We got an order of fried shrimp that was excellent with some delicious cocktail sauce. Service from Mary was very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. While the building is dated, it is authentic and was a joy to visit. My friend was well prepared with cash as it is a cash-only establishment.

No seating inside (a minus) but a single metal table outside that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks (big minus). Filled with pollen. I do like the selection (big plus) and the crazy flavors will appeal to a wide range of tastes, but there are places where you can still get a fresh donut and sometimes even a warm one. The fried potatoes were so perfectly spiced I asked for a few more to take home for the rest of my household. I'm sad we live 2 hours away, cause a friendly person picking up food told us they do a buffet on Thursday nights that I will have to come back for some time. This is neither good or bad but felt like an inconsistency to me. The meal was relatively cheap about $13 in total but that's not enough for me to make a second visit.
