Was immensely happy with everything about this Dairy Queen, very clean inside and out. The chairs outside are a bit heavy, but on the upside they never have to chase them across the parking lot either. A far as DQ's go this one was pretty good. My order was prepared and served in a very timely manner. Cheeseburger was just like I ordered it, and the fries although not cooked crispy as I asked were good. The physical location was clean and overall it was a good experience. MInd you I havent eatten in a DQ for at least 15 plus years. My last experience was at a DQ in Northern Virginia and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Service was fast and friendly. Thank you. read more

Coming in after long road trip Sunday , my traveling companion and I stopped at DQ for a meal before making the last 3 miles home. She had the chicken strip basket and I had a 1/4lb combo.... Neither were up to what I consider DQ standards. Once we got home, about 5 min if that, our fries were cold, the bun on my burger was hard... and the meat was way over cooked. If I had not been so hungry I would probably not have eaten mine. Her chicken strips were OK, but again her fries were cold and uneatable ..... I have been to this location before and the food was much better. Not sure what happened Sunday night. read more

Update: Management team at DQ reached out to me and apologized for the mistakes, as well as offered to comp my next meal with them. Upon visiting, I planned to buy my wife a meal (as a policy, I never accept only free items and always buy something), but they insisted on comping our entire meal. I've been back since and had no issues. Maybe my previous issues can be chalked up to new restaurants pains because they definitely seem to care about taking care of their customers. *********************************************************************************** I've been here twice. First time, they charged me $2.69 for a chili cheese dog that was clearly $1.99 on the menu. The second time, I had a coupon for a free 4 piece chicken strip basket and also ordered a $5 buck lunch combo. They made the cheaper item free and charged me for the more expensive chicken strip basket..... And then didn't give me the drink I ordered. Food is typical fast food. Given that they're 2 for 2 on overcharging me for orders, I'll just go to the Sonic from now on. read more

My husband and I ate at this DQ a couple of years ago and it was ok. Today we had a fresh, hot meal. The young lady who waited on us was friendly, courteous, made eye contact AND was NOT on her cell phone! She checked on us during our meal and was friendly to all who entered the restaurant. Never go inside to order. I went inside and ordered 4 blizzards and a cone with my 4 small children. We sat and waited for 35 minutes as many cars went through the drive through and in their way. It would have been 5-10 minutes in the drive through. They obviously don't care about people who come in a prioritize people in the drive through. Will never be coming inside again. read more

Finally, a Dairy Queen that knows how to treat customers. We've lived in Madison for three years, and until now our choices have been drive 12 miles to Athens, or suffer through the Dairy Queen/Gas Station that was consistently dirty and smelled like sewage. Not anymore. Yesterday my wife and I stopped by the new Dairy Queen on County Line Road, and I was so thoroughly impressed. The place was clean, the food came out exceptionally quick...and hot (something the gas station store has forgotten how to do) and the staff was really friendly. This may just be the "new car smell" and it may wear off, but they are definitely starting off on the right foot. Additionally, the other two stores I mentioned are both owned by the same person. This one is NOT. So they appear to have a different business model than the other two. Fast food is fast food, so don't go there expecting steak and lobster, or even that kind of service. If you want good fast food and good service then give them a try. If you have any issues talk to Josh and he will make it right. read more

The chicken strips are not the same as before, very disappointing. They weren't fresh, they seem like the frozen chick strips (tenders) that I get myself at a grocery store and cook myself. Definitely was a waste of my time to drive there and money. read more

The new location is nice and they have the cherry dip which is my favorite though most dairy queens don't have it.

This is one of the best fast food places out there of any of them. I stop here from time to time and every time I do it is always a really nice experience. Everyone who works there is super friendly and the food is always good. I have a feeling the person in charge of this place treats the people who work there good because it is reflected in the attitude of the employees. They all deserve raises but at the very least a pat on the back for being so nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is great! We have been here several times since they have opened and the staff, food and service have been exceptional every time. We had our dog with us the past time we stopped in and they even brought out a complimentary ice cream just for him. Got four mini blizzards two of them were soup. They wouldn't even flip them. One was a cookie dough the other was a banana split.. Was told they used hot chocolate. I requested no chocolate then. The manager took them and I guess she just added more ice cream to booth of them. The banana split was just chocolate ice cream.. Sent over 12 for minimal service. Wow! What a difference from the other locations! Food was delicious and hot. The dining room was clean. The patio area was clean. The staff was friendly and welcomed us as we were entering and thanked us for visiting as we were leaving. It's a new store...keep up the good work. read more

My husband & I stop in here at least once a week for a blizzard & we're both convinced management is cutting back on the candies in the blizzards as a cost cutting measure. We were lucky to find 3 small piece of candy in a small peanut butter blizzard, & tbh, it was difficult to distinguish the flavor. DQ, you can do better than this! read more

I recently went to the new Dairy Queen and what a disappointment. I was excited when they opened because the food was great the employees friendly and the price was grand. It was a pleasant surprise and I was glad they had come to County Line Road...here's the but...I went before Christmas and it was awful so every place gets a second chance. That chance was the middle of January at 3:00 the service was quick but only because my chicken tenders and fries were left over from lunch and cold, dried out. My husbands hot dog and fries the same. Worse the place was filthy. Workers come with red clay shoes. That can not be helped so I am not talking about that! I am talking about the tables and seats...not a clean one anywhere while two girls chatted behind the counter...By 3 lunch crowd is long gone no excuse for bad help.
