a lot of variety, and not as crowded. I try not to buy the items I don't need, but it almost never works out and I always find myself getting many things EXCEPT for what I intended to get. read more

So I went for the first time at this location. What can I say well not everything is under $1.50 I was very disappointed in this matter. Yeah the parking is hectic but it has its bad days and good days. I was thinking that maybe al try some other Daiso Japan store. read more

I was purchasing $81 dollars of stuff and was trying to pay with a $100 dollar bill because that's all I had to pay and they did not accept $100 dollar bills really I spent about an hour shopping with my kids and they didn't accept it. So I had to leave everything it's ridiculous that my total was close to a $100 my change would have been less then $20 read more

First time at this location n definitely fell in love! - Much easier parking than the one in Atlantic Time Square - Less crowded - Very organized!!!!! - Spacious and you can actually take your time viewing the items Minimum $10 for credit card purchase!!! read more

Love this store, highly recommended for all little things for the house. The price makes it even more worth it to buy things from here. Quality of the products are mostly good but there r those few things that are cheap qualitied.. Just be smart with what ur buying. read more

oh Japan, I love you. always coming out with the wackyness.

This store is cheap and of course, everything is $1.50 except for bigger / better quality items, also everything is final sale. Although they don't have as much of a variety as other stores around the 626, it's in a good location. The cashiers are nice! read more

love Love LOVE this place. From snacks to cosmetics to stationary to mobile accessories to massagers to umbrellas to organizers to dishes to wallets and even better...knick knacks! They have good quality items at great prices. They have so many different things, you never leave empty handed. Some of their stuff is very unique but interesting to the point you have to buy it to try it out. After all, almost everything is $1.50! You just can't go wrong. Another big plus, the store is EXTREMELY clean, bright and well maintained. read more

just like target! you go in for 1 thing and 1 thing only and come out with more then you intended to buy! I LOVE DAISO!

One of many locations I have visited. Some are smaller or larger than others so you will find a slight differences in merchandise but so far the price is at $1.50 and up but mostly $1.50. Most of the items are from Japan and some made in China. They're a bit different from a Dollar Tree or 99 Cent Only store but I love them all :-). There isn't ANY exchange or returns so be sure you really want to purchase the item. Make sure you read/view the illustrations well for measurements and so forth as most is written in Japanese. However, the illustrations are wonderful. Lol I made a mistake of buying a toilet seat cover for the style "U" of the public restrooms thinking it was the full circle for my home BLAH ( remember no exchange/returns) so I'm stuck with it and a loss of $1.50. Overall, you'll love the product. Especially the bentos type of containers. read more

Love it. This store is less crowded than the one off 500 Atlantic time square by the 10. The size of the store is a bit smaller but there are still tons of stuff for you to go through for only 1.50!! read more

this daiso is really cramped, real estate isn't that great so the aisles are really narrow and seeing as how this is monterey park, it's always packed read more
