It shocked me at first to see a random ice cream store inside of an antique store but at the other day I was excited because I was a little hungry and who can argue with ice cream on a hot day. So me and my sister got ice cream from here, I went with the strawberry cheesecake, and she went with chocolate. I was shocked on how delicious this was. I was not expecting it at all, but the ice cream was phenomenal. The two old ladies who ran this place were very friendly and even offered samples if we want to try them. But I didn't get any samples just because the strawberry cheesecake sounded so delicious and I knew I wanted it. My sister did try a couple samples and at the end she picks the ones you like the most. I'm definitely going to make a trip back out here not just for the antiques anymore but for the ice cream. Next time I might try something different on their menu because they also did have sandwiches and other items that sounded interesting. To me this place is definitely worth the drive every time now.

No soft serve ice cream but they had a lot of different ice cream flavors from Hersey's. They also had smoothies. Some ice cream flavors I have not seen before either. They make their own waffle cones as well. My issue was the toppings. Toppings were .65 cents and I got a single scope in a cup. Two options of m&m's with either crushed or whole candies. Looking back on it now I should have went with the crushed because the girl struggled with putting the whole m&m's on the ice cream. She did make me aware that the whole m&m's were an assortment, meaning there might be peanut m&m's. I was disappointed that I only had a little over a dozen or so m&m's and they had to be stuck into the ice cream by the server. The ice cream tasted fine and nothing great. Some of the m&m's were mint and it was gross - I just wanted regular candies, not mint. If I wanted mint then I would have gotten mint ice cream - I sound like a major complainer! The fresh squeezed lemonade, which comes in several flavors, is what lemonade should taste like, not overly sweet but very refreshing and light. As we're making our way through the menu after many visits already, here are some of our highlights: "Frankie" Hot Dog - jumbo hot dog topped with brown sugar bacon, homemade coleslaw, crushed chips, scallions, and apple butter...yes apple butter and trust me it's literally a perfect compliment to the rest of the ingredients. The staff are always friendly, they kindly explain all the prices and any other questions that we have. We were told where to wait for the ride/tractor to the apple field. Didn't take long at all! The driver that day was the sweetest lady! She was informative and told us which apple was her favorite and what to look out for. Going to any orchard can be pricey but Westview is worth it! They keep this place tidy and fun for all visitors.. already made plans with a few other friends so I'll will be back in a few days (they also have best cornmaze btw). Highly recommend Westview!

They had a chance to feed the animals, but I did not get much time over there this time. They loved the very large slide. There is a hay bale for the kids to jump around, but the images online look like it might be several tiers, but on this day it was only two and the kids told me there were a lot of hole. The tractor ride was fun. Since it is summer, I did not see anything to pick yet, but it looked like they will have a bunch for fruits and vegetables in the fall. There is a large area for the kids to have lunch, some of it was covered. I did not have a chance to check out the store, wine section, or anything outside the kid area. I did not try any cider, but we had cinnamon sugar donuts. I only had one bite and gave the rest to my child, but it was very delicious and fairly large. It tasted nice and fresh. I wonder if the donuts are this large in the fall. There was an outdoor concession stand. They sold drinks and treats, the turnovers looked delicious. My child got a cider/ blue raspberry slush, it was a very hot day so it was good they sold them. I liked that they had real bathrooms with running water. But I wish they had a better water filling station for the kids. They were getting very hot and the only places to fill their water was the bathroom sink or next to the animals and they were not excited about either of those options. Plus, the kids were very little, so they did not have money from home to buy cold waters. The people working here seemed nice and seemed to have experience with fieldtrips with little kids. First of all, let me just say that my kids LOVE Culver's ice cream and we've been getting it for years now, a few times a week. So we were so happy to see a location open right down the street from us. So with that being said, my son likes his caramel on the side of the concrete mixer, not mixed in because they add too much and it's too sweet for him, so we've order it like that for as long as I can remember at all other locations for years with no problems. Here however they always insist on charging me $0.70 for the caramel at this location. EVEN THO the concrete mixer comes with 2 topping, I only get one and I'm being charged for it! And even so! After I paid a few times for it on the side they still mixed it in. Today however I tried reasoning with the lady why I'm being charged for it?!? And she said oh I understand we'll put it on the side and you won't be charged...lol I wasn't charged but it was also not on the side. What's the big deal! I don't understand why it's so hard to give the customer ONE topping not two, but on the side of the ice cream. And not only that but waiting 18 minutes for a mini concrete mixer is overkill! We'll give this place a few month to get their things in order, and we'll go back to our usual DQ. Maybe we'll come back and give it another try but seriously, just a disappointment
