Great new addition to the Cochran area!!!…read more The customer service while dining in was top-notch, they delivered our food accurately, they offered to get our drink refills for us, they brought us condiments and napkins, and said to leave the trays for them to handle. The food tasted great, especially the french fries! Everything came out fairly quick, but more importantly everything was hot & fresh.

This was my first time visiting Jack's in Cochran, Georgia, and I can honestly say it will be my…read morelast. The customer service we received was disappointing from the moment we walked up to the register to place our order. The first lady who was at the register didn't seem interested in taking our order, so she sent another employee to help us. Unfortunately, the second employee wasn't any better. I ordered a meal and didn't realize it didn't come with a drink. Instead of explaining that to me, the employee said nothing, and my mom ended up having to pay an additional $3 for a drink. A little communication would have gone a long way. The employee also wasn't very friendly. When I explained that I needed to scan my phone, he seemed to have an attitude about it. Customers shouldn't feel like they're bothering employees simply by trying to use an available offer or scan their phones. But that wasn't the end of the disappointing experience. As we were getting ready to leave, we noticed that the sweet tea, unsweet tea, and lemonade had all been put away. When we asked about them, we were told that all three containers were empty. Honestly, I found that hard to believe, and the way our question was handled made the situation even worse. The employee working in the back also gave me a nasty look. Customer service matters. Customers spend their hard-earned money at restaurants and deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Nobody expects special treatment, but there is no reason to make customers feel unwelcome for asking simple questions. Unfortunately, this location left such a bad impression on me that I have no desire to return. This was my first visit, and it will be my last at this Jack's. At this point, I have decided I'm done with Jack's altogether. Management seriously needs to work on customer service and how customers are treated. A first visit should make someone want to come back, not make them swear off the restaurant completely.

So I came to La Cabana for lunch and this time it was a 5/5…read more I hadn't had fish tacos here before and so decided that that would be a good option for lunch. I am glad that I made that choice. The chips were good, crispy, and fresh, but this review is about the fish tacos. The tacos were on flour tortillas, and they had cilantro sauce. The cilantro sauce was outstanding: not too intense, but you definitely taste it. The fish had a good sear, and was also tender and juicy. The tortillas were likewise soft and warm, which added to the texture of the tacos. These three tacos left me gut-bustingly full, and they were also incredibly tasty. I strongly recommend them.

There are several places better than this place. We ordered a cheese dip, guacamole, choripollo, shrimp quesadilla and a Mexican Pizza. The guacamole was...disgusting. It looked like something from a diaper. There was no life to it. The cheese dip was runny like water or milk had destoyed it into a flavorless soup. The chorizo was wayyy too greasy and tasted burnt. The chicken was dry, flavorless and overcooked. My knife barely could cut it. It also came out cold. The rice was undercooked. It was clumpy and dry. Highly in need of salt. The tortillas were definitely store bought and heated from a chef Mike. They could barely be bitten through to take a bite. You had to saw through it with your teeth. My husband couldn't finish the pizza. It was one flavor profile with the only thing fresh being the onions. The onions and peppers on the quesadilla came from the frozen section of Walmart. Service was okay. Very overbearing like they wanted to flip the table ASAP. All in all, it was $86. Bathrooms were at least clean...

If I had to be picky about one thing I'd say it needed just a tiny bit more of the truffle aioli. Smash-squatch 10/10 Really delicious smash burger too!! Onion rings 7/10 The batter on them was good but, there was so much that it overpowered the onion and that's really all you tasted. I took about half the batter off of it and it was much better. Pub sauce 9/10 Good sauce. I can't really tell exactly what it tastes like. It was a little spicy though for me. Peanut butter puppy chow pie 11/10 Creamy peanut butter filling on top of an Oreo crust, topped with puppy chow and some drizzled chocolate and maybe caramel sauces. I could eat this all day long it's so delicious.
