First thing to start off with, when I pulled up to order my food I was just wanting a number 1, and the price was 9.13, after I got the total came to 14.15, expensive and also why did they not change their price for food. When I was talking about my order they couldn't hear me, so I spoke a little louder and they got mad at me for no reason. It specifically took me 1 hour to get my food and I was sitting by the window and the register person didn't say anything, so I was sitting their for my food and getting honked by the people behind me, and customizing people's order, I asked for no onions and yet their were still onions on my burger. From my personal experience I think Dairy Queen needs to step it up by, changing the price on the food, telling us how long it will take since it took me 1 hour to get my food and it was simple, and being kind to people when other people are trying to speak up so the other person can hear them. I was really disappointed with my recent chicken strip basket. The price has gone up, but the portion sizes feel much smaller now, making it feel overpriced for what you get. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide actual Texas toast--it was just a piece of regular, thin toasted sandwich bread. Service is terrible! I've given them a couple chances in the last few months, I go when they're not busy, and I still end up waiting at least 25 minutes for two blizzards. The staff are all super young, including the manager, and they're just standing there messing around the whole time. They don't answer the phone when you try to call to report an issue. I do not recommend this location. I had to get a refund since the app glitched and switched locations. They never gave me a refund, when the issue occurred they said I would have to come to the store later and it would be fine. I went back for the refund for them to tell me that the manager has to be there. Instead I asked just to have the food made if we weren't getting the refund. Well..... I Tried to give this Dairy Queen a second chance and I should not have. Waited in the line over 25 minutes in the drive through, asked for napkins and two forks didn't receive either. Ordered two large drinks with our two meals, and didn't get either of those as well. Tonight I ordered a Diet Coke, was given a regular coke, so I asked for a Diet Coke. Very nice surprise to hit this DQ after a day of hiking in Colorado National Monument. Probably one of the cleanest DQ I have been in. New decor with large screen TVs. Have Orange Julius menu items as well which my son always enjoys. Prices a little higher than we pay at our Texas DQs but well worth it on a hot day.
