Badlands Bar has been remodeled and the interior is bright and welcoming in a natural wood finish for very basic, hand built looking furniture. The restaurant bar is quite big and I can imagine it can get quite busy and accommodate a lot of people. It's very, very clean throughout. Forndinner, I had steak tips with fries -- I asked for medium rare and it came medium well. The meat was nothing special but it was definitely lean and and exactly what I was looking for after days of backpacking in the Badlands. The French fries were great, although next time I will try the coleslaw instead. The fat fried homemade bread was not as good as one of the servers said it would be.
