Bready, briochy taste to the donut, with no sweetness (neither plus nor minus), letting the toppings and fillings handle that. Plenty of yellow vanilla pudding inside (a plus for quantity). No seating inside (a minus) but a single metal table outside that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks (big minus). Filled with pollen. I do like the selection (big plus) and the crazy flavors will appeal to a wide range of tastes, but there are places where you can still get a fresh donut and sometimes even a warm one. Rocco's doesn't seem to be one of them. Not bad by any means but not screaming out for a revisit.

We are so pleased to have a new delicious favorite in the area for next time! The green tea was hot and warmed us right up, and we were offered refills which we appreciate! The miso soup and pork dumpling soup were both delicious, the house salad with ginger dressing was plentiful (so we shared it), and all of our salmon sushi was so fresh and delicious, with generous thick slices of sashimi that was buttery and so good! My husband had been cold so also got the drunken noodles with beef which he thoroughly enjoyed and had plenty of leftovers after helping me with the sushi. Red bean mochi is a favorite that we hardly ever can find back home, so we were thrilled to get to have it for dessert. Lovely staff and a very calm, beautiful and clean restaurant. The menu was exactly what the name advertised, with extensive options for affordable south Indian street food dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food came super quick. We got a few of the house sodas, a chaat sampler combo, and a lentil curry with fried bread. The fried potatoes were so perfectly spiced I asked for a few more to take home for the rest of my household. I'm sad we live 2 hours away, cause a friendly person picking up food told us they do a buffet on Thursday nights that I will have to come back for some time. If you're there not on Thursday definitely get the combos, great bang for buck for trying a bunch of stuff. All and all an excellent meal for a great price.
