This has to be one of the most inconvenient and slowest DQs ever. I've been standing online for 10 minutes just trying to buy a cake from the freezer. The line is to the door and there is one poor teenager working. He's busting his rump, but obviously management does not care about having enough coverage to help him out (why do you only have 1 person working anyway? That's incredibly unsafe) or for customers to get through the line before their ice cream melts. This Dairy Queen is consistently this way. In addition, once we finally got home with the cake, there was hardly any visible fudge and crunchies aka the BEST part. Highly disappointed. read more

I went to the store on the afternoon of July 23rd and I ordered a snickers blizzard. The person who served my order, an older gentleman, didn't wear a face mask, nor did he wore gloves. We are in the middle of a pandemic people are dying I feel it is very arrogant and selfish for any person working behind the Dairy Queen counter to not observe, practice and comply with all of the COVID 19 precautions. He prepared my order with no gloves and no face mask, he touched my cup and the spoon. As I walked out the store with it in my hand I simple tossed it away. I understand businesses want to get back to normal, but the businesses or at least the people they employ must be aware of their activities while serving customers during an unresolved pandemic. read more

Less than one star is all this place deserves. Ditto to all the reviews who have said that the Manager/Owner is rude. Will always support businesses who treat their customers like they care about them and want them to return. This is not one of those businesses. How can you go wrong with an ice cream place? Some bad reviews for this place confuse me. I work near-by so I am in here a decent amount. I know it is owned by 2 brothers so maybe it depends on which brother you're seeing but the 1 that I see there the most is always happy and doing stuff in the community. Like if you're in there often enough you will see all sorts of signs up for different charity events in the area, pancake breakfast or just different stuff. He's an all around happy guy. Ice cream is good. They always have high school age kids working in there and never a problem with them, always polite. It's clean looking inside and as yummy as any Dairy Queen can be! read more

I used to looove going to this spot growing up. I decided to try It again after a few years. One thing I hate about Dairy Queen is that there's no real consistency. I feel like each time you go to the DQ your drink taste different. Anyway, I don't like ice cream, weird i know so I always get the arctic rush. Sometimes it's too sweet, sometimes it's perfect. Depends which is kind of annoying because you want to come expecting the same great taste. The location is pretty small, and it's usually decently clean. The tables could stand to be cleaned a little more often. I hear the owner is kinda rude which I haven't had the pleasure of meeting but I'll take others word for it. Either way, if you want sweet treat, it's worth trying. The costs aren't too high . read more

Update: Great cake experience, we'll be back! I haven't experienced any of these complaints, so I felt compelled to write about our experiences. We have come on VERY busy days and found the owner to be very friendly. We found some customers to be a little hyper waiting but it was the one guy working, geez cut him a break. My Hubby and toddler are always happy with their Blizzards and our toddler loves that he always does the upside down challenge - she thinks it's magic. Does this sound like a cranky guy? Nope. I love a good dipped cone, I typically go with butterscotch but I love that this location has cherry, this is hard to find where I grew up. We'll be back, probably for a cake next. read more

So the store is clean,the service is quick and the product is great but the whole experience every time we go in here is uncomfortable to say the least. These kids work hard and are very polite to the customers but the owner seems to be lacking people skills...mostly with his employees. I understand that you have to run a tight ship when you own a business but to constantly talk down to your staff and correct them in front of the customers is very unprofessional and makes it very uncomfortable for the customers. Make sure you ask them to check if a cone paper fell of the previous cone. After bringing this to the attention of the person in charge he was less than helpful. It's just something they let happen and quality control isn't a top priority. He pissed me off i swore at him and got my refund. Not once did he show any remorse for his staff not having the wherewithal to visually look for a bright white and blue paper wrapper inside a cone while looking right at it, while pouring ice cream into the cone. Of course i didn't notice it due to the staff member over filling the cone in the first place. I can't blame the kid working but i can blame his boss for being inept at training. read more

We have been to this location a number of times and the owner is usually rude and condescending. We went there this evening and had yet another unpleasant experience! After reading his COVID instructions of only 3 groups of people at a time (with a total max. of 10 people) in his store, we assessed the situation. We looked through the window and saw what we believed to be 2 groups of 3 people total, so we entered the store. Upon entering , we heard the owner tell one customer (in a loud voice) some people don't read the sign!" I guess the 2 people we thought we together as one group were actually separate. How were we to know that? We were so offended by his comment that we decided to leave and go to Culver's. As we were leaving our daughter heard the owner say out loud, "You don't deserve my business." The owner didn't need to be so rude. It's amazing that he has any customers at all. I'm not sure why Dairy Queen allows him to stay in business after reading all of his bad reviews. We will NOT be returning to his Dairy Queen ever again.
