McDonald's - Terrible quality as usual, ordered a quarter pounder and it's missing a whole quarter of the meat.

Third time in a month I've ordered at this McDonald's - between 1:30 and 3PM. All three times it…read moretook at least 15 minutes for them to bring me my order (once it took 20). Two out of the three times my food was cold - which tells me the food was ready for a while before getting it to me. The women who brought me the food were very nice. But I would never go here again if I were in any hurry.

I placed and paid for an order on the app this morning for a bagel and a frappe before I left my house. Took 20 minutes to drive there, and when I arrived, I was asked to hold on at the speaker. Okay, no problem. But, as I'm sitting there waiting, the menu screens blink off and then comes back on with all of the frozen drinks crossed off with the stupid Back Soon sign over them. You can see where this is going. When the girl comes back on to take my order, I give her my voice code and of course she tells me that unfortunately they can't make the frappe because the guy is there cleaning the machine. Now, I ask you, when you know that a customer has placed an order for a frozen drink in the app, and you know they are sitting at the speaker, why wouldn't you just make the drink and then shut down the machine to clean it? So, I had to change the order after the first one was already paid for, and was told I wouldn't be charged for the first one, but I already was. When I pointed this out, I was told I'd be refunded automatically. Well, this isn't true. I had to go into the order and cancel it. But, they don't tell you this, so if you don't go looking for it on your own, then you're out the money. This store needs to be shut down until the employees, and managers, can be trained appropriately.

I love me a chicken sandwich (especially fried) so I knew this was a spot I needed to eventually check out. Finally got a chance to visit while up visiting family and we walked here for lunch while enjoying the beautiful Bar Harbor weather. They had a reasonable priced menu with a good amount of choices even including a grilled chicken sandwich for those not wanting fried. Besides the sandwiches they also have wings, tenders, nugs, salads and more. You order at the counter and get a number to bring to your table so they can find you. Seating options are great with some available on ground level but also take a walk up the beautifully painted stairs to their second floor. Definitely a spot that provides you with some great vibes and views of downtown Bar Harbor if you get seats near the windows. Sandwich wise I was very pleased with the Blueberry Chick. It had a great balance of sweet and spicy from the blueberries and jalapeños. It's honestly what I think you should get to have the most Maine experience here due to the blueberries! For your side snag one of the seasoned fries option, I enjoyed the lemon pepper. My wife got the Skinny Chick and thought it was okay but not blown away. Their fried sandwiches definitely shine more. A spot I would return to for more delicious chicken!

OMG not 5*s I give them 20*'s This is the most incredible…read morelobster shack anywhere in the United States. Yes the lines are long, sometimes 2-3 hours before it's your turn to order your meal. Today I ordered an appetizer lobster pop. It was ok nothing to write home about but I also ordered scallops , onion rings, lobster roll, excellent iced tea & excellent iced coffee. We picked an outside table & waited for our order to be delivered. It only took 10-15 minutes to have our order delivered. Red's doesn't weigh their lobster all they do is pile it on so high you can't see the buttered grilled hotdog roll. Served with a side of hot butter to dip or pour on the lobster. I couldn't finish my roll so I took home some leftover lobster that I weighed at home. It weighed 4.7 oz more than what a normal lobster roll weighs regularly. I can safely say there was around 16z of fresh tender lobster meat. No chewiness incurred. Look closely at the pictures & start making plans to visit Red's Eats in Wiscasset Maine. We chose to go visit when they 1st opened on May 6th so the line we stood in was only 10-12 people deep. We will go back in October before they close for the season. This will be the most impressive lobster shack you'll ever experience. Make plans & drive there soon.

OPENING DAY 2026 I…read morewas lucky enough to be in the area on opening day and knew it was finally time to try the famous Reds Eats as a native Mainer. Since it was opening day on a wednesday and i arrived around 1:45 i only waited in line about half an hour so i cant speak on wait times during peak season. I do know however that i would wait in a longer line to eat this food again because it was more than worth it. First of all the customer service is exceptional- i dont think i have had a better more friendly experience. They give you sampled while you wait in line and during my time they were handing out their beer batters fried shrimp and wow even that was amazing! I waited while it was cold and rainy as well so the hot shrimp was a wonderful surprise. I watched ever interaction the employees had with every individual party and the never wavered in politeness or excitement. They treated everyone with the same respect and really took their time catering to them. Now onto the food, i ordered the sweet potato fries with the house made maple aoili, a side of cole slaw, and of course the lobster roll which was a market price of $38 on opening day. The food came out so fast, the wait times are not because they don't get food out in a timely manner because they were an excellent well oiled machine in the kitchen. This lobster roll is absolutely STUFFED with lobster. I had at least two tails, two claws, and then some in my one hot dog roll and i couldn't even pick it up. Let's just say i fork and knifed it until i could take a bite of the roll which i am not complaining about at all! Comes with hot butter on the side which i liked more than just being dumped onto the roll beforehand. Pro tip- get the side of sweet potato fries because the house made maple aoili it comes with is also fantastic when you dip your lobster roll in it! Plus the fries were perfectly hot and crispy. Cole slaw was a great addition too for some crunch! I love being able to look out into the water as you sit outside, and i was even bundled up in a jacket but i wouldn't change my experience for anything! This is by far the best price point for any lobster roll you'll get in Maine when we are talking about quality and quantity. You will leave extremely satisfied and the experience is going to stay on your mind until you go again! I can't wait for my next chance to eat at Reds!
