They charge people for bags which are designated for EBT recipients. Then when individuals pay with EBT they never have any bags left over, which leads to people with EBT having to pay for bags (which is illegal). EBT benefits were also stolen and I have no doubt that is was the store that was responsible for this. All in all not an inclusive welcoming feeling in this store.

Like other markets in the area, they carry lots of Guyanese products alongside other ethnic grocery products. They have a meat area and a seafood area. I've not tried either yet but I see people constantly there buying so it must be good. There are deals to be had here. If you're looking for Five Roses flour in bulk, they have it. If you're looking for Guyanese rice, as well as other bulk rice packages, they have it. The staff is customer friendly enough. Some of the cashiers are quite nice and take the time to say hello to my kid and that always scores points with me. I've shopped here maybe 4 times since they've opened and it's a good market. It's as good as any of the other ethnic markets in the neighborhood but with that added bonus that it's super close to home. Normally, if I want to buy lots of fruit, I have to go down to Lefferts and Liberty - but not anymore. Definitely give these people a try. The service will be practically the same as the service you receive at all the other markets. You'll have good with the bad, but that's normal. So far, it's been good. Check them out.

Could not believe they had the lowest price I have ever seen on Boursin which is a French ingredient secret to my mashed potatoes that make my garlic whipped mashed potatoes taste the same as the ones served at The Wynn Hotel Las Vegas. Unbelievable... this ingredient has risen to $3 higher in price due to tariffs. Tonight I will make lemon butter salmon with capers, garlic whipped mashed potatoes with sautéed asparagus!
