    BUTTERFINGER BLIZZARD Treat

got a mini butterfinger blizzard, love butterfinger and vanilla so good. did ask for a medium but mini's all i needed anyway and it was pretty loud in there, i'm sure that i would've gotten a remake if i asked, very fast service. i'm happy with it :)

This dairy queen is a family owned and operated Dairy Queen which I support small businesses and especially family around businesses. Fast service, great people I can't complain about anything about this place it was clean. It was just a great experience. The reason why it was a great experience, because while I was standing in line waiting for this peanut cluster blizzard, I thought of my childhood every day summer my dad had off because he was a teacher. One day a week during the summer my dad and I would stop at Dairy Queen and get a blizzard or an ice cream cone, back then when you got a blizzard, they would flip the blizzard up in the air and make all these funny tricks with the blazer to show that it would not spill out of the cup. So while I was waiting in line for this blizzard, I was wondering if this guy was going to do that And as I was going to pick up the blizzard he flipped it up in the air and it did not fall out. Memories also can make a restaurant amazing plus like I said it's family owned and I can't complain the blizzard. It was good. The service is great place is clean go check it out. Tell them I said hi.

*imagining what my dog must have thought, in his words* Vanilla cone was sooo good! Wish I could eat it dipped in chocolate but that will not be good. PSA friends, don't eat any chocolate or raisins, it can kill you! My favorite part was when my hooman bought it for me, then gave it to me and we ate it outside. The ice cream as soft and creamy, and I ate all the way down to the cone. Until our next adventure! Woof woof!!

I made a recent lunchtime visit to this Chick-fil-A (Madison, Wisconsin). As I approached this…read morebusiness, I was pleased to see the cleanliness of the premises along with the freshness and newness of the infrastructure. On a special note, I greatly respect any business that can proudly and prominently display the American flag - these businesses always earn bonus points with me. The drive-thru here appeared to be well-maintained and operating smoothly; however, I decided to dine inside with my fellow Chick-fil-A fanatics. There was a fairly short line when I stepped inside, so I had a couple of minutes to browse through the well-displayed menu to decide what I wanted for lunch. I ordered the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Deluxe meal, with criss-cut fries and a Dr. Pepper. The young lady taking my order was friendly and professional. And, I guess it's been a while since I came to a Chick-fil-A because I forgot how many different sauces they have. The young lady asked what sauces I'd like with my meal, and I naively responded that I would like one of each. Well, without hesitation, she did in fact give me one of each of the sauces they have, all eleven! On a side note, this is one of the things I like about Chick-fil-A over McDonald's. Chick-fil-A (or at least this location) does not charge you for sauces, and I find that most McDonald's locations nowadays charge you for any sauces beyond some ridiculously low number. My entire meal was fresh and delicious. My chicken deluxe sandwich was picture-worthy, and the chicken inside it was cooked perfectly. The fries were cooked perfectly as well so that they were golden brown and lightly crunchy on the outside. I also enjoyed eating my meal while having the dine-in experience, which is rare for me at a fast-food restaurant. Additionally, dining inside was a nice escape from the summer heat, and a better option than eating in the confined space of my car. While inside, I was also pleased to see several Chick-fil-A employees cleaning the dining area so that new customers could enjoy a clean environment as well. They were hardworking, and doing a great job of keeping the dining area clean. Overall, I could not have imagined a better experience while having my lunch here. This Chick-fil-A earned a well-deserved 5-star rating from me.

It looked pretty popular with a decent number of people dining in and a bunch of others picking up orders. The girl at the counter was super friendly and helpful because I had no idea how to order lol. She made a few recommendations and even helped adjust my random items into a combo for us. Prices are fair, ordered 3 meats and 2 sides for like ~$50. We got ribs, brisket, and pulled pork along with cornbread and mac and cheese, and it came with a fountain drink. Food came out pretty quickly, we didn't have to wait long. One thing I thought was fun was the bell by the door that you can ring if you had a good experience. We rang it on the way out and got a bunch of cheers from inside haha. The ribs were big, meaty, and cooked well. The brisket wasn't really my favorite, and the pulled pork was a little hit or miss since some bites were way saltier than others. We tried both the mild and spicy bbq sauces, and the spicy wasn't too spicy. Overall, a perfectly solid casual bbq spot.

Honestly, a solid BBQ option on the west side of Madison. I can tell I don't get out much anymore…read morewith how shocked I am by lunch prices. Not just here, but everywhere, really. I think my pulled pork sandwich, two sides (cole slaw and fries) and a drink pushed $17. That's more than I prefer to spend on lunch, but I was going out with some work friends and felt like treating myself. And it was, indeed, a treat! The pulled pork was very good - not overly fatty or anything. Good flavor. I tried the "original" and "sweet city" sauces - both were very good and not overpowering. The fries were good - a little greasy (but "good greasy" if there is such a thing). The creamy cole slaw confused me. It was a bit dry. I know, right? How is creamy cole slaw dry? I'm not sure if it's always like this, or maybe it was off the top of the batch and the "creamy" and dripped to lower parts. Don't get me wrong - it tasted good. We'll see how it is next time I'm there! Overall, a good BBQ stop. The pulled pork sandwich will be a standard order there, but I'm sure I'll venture out to some other dishes to see what they have to offer!
