Very slow service don't stop here if in a rush been in line for 15 mins! Staff seems unprepared for rushes or people in general.

Our blizzards were mostly vanilla ice cream, barely mixed and hardly any toppings!! This happens often at this DQ unfortunately!!

Nite-Cap Tavern - The new patio is a hit!

I liked the Nite Cap. I've never been in here before last week, but we dropped in for a pizza and…read moresome beers. I understand they have new owners, but I don't know anything about the previous owners or what it was like before, so I'm basing my review off only my recent visit and nothing more. The bartender came over to our table almost immediately and took our orders. She was quite friendly and seemed to know the food menu well. I didn't notice anyone else working the bar/dining room area, so that meant that she was covering every table herself. Despite that, she was both sweet and efficient. We ordered a pizza, which came out to the table in what I would call an appropriate amount of time. It wasn't too long and wasn't so quick to make me think it was a frozen pizza or anything like that. The pizza was a thin crust, which I don't usually order, but it was good and I thought it was great for a thin crust pie. I would order that pizza again if I was at the Nite Cap again. My wife and I both enjoyed the pizza. We ordered the smaller size, which had eight slices, and that was plenty for the two of us. We just didn't require a box for leftovers. We ordered our beers, but the first two selections that my wife asked for, they were out of. We finally settled on something else, Killian's, on draft and those were on the table immediately. My wife complained that they could have used more of a head on the top, but that was it. I looked over at the bar and they did have a nice selection of beers on tap. As we waited for our food, I noticed our surroundings. They have a sidewalk patio area that was just begging to be used once the weather warms up some. Inside was a cozy fireplace, a jukebox and lots of seating, including near the windows. The atmosphere was nice and it looked like some mild upgrades had been done recently, although I did notice the cover on one of the chairs at our table was pretty torn up. That needed to be replaced stat and I couldn't understand how the damage didn't stick out like a sore thumb to the staff, but I don't think they noticed. I thought it was a quaint little small town bar. Everyone seemed friendly and the food and service were all good. I would not be adverse to trying this little pub again for a brew and pizza, maybe even a stromboli or a burger, since both looked great based on what I saw other people ordering up at the bar.

Not good. Burger patty tasted like middle school cafeteria. Service was soso. Overpriced. Avoid.read more

Andy’s Country Chef - The country boy breakfast

The service here is always amazing! It's just a normal mom & pop diner as far as atmosphere -…read morenothing special. Breakfast is pretty good but that's where good stops. I've had meals for lunch and dinner here when meeting family members who are live near to here. The food is very very salty and lack luster. Clio does not have a ton of options but I think next time we will be trying something els

This had to be the worst experience I think I've ever had going out for breakfast. We had looked up…read morea place to have breakfast on our way home from Frankenmuth and this seemed like a nice family restaurant. When we sat down, our waitress, asked for our drink order and brought it probably within 10 minutes. At that point, the waitress said she would go get her pad to come and take our order. We probably waited another 20 minutes watching her run around the restaurant and finally asked another waitress if she could come take our order , so she called over our waitress who apologized for taking so long. We put in our order and saw the waitress walk over to the computer screen and enter our order. At that point we were waiting and we knew it was memorial day and things might take a little bit longer, so we were allowing for a little extra time however we noticed a table behind us and a table in front of us who had arrived after us, and not only place their order, but received their food while we were still waiting. The person I was with finally called another waitress over and said that we've been waiting over an hour for our food and he asked to speak to the owner or the manager because he was very upset about us waiting so long. At that point another new waitress came over and apologized and said that our waitress was in the back room having a meltdown over the situation and that she was going to buy our breakfast for us. My friend was very upset. I was a little more calm, but he said there's no way we are paying for this order. We've been here over an hour, that waitress walked away and then came back and said she wanted to verify our order so that everything was perfect on the order. we gave her specific details on our order and she went in the back and said it would come out quickly and I believe it it came out then in 20 minutes. My theory is that the first waitress somehow enter all the information in the computer and lost our order so that when that other waitress came back to check on the specifics of our order, she was actually taking our order from scratch and they had to go in the back and make it up brand new. The food was fine but maybe a little bit greasy, but with the whole fiasco with our order taking over an hour and a half and us watching other people come after us eat and leave while we're still waiting for our food was very upsetting. As soon as we got done eating, we just got up and left the restaurant. The first waitress never made any kind of apologies to us, and I thought that was a lack of professionalism and kind of tacky. Obviously, we would never go back here and I believe they need to come up with some new strategies for training their staff and telling them how to deal with customers and how to take orders properly.
