My first time... no complaints! My daughter loves DQ... sheesh!! Well when I can I warrant her a visit here for a cotton candy blizzard. I am so glad they offer a mini size and not just 'small' - FYI a mini size is just enough... portion control! I benefit from her visit by redeeming the coupon code to receive a free dilly bar! Many years ago, I used to get the cherry dip cone so this was a bit of nostalgia for me. So I guess it's not so bad, but if you can limit dairy :) Nevertheless, this location is located on the always busy Battlefield Blvd. It is also near a bridge that seems to go up at least five times a day. Well on this day in particular, an early Saturday afternoon, there was no wait in line and the staff was super friendly and prepared our order within a minute. There were others dining and a few others came in after us so it seems like this location does get steady business. The ice cream is super soft, not my favorite, but my daughter sure enjoys it! The cherry dilly bar, that's my favorite. I actually prefer the dipped ice cream over the soft ice cream (blizzard). They offer ice cream cake and other desserts that may be to your liking. We had an electronic coupon offered by Capital One for a buy one Blizzard and get one of equal or lesser value free. We placed our order and showed our coupon. The teen cashier deferred to his manager. The manager rudely stated the coupon must be printed. We tried to explain to her that it did not state that but she abruptly stated it is printed right there in the coupon. I've attached a photo of what we were trying to use which clearly does not show anywhere that it had to be printed. Hubby got an apple pie blizzard which was very yummy!..and I'm not at all a blizzard lover. Our son just had a small cup of soft serve vanilla ice cream, can't go wrong with that. We go to this DQ quite frequently and every time we've had a good experience and got great food and desserts. The funnel cake and cookie A La Modes are great, the royal blizzards are too! I'm only giving this an extra star because Jacob, along with a couple other staff members were really nice. Alex....Alec...whatever his name is was extremely rude. Made a simple situation of ordering extremely stressful and rudely, basically forcing us to "move out of the way so he can help someone else" yes I understand you need to help customers in a timely manner. That's when you use manners and ask politely and don't tell someone to get out of the way. It was so rude and shocking I grabbed my stuff in a hurry and didn't even get my credit card back from the register. They had to come and give me my card afterwards because I was forced away before my transaction was even complete. NOT TO MENTION the reason I was in his way was because I was donating to charity. Worst. Location. Ever. I placed an order here for a birthday cake and got a confirmation via email. I even called to verify it would be ready and was told it was. Arrived the day of pick up and they acted as if they had no idea what order I was talking about. I even double checked to make sure I ordered it at the right location, it was. I then showed the receipt on my phone and the girl laughed saying "oops." I found this to be ridiculously disrespectful and rude. I then proceeded to ask how long until it would be ready..
