Regular peanut buster parfait (on left) and chocolate with caramel peanut buster parfait

A very generous Dairy Queen, you get very large servings compared to the Packard location. I took a tip from another Yelp Eliter and got the peanut buster parfait as chocolate with caramel instead of vanilla with chocolate. This concoction was rich, melty (chocolate melts faster than vanilla) and amazing but I don't think I could eat more than one of these per summer! See pics. They also do a nice pup cup for the doggies complete with a dog biscuit in it. Worth driving past 2 other Dairy Queens to go to. Covid rules are followed as they should be (it's Ann Arbor! We like to use our brains here!). Parking is only OK but turnaround is quick and painless. EZ on and off from the highway.

Well, this is a Dairy Queen so it's everything you'd expect a DQ to be. I have always had good, friendly, quick service and it's an awesome place for dog watching! We like to take our pup as there's always at least one other dog there. There are often crowds on summer evenings, but the line always moves quick. My only thing is that the parking lot/Stadium traffic situation is a minor nightmare. The lot is super small and you often have to slow way down or stop completely to get in, which creates dangerous back-ups right next to a busy intersection. My advice? Use the side street just north of the "real" entrance and park in the large, always empty lot for an office building a half-block back. Much easier!

The side if dq is more chill than the front. I hate eating ice cream in front of a line of people who are waiting for ice cream.

I was in the neighborhood as I was conducting some business at the University of Michigan. It's pretty much a very small old house converted into an ordering counter and kitchen behind. When you come in, you are expected to have your order ready to spit out without any hesitation or you get cursed and screamed at by the person at the counter. I had read that this was their modus operandi so I wasn't shocked! The burger was cooked on a flat top that was well loved. As I really wasn't sure of the condiments they offered. I just told them to load it up. My Burger came with a nice toasted bun-it had a freshly made burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. It was very tasty. Krazy Jim doesn't do any advertising, but there were an abundance of college students waiting in line to order their burger. It feels to me like he is a legend of sorts as is the Blimpie Burger. I'm glad we arrived when we did as there was only a short line. Next time you're in Ann Arbor, Michigan, check it out. You won't regret it.

The burger was fine - the patties are very small so would recommend getting 2 at least. Would recommend looking at the website for how to order prior to going, because otherwise the service experience might be a little stressful/uncomfortable.

This is a super cute spot that specializes in smoked meat and sausages... yes please. We ordered at the counter and the employees were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions. I got the Michigan asparagus, onion, and cheddar brat, and Nate got the currywurst. We also got a cup of chili to share. We got a buzzer for our order and then sat down in the heated outdoor space. They have a lot of outdoor seating and some firepits, so I really want to come back in the fall or summer. Our food was done quickly and we had fun picking stuff from the toppings bar. They had chopped onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, sauerkraut etc. and lots of sauces. I LOVED the brat. It was easy to bite and not super snappy which I didn't mind. The bun was perfectly toasted and the flavor combination was delicious. Kind of like a broccoli cheddar vibe. I had some of the currywurst which was also delicious! The chili was packed with brisket and pulled pork, and was really tasty. There is a bar so you can enjoy a beer with your sausage, but we just grabbed some cold drinks from the cooler. They even have ice cream and floats!! There are lots of great items for sale as well, including lots of pickled things, frozen pierogi, meat sticks and jerky, and they even have Trenary Toast (#iykyk). I am already planning my next visit to try more brats and the brisket sandwich. This is such a great concept and I really wish we had a place like this in Grand Rapids.
