Definitely one of the better DQs I've visited. People were nice and worked quick which typically isn't the case. Especially late at night. Restaurant was very clean, food was great! Would recommend this location! read more

This is the worst run ice cream shop I've ever seen. Stopped in with my family as we were passing by. Son had a kid's meal and spouse and I i just got ice cream, and one soda. Asked for no ice in the soda since I have very sensitive teeth. Appalled by the fact that they added a 50 cent charge, which is ridiculous, and it wasn't disclosed until after I paid the bill and saw the receipt. My blizzard was only about 80% full, and I could barely identify any of the oreo pieces. So the owner thinks they're going to save a few pennies by cutting corners on things like cheaping out on the toppings, or upcharging for no reason. Well guess what?... when you have as many bad (and very justified) reviews as you do, it's going to cost you in lost business as you won't have as many customers. read more

Dairy Queen is about as average as it comes. Something I have noticed over the last couple years is the lack of customer service. I don't know if they are just underpaid or overworked or both, but any DQ I go in it is a very unfriendly environment. It is almost of the equivalent of going to a sketchy gas station on the wrong side of town. Not to mention the wait times to get a blizzard. I am only giving DQ three stars because the ice cream never tastes bad, but never tastes great. read more

I came here on a Sunday evening and there are 6 employees there all just looking at each other not really knowing what to do and manager on shift trying to hold it all together. I waited 25 minutes just to place my order with only 1 person infront of me upon arriving. I still love Dairy Queen but this one needs something. Manager and chef were working hard. read more

They refuse to make their shakes right. You ask them to make anything a certain way and they ignore it and make it sloppy. I'd give them no stars if I could. My advice try the one on fm 78 in Schertz. The tacos are always crispy and they make thick shakes the way they're supposed to be. read more

The lady who was taking my order was very rude she for some reason couldn't hear me at the speaker which ok fine it happens but also kept interrupting me, then she has me pull up to the window to finish my order she was very rude and is mad about what I'm ordering which is nothing crazy Just a few ice creams literally only 5 small. Then she walks away as I'm trying to tell her the last ice cream and then comes back and I tell her again what I want she then rolls her eyes and smacks her lips at me. I pay and she shuts the window all hard and also gave me the wrong ice cream the first time I'm assuming it was the persons behind me. I've usually never had an issue with this location and I've never seen this woman before she was missing a front tooth and had short black hair and was an older women. not too sure what was her issue but definitely some of the worst service I've had. read more

Food tasted fine, although I had a long string of hair in my food. I had to bring it back to the front. There were fly's all over the place and kept bugging us. Cleanliness of the place was very poor as well as the bathrooms. read more

The service was "surly" at best. I ordered blizzard frozen treats on multiple occasions. I order a LOT of Blizzards - all over the state. These first two were pretty bad. First, the cups were only about 3/4ths full. Second the candy/cookies were totally "vaporized". No occasional, satisfying crunch as they were being enjoyed. I figured it was a local thing. Next time I asked that the cups be filled more and that the Blizzards not be left on the blender so long that the goodies are pulverized. (This is the only place I EVER GOT blizzards done like this. My wishes were accommodated and they did better but not without displaying some attitude. The next night I tried one more time. Less success than night two. Open resentment. I didn't go back. Nor will I ever! Do not recommend. read more

I asked for a banana split and they only gave me ice cream in a plate. Also staff is so rude.

Instructions to haphazardly posted. The location cannot multitask. There is a line wrapped up around the building. The customer service call lacking inconvenient ,and there's a sign on the DOOR says shortage and staff... we have been to the other 2 Dairy Queen's in the area ...where there's two staff on the weekend, and it's run perfectly!! This JUST means This location, can't multitask ,and need a new manager that knows how to hire the right people and run an establishment correctly! read more

Years ago, I swore I would never return to this location. I wanted a blizzard, and I was ready to be home, so I thought I would try again. Granted, the store was very busy on a Friday night, but they were out of several ingredients. The store was dirty, and very disorganised. Never again! I will make the drive to Shertz from now on. read more

I stopped in on Sunday evening and ordered a steak finger basket meal. I sat at a booth next to a family also waiting for their meals. About 1 minute after the family received their meal one of the workers came over and took the meal they were eating back saying it was not their order. She literally snatched the food out of the child's hand. When they protested, she repeated it was not their meal and handed them a bag and they left. Another worker came to me to confirm what I ordered, then brought me a box, which I stupidly did not open. When I got to work I opened the box at my desk only to discover 4 french fries and a bite taken out of one of the steak fingers. It was then I realized that my meal had been given to the family by mistake. However, I found it appalling and quite disturbing that my meal was never inspected by the workers and I got recycled food that someone else had already started eating. I tried calling right then but no one answered the phone for about half an hour, I realize they were incredibly busy at the time, so I called the next morning. First, let me state I know the refund policy and I was not asking for a refund. I was seeking at the very least an apology and a bit of accountability. I got neither. The young man that answered the phone, was flippant and told me I should have brought it back right then. I was already at work and when I explained that he said I should have brought it back anyway. I expressed my displeasure and told him it was service like this that I would never be back to that store. He then said, "Do you promise? Please promise you won't come back." That's a promise I will keep, Dairy Queen will never have to deal with me again. read more

I stop by this Dairy Queen location on my way in from a 8 hour drive from out of town. We ordered 55$ of food and ice cream. When they brought out the food and ice cream. We ordered 2 chicken salads 2 kids meals and 4 ice creams. I seen an employee come to deliver the food from Inside after waiting 30 minutes. I went to confirm with the lady who gave us the food. "Is this for order number 11" she said yes. After a long drive we get home to find out they gave us the wrong order and wrong ice cream. So me and my wife called and called and called . No one would pick up. So we waited til the morning . Morning came and We called to discuss this issue. The manager simply would not do anything because " he couldn't believe this would happen." No help and unprofessional . I would not come and waste your money here. read more

There weren't issues with the food, except the Molatte didn't look like the coffee was well blended because you can see specks and it tasted gritty, at least that's what I hope the specks were. If I could give zero stars, I would, Food was really cold, I tried to talk to manager, she kept talking over me, I was trying to tell her about one of my burgers that didn't have cheese and she said she watched the person put the cheese on 2 of them, I ordered 3 and only 1 had cheese, she wouldn't listen, just kept talking over me. I also was telling her the fries were cold, she said my order sat under the heat lamp for 45 minutes, and that wasn't true, We only live 15 minutes from this Dairy Queen, she was the manager, I called her a liar, she said I don't lie, she just kept arguing with me. I finally realized you can't talk to someone like that, with out any customer service skills, so rude and impolite, she also blamed the weather outside for the fries being cold. She also charged.50cents for the drink with out ice. This establishment needs to hire better employees. When I called back, had to call 3 times with their phone ringing at least 20times each call and then on the 3rd time she finally answered after at least 20 rings. This is a shame because we have given this location a lot of business. Never again!!! I would like to lodge a complaint about this manager, she has no customer service skills. I stopped by this Dairy Queen on the way to Austin and ordered 2 blizzards, 1 with a not so complicated special request, I just wanted a snickers blizzard with butterfinger added,, they added butterfinger to the other blizzard. When I went in to tell them they may have mixed up my order, I was nice in saying something may have been mixed up, the manager was extremely rude and told me that since I had eaten some off of the first one she was going to give me a small instead. I was okay with this since I didn't think I would eat it all anyway, and when I told her that was okay she gave me more attitude like I was inconveniencing her. This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a Dairy Queen. I do not recommend going to this one, I would even recommend going 15 minutes out of your way to find a better one. read more

Stoped in for a quick bite to eat and we were surprised at the great service and cleanliness at the place. They were able to get our food out fast and fresh and the inside was very clean. One of the better Darry Queens I've seen. read more

Eh mediocre. I get double toppings -land it seems that they either don't ever mix it well and everything is at the top half or they half ass mix it and everything is at the top half. It happens with every order we get too not just the extra toppings ones. The Dairy Queen in Kirby did the same thing and it still happened this way so maybe it's the way they do things now. The store wasn't busy so that can't be their complaint either. Absolutely disappointed though. read more

Not sure where all these good reviews are coming from but this is actually one of the worst locations. Had I not checked my food before leaving it would have been the third time in a row that I would have been missing a taco. Their fries are never hot or fresh. Orange Julius!! Totally brings me back to the days of sneaking off my high school campus at lunch and hitting up the mall food court. DQ has several flavor varietals available - mango, strawberry banana, etc - and maybe one day I'll get around to trying those, but for now the original Orange just totally hits that memory spot. I often see the drive-thru line at this location ridiculously long, stretching out of their parking lot and wrapping into the street -never used it myself though. The youngsters at the registers inside have always been super friendly though, and fairly quick/efficient. It's not my favorite ice cream, by far, but gets the job done when my nightowl schedule precludes me from the really good stuff, or an OJ craving strikes. read more

I cannot believe what I just witnessed at DQ today, they added an extra order to our order and then when we said something about it they said they'd refund us, and we were like "we don't want the food to go to waste" and the sweet girl working there was like I'm sorry I'll refund you and we said we didn't want to waste the food and she said it's okay you can keep it. Then I'm guessing the manager came out and said "can I have it" gave us the refund and then threw it in the trash right in front of us. Me being me I took that b**** out of the trash can, that's just ridiculous man like openly wasting food when so much s*** is going on in the world right now and so many people are starving. Just moved in town, and my kids wanted some blizzards!!!!! So we walk in a lil busy but not really we ordered 3 small blizzards and sat down and waiting 4:40 pm in this time I'm noticing how pretty much the whole staff handling the mop bucket going in and out of the kitchen.... I thought it's disgusting having that dirty mop and bucket in the kitchen in the first place what's disgusting is no one is wearing gloves and you know that mop and bucket has been in the filthy bathroom plenty of times ...then they put it to the side and start making all the food I'm like really?! Well now it's 5:10 and we still have no blizzards so I go to another lady and told her "it's been 30 mins really?!" She said "oh this whole time I thought you was waiting for food" really even if I was waiting for food don't you think 30 mins is a little to long to wait!!! Then She asked well who took your order? And before she can finish asking that question....the girl who took my order jumped up and said very enthusiastically "I DID!!!!!" As if she was about to win a prize...then she says "oh I left his order receipt over here and forgot".... And what was more nervousing is that in those 30 mins the lady that took my order and the lady I complained to kept staring at me the whole time and never once asked if I needed anything or what am I waiting for so they can get it...my advice is stay away from this place very unsanitary and customer service was horrible My advice stay away !!!!!!!!!! read more
