Haven't been to DQ for years. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was fresh and we loved the Oreo cookie blizzard!

I have not eaten at a DQ in over 5 years. My last DQ visit was on the south side but I stopped at a location on College Street and the burger and fries are spot on to what I remembered their quality to be. Service was excellent and the place is clean. I will be back, thank you. read more

The food is always fresh ,fast, and always exactly what I order. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have absolutely zero bad things to say about the establishment. Loveeeeeee This DQ!!!!! ONLY DQ IN SPRINGFIELD THAT IS EVEN WORTH SPENDING ANY OF MY MONEY AT!!! Highly recommend!! Staff is always very pleasant, service is fast, hot, and just like I want it!!!! Sometimes my order is a little difficult but they definitely do everything to accommodate, if the person at the window doesn't have any ideas to what I am needed a manager is always around to help with a smile. Okay seriously this is the last time I'm ever coming here! First off they are ALWAYS extremely understaffed. I don't know who the penny pincher is, or if they just have a lack of schedule capabilities; but this place usually only has 3 people working no matter what day. Secondly, you'll be lucky to get close to what you order. Today I went in and had to explain to the guy "3" times the "2" blizzards I wanted!! Final straw, the kid making my blizzards had a finger taped up that he either cut, or broke. Regardless he wasn't wearing gloves "no one does at this store" and with his finger taped up there's really no way he can wash his hands anyway. Seriously boot the manager, and retrain these kids they got killing themselves for minimum wage. Avoid this DQ, and save yourself a sick day. read more

Ordered delivery and as is with every delivery I have gotten lately . No one cares just throw whatever in a bag and send it. It doesn't matter since its on delivery service to fix it which they never do without a huge hassle. Thanks to you I not only didn't get dinner but you also left out my ice cream as well. Neighborhood DQ. I have always had good food. Friendly service. Good prices. Chicken strip basket w white gravy is the BEST!!! 5$ buck lunch deal is perfect!! They also have mello yellow on drink menu. Not very common anymore. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Tried to use a gift card and they declined it, called card services IN FRONT OF THEM and they refused to type in the code. Then they handed us out blizzards and they were half full. I never leave bad review but that experience was just ridiculous. Choose a different Dairy Queen! read more

Yikes this may have been the worst experience I've had at a fast food Restraunt. For starters we walked in to an atrocious smell that almost immediately persuaded me to turn around and leave. Once our noses became accustomed to the smell the realization that this place was just plain gross set in. From the flies that buzzed around our heads to the sticky floors this place was a nightmare. We wait, and wait, and wait until someone finally takes our order. We came with the intention of using a 2 month old $15 gift card which to be perfectly honest is the only reason we went. We ordered our food which went okay I guess my cousin was denied a smoothie with her kids meal which made her pretty upset but over all this part was okay. Except for the fact that I had to repeat everything I said about 4 times. We pull out our gift card and of course it gets denied. Now this gift card had never and I mean never been used it hadn't even been broken out of the packaging until we got to the restaurant. We try it again and the young man working behind the counter calls for an older woman to help him. We spent $19.13 so we owed about $4. The woman says that there's only $4 on the gift card. ...? We try and tell her that $4 is actually what we owed but then she tells us that there is no money on the card and it's been declined again! Now this whole process took about 10 min and it ended up that we just needed to pay the $15 without the gift card. So the only reason we entered this place was no longer. By this time I just wanted to leave I was so done with this. They deliever our food to our seats and we sit in the tiny cramped restaurant. Of course I immediately notice that they didn't bring our fountain drinks out and so we get those and then they forget the fork for my salad. We eat our food which proved to be subpar and we were out of there. Well lesson learned I will never purchase any type of food or ice cream from DQ ever again. read more

I stopped by yesterday to get the $5 Buck Lunch. The service was slow. The guy took awhile to get to the counter but also it was really busy inside and thru the driver thru. The burger tasted great and warm. I got a decent sundae though it was really really small even though it was a small sundae. Most the tables were dirty. I'll give it a 4.
