Haven't visited this location in years. Pull into drive way next to building. Ample parking available. Service was friendly and welcoming. Walk up order window, small bleacher benches on side of building to hang out. Right off Magnolia just look for the DQ sign. The New York cheesecake blizzard was so good! Graham cracker crust, strawberries and chunks of cheesecake. Perfect combination.

Nothing difficult about serving icecream in a cup and adding a M&Ms topping!!!
    Dan P.

Came in on Saturday 4/4/26 and asked the young lady at the cash register that I wanted a vanilla icecream in a cup with a M&M topping . She said I'm sorry we can't do that . I was in a disbelief as I have ordered this for the past 20 years any time I come to Dairy Queen, she explained it's against her policy and in no matter tried to help or resolve my request . I continued to explain to her that what I am asking for is very straight forward and simple nothing hard about serving vanilla icecream and adding M&ms on it ? She then told me she do a blizzard and I told her no I don't want the M&ms mixed in . She was completely unhelpful and knew she made no sense . This place gas no customer service skills and apparently adding a topping is to much work for them . Complete waist of time! So I left and went to the other Dairy Queen on California street . They were able to help me out no problem . This location on Magnolia looks disgusting old small and gross . Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 5 min for a much better Dairy Queen experience! MAGNOLIA STORE NEEDS BETTER WORKERS WHO WANT TO HELP CUSTOMERS WHO WANT TO ENJOY ICECREAM. I would rate my experience a Zero!!! Terrible experience. Thank GOD the other location has real workers who care about customer satisfaction! Please enjoy the photo I have attached of my delicious icecream with M&Ms ! I recommend this style is worth a try ! Just make sure not to ask for it at the Magnolia location because they can't do it !

Xiomara was absolutely amazing. She served us with a smile and gave us wonderful suggestions. My caramel sundae was perfect, and the ambiance was wonderful.

Americana and once ubiquitous with spring to fall, at least in Michigan, DQ can be found in many cities and sometimes along rural highways (Magnolia in Riverside is part of Historic Route 395). This location is open year around though and only serves ice cream and beverages. It's a popular spot and appeals to families enough to almost always have a longish line waiting to order during hours of operation. Aside from occasional new or promotional items the menu here is fairly orthodox. Diverse with options, something new has occurred though, I overhead an employee telling a kid ahead of me in line that for his Sundae whipped cream and nuts are separate charges now. I loved their soft serve ice cream as a kid and it's practically the same today, but here's to mass appeal and relative simplicity!

I was excited to try the cookie crunch then it was sold out but great customer service! Hopefully next time I can try it.

    $2 Mango misty freeze....tastes like a smoothie!
    Tosha L.

The misty freeze is so good....to me, it tastes like a smoothie. It sounds kind of hesitant to try, when you think of a slushie mixed with ice cream. I had a deal to get any size for $2, so I couldn't pass that up. Even if I didn't like it, at least I wouldn't have spent too much money on it. Not knowing if I'd enjoy it or not, I decided to get a Large, I mean, may as well, it was going be the same price for any size regardless. I ordered the mango one and it was so good and tropical tasting. I relieved to have it taste like a smoothie, because I couldn't imagine for the life of me, what it could possibly taste like.

I rarely come to this location because it's always so crowded. I stopped by today around 9 pm for some ice cream. I used the deal in my app for $1 small dipped cone. The cone was good, but not worth the 20 minutes I had to wait to get a $1 discount on it. At least other people were waiting in line for blizzards & shakes. The problem is the other location is much further away. It's not worth driving so far and this location has the worst service. There were 4 workers, but it still seemed incredibly slow. They need to learn how to run an assembly line and work more efficiently. Now, I see why they don't take online orders, because they can barely handle the walk in orders. Go to another Dairy Queen location.

    15 deep in line!

We came by this location last night after having sushi down the street! This is one of their original location in a old building that has been updated with better electricity! The line is long but goes by fast! It's all about the ice cream! You just need to try it and then you'll be hooked!

YAY! Idk if the last girl left but allergy accommodation was awesome this time around!! Whoever the cashier was that tended between 9pm-10pm on 5/17 on the right register deserves some recognition bec she provided a great service without any hassle. We greatly appreciated it On a side note yeah it's gonna be busy what did people expect is the closest one in riverside LOL I don't think they can go any faster, everyone and their mothers comes here, give them a break or go somewhere else LMAO.

The truffle fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great shareable side. Service was the one downside. It was not very attentive, and we waited longer than expected for check-ins and refills. My ordered double dipped Big Beef Sandwich with Sweet Bell Peppers, melted Mozzarella Cheese, and Giardiniera was enormous, and after initially having my breath knocked away by the Giardiniera's overwhelming spiciness, my intestines soon settled down and I greatly enjoyed the melting concoction. The hoagie roll supporting this mammoth edifice of tender roast beef and embellishments nicely sopped up the au jus, and sank under the heat. The Chicago Dog that accompanied the Big Beef was a classic all-beef Hot Dog with a snap, rounded out with Emerald Green Relish, White Onions, Sport Peppers, and Yellow Mustard. For purists no ketchup is allowed on Chicago Dogs! Crinkle-cut French Fries added to my enjoyment of the meal. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the atmosphere. I ordered the chili dog and fries, and for the price, I expected much better. The chili was thin and watery, lacking the hearty, meaty flavor you'd expect. It tasted more like a budget canned chili than something made fresh in-house. The hot dog itself was just okay--nothing memorable and certainly not something I would return for. Given my experience, I'm surprised by the current four-star rating. The restaurant looks great, but the food didn't match the presentation or the hype. I would recommend managing expectations before visiting. In my opinion, it's simply not as good as it looks.

The omelette was good enough, but I have to be completely honest about the hash browns they were very bland and lacked seasoning. The texture was fine, but I would suggest adding some seasoning during cooking. I think that small change could make them much more appealing to customers. One thing that confused me was the ordering process. When I placed my order in the drive-thru, the employee asked what style of eggs I wanted with my omelette. Since an omelette is already a specific style of egg preparation, I wasn't sure what she meant. Then, when I got to the window, I was asked whether I wanted pickles from a breakfast burrito and whether I wanted potatoes again. I'm not sure if there was some confusion with my order or if they were joking around, but I didn't make an issue out of it. Now that I've finished my breakfast, I'd rate it about a 6 out of 10. That said, I come here often, and there is one item that keeps me coming back: the zucchini. Their zucchini with ranch is an automatic 10 out of 10. In my opinion, it's probably the best thing on the menu, and I highly recommend trying it if you visit. Overall, the breakfast was okay, but the zucchini is definitely the star of the show. The roast beef sandwich was a real disappointment. The meat was very fatty and had a lot of hard gristle. I pretty much had to take the sandwich apart and pull off the objectionable bits which were about 1/5 of the total weight of the meat. The meat flavor was bland and really needed all of the sauces. The bun was kind of smashed and gummy but held together. Sorry to say, but for me, Lucky Greek just isn't worth going to anymore.
