Usually Dairy Queen is our GO TO for soft serve, it is always excellent. Unfortunately yesterday we decided to try the Mango Smoothie. I was very disappointed, we should have stuck with the soft serve. The smoothie was very cold, brain freeze cold, because it was mostly ice crystals. There was something missing, like cream, ice cream, milk or even yogurt. It was more like a slushie, mainly mango syrup and ice. $14 for 2 slushies seems a bit high..... It was a hot Saturday but the service seemed exceptionally slow, the drive thru probably had 10 or more cars, the line snaked around past Ledo Pizza. NEVER GO HERE. We've noticed that this store has routinely sold sundaes that are almost liquid, and are a disaster to open. We learned a HUGE LESSON - never go there near closing time. Arriving 15 minutes before closing, we ordered two of these - one exploded all over the inside of the car, and we just threw the other out. I went back to get some napkins to clean up, and they didn't want to open the window until I pleaded for help, insisting they were closed even though we had just gone through their drive through. I've lived around this location for 20 years now since it's been open and the drive thru isn't bad as long as you'll wait. I'd never go inside EVER. The man last night took 15m to get my girlfriends caramel sundae, didn't provide my blizzard for another 10m after I had to ask bc he served the 3 parties after us. It had mint chocolate chip which I didn't order all over the top of the melted blizzard and he said that's fine bc the mint cc sometimes gets mixed into the water for the blizzard cups...after serving me a melted blizzard 3 parties later. read more

I am absolutely disgusted by this dairy queen. Not only was the ice cream nothing more than satisfactory but I asked for an iced water and receivers quite literal sewage piss on ice. The cup and its contents smelled putrid. I will never be returning to this location ad the clearly the sewage issues in their building therefore creating a sanitary issue. If the water tastes and smells this bad then how am I supposed to trust the food that they serve. When Dairy Queen gave children a free ice cream cone as a reward for good attendance in school, they omitted that it was not at all dairy queen stores. So when I took my child to FSK, they turned my child away saying no free cone as my Kindergartener read FREE CONE with a Dairy Queen logo. I went here on a busy Saturday night. I wanted a twist cone dipped in chocolate. I wanted a good local joint to hit for some clean ice cream fun. DQ was an obvious choice. The cashier/ janitor was really kind. Since I had to wait a long time in line to order he offered to wipe the leftover goodies off of the counter into my blizzard for free. The cess pool of clean soapy water was located next to brown/ black stainless steel blizzard maker offered a little extra punch to the blizzard. We visited this location the past Saturday, and our experience it was far less than exceptional. We ordered 3 blizzards and only one of them was made correctly. The other two practically turned into soup the second the spoon got into the cup. My wifes was so bad that once she took the lid off and tried to hold the cup it was so flimsy because the ice cream was so soupy that it caused the cup to cave and ice cream spilled all over her. She ended up taking hers in to have a new one made. The "manager" apologized and gave her a new one that was made far better at no extra cost. I only ended up eating half of mine before throwing it out; it was so runny and soupy and it honestly had hardly any flavor to it. Also, the topping station behind the counter (which I didn't catch a glimpse of until after I ate half of my blizzard) was absolutely disgusting; there were pieces of toppings all over the place and the counter was a disaster. I certainly won't be returning to this location again and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will however recommend that the manager takes some time to work on customer service training with his staff as well as how to properly make a blizzard. read more

Not sure why, but several times I have tried to order a cake from this location and it's always a hassle. I tried to order a cake for Easter and I called the store only to be told "very rudely" I need to order online, HOWEVER; that was not an option and as I stopped into the store they continued to ARGUE with me telling me to order online...I immediately pulled out my phone and SHOWED them their website where there was not that option available (I would have gladly done it online rather than argue with the rude staff!!) Their response was "oh sorry"...I was not able to get the actual cake I wanted because for whatever reason they were out of EASTER cake decorations (this was on Tuesday the week of Easter)...so I settled for another cake instead. I went to pick it up and was told you can't pick up a cake in the drive thru...what kinda of rationalization is that?? If you want to go to a place where service is slow and every aspect of the place is dirty and appalling dairy queen is the place to be. I went there one time with my children. I ordered a chocolate malt milkshake and two royal blizzards for my sons. The execution was awful. Apparently, the new standard for a royal blizzard is an overly rich vanilla ice cream(I wouldn't even call it ice cream based on the way it stays in the cup when you flip it) and little to no Oreo and a huge glob of thick disgusting fudge. It was so far down the cup I almost lead to believe the got my order wrong. The malt which apparently supposed to give my milkshake a powdery consistency was almost non-existent. The service I received was awful. When I asked what the malt in the milkshake was for she laughed at me through her snaggle teeth and whined why people constantly asked her that question. After that it took her ten whole minutes to complete my order with only one person in front of me. the thing that was most appalling was their "burger machine." It was a wheel that pancaked the patty to about a half centimeter wide. You feed "mystery meat" through a machine and dispenses it on the other side in a pile. All in all, dairy queen is a dump and wouldn't go there with a gun up to my head. read more
