They have a bunch of empty shelves for products yet the whole reason for my trip was to go to the travel section every pharmacy drugstore I've ever been to has. I always find everything I am looking for. It's a very convenient store open 24/7. I have gone from a quick sandwich and drink(chicken salad & juice) to household items that I ran out at the last moment. Since the time when my uncle got sick I have used the pharmacy. The staff is nice and try to help as much as possible with my transfers of meds from another pharmacy when traveling. They have helped with my odds meds as well. Now, both of us are registered there They have a small area of the latest gadgets that I like to explore and have found this solar light that I placed on my fronts doors that beat having the light bulbs on all the time. Fresh cut flowers bouquets and fruits are nice too. I buy them often. The bad thing about this store is the long lines to pay. read more

If I can give no star I'm willing to do so ...hey as many of you know my name is Washington I worked for Walgreens since February 28 2023 ....it started off cool it was a decent job until customers realized an African American male was a shift lead there at this location ....customers had a big issue with that ....i had the thought as if I didn't care because no matter where u go it's gonna be racism. In the middle of the year a new esm manager came in by the name of padmini . Since day one of her arriving she has gave me dirty looks has verbally abused me called me out my name many times and found any way to disrespect me ..before I called corporate on her I didn't want to be disrespectful and call corporate without speaking to my boss about it ....so I did and he said he was gonna speak to her ......I guess he spoke to her because her attitude completely changed as if she was out to screw with me now ....thru out my days of working there people would come back to me saying that padmini said oh your lazy and oh why am I here I don't do anything and that she wants me gone ....it was one day she tried to contact me thru text and tried to tell me do some things that my boss informed me not to do ...so I blocked her from texting me or calling me...next couple of days she's going around telling everybody that I blocked her number and that isn't right and she's going to take care of this. ....one night after my shift I had clocked out left the store and went t g sit in my car ...I forgot I had to buy some items for my mother so I went back in the store ...as I'm standing on line I forgot another item so I go back and get what I want and the line building up worse then what it was ....mind u it's 1 am in the morning.....I go stand by the atm and have a private conversation with the cashier named Andrew ...as were speaking the line died down and the store got empty enough for me to make my purchase ....as I'm making my purchase Andrew gets a phone call from a customer that wanted to make a complaint on us about our conversation .....so he did so ...I leave ...I came back again for my shift the next day the same customer calls wanting to complain so I informed him to call between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm to speak to the store manager ok not a problem ...weeks go by and our lost prevention manager comes in calls me in the office about the situation....i tell him what happened and as he can watch cameras and see that I was off the clock he said yes we see u being off the clock I said ok so what I say and do is my personal time ...once I clock out from Walgreens time is my personal time and let alone I'm a customer from there on out ....dominick says we just need a statement from my point of view of what happened so I say not a problem. I asked my boss akeel and the lost prevention manager Dominick am I being fired for this situation...they both said no people don't get fired for a customer complaint the most is a write up so I said not a problem and left out the office ...just recently as of January 17 2024 I get called into the office by store manager akeel and esm padmini stating that I'm being fired because corporate made the decision to get rid of me because the customer felt uncomfortable about what we was talking about...so I ask how if I was a customer on my own time and I even left the store after I was clocked out...they said moving forward it has nothing to do with us it was a corporate decision which was to let me go ....so I left....latter on that day I get a phone call from another employee letting me know that the person that was on the clock just got a write up and that was all he gets to keep his job .......i called hr I called the district manager Dwayne I emailed hr and I emailed Dwayne about this situation and everybody refuse to get back in contact with me ...ok fine I lost my job over something petty but I feel like it's not just that situation...I feel as if the esm padmini had something to do with that she a very racist person she has an issue with African American people....customers had complained about her attitude to others and I feel as if I get fired because of my race...legally it's 3stages to this verbal written and termination The African American male (me) gets automatic fire The Guyanese male witch is the same race as padmini gets to kneel his job and get a write up HOW DO YOU FIRE A CUSTOMER read more

This place is a joke, between the people behind the registers, the manager and pharmacy. Which one is more worse cannot tell. Everytime i go, the cashiers take so much time to do the sales. The manager is on the side just watching, instead of sitting and yapping around, open another register and move the customers. last night I rushed to Walgreens at Roclassy and lefferts to get a much needed medicine . I engaged the assistance of the night pharmacist PETER . I regretted doing so but I left an ailing family member to get this recommended medicine . Peter became extremely obnoxious insisting he has never of this medicine and Walgreens has never carried such a medicine . Over my insistence Peter asked me who recommend the medicine . I told him a doctor . His response this is America you need to go and buy it India . This is America . This is America . OMGosh. These are one of the places where I reccomend shooting yourself in the foot before even thinking of coming to this store. One of THE worst Walgreens around. Notthing is ever in stock when I go, nor is anything in its proper place. You ask staff for help, you get half ass answers, and just give up before you even bother coming here! Parking is harder than finding a parking spot on the 15 floor of the Empire State building, it's IMPOSSIBLE!, and if you do get one... good luck leaving!!! Just like all chain stores you hope to find that one that may be different. Nope it is mos def not this one. Dont bother looking at the sale price--98% of the time its wrong. The other 2% is because the store is so disorganized that things usually not where they are supposed to be. Parking? Oh goodness. Leave your car at home and just walk. It is such a mess and there is always that douche bag that either takes up 2 spots or the prick that doesnt know how to back out of a space and is willing and able to bump your car just to get out. Staff? Forget it. You are better off just walking around and grabbing crap that you dont need in order to hopefully find what you were originally looking for. Pharmacy? The pharmacy is the absolute worse. After waiting on a ridiculously long line, I got to the counter only to be told that they cannot find my medication when they had called me and told me it was ready to be picked up. I had to wait an additional 25 minutes for them to refill it. The tech was very dismissive and did not even apologize for misplacing my meds. I'm giving this Walgreens 4 stars because it's incredibly clean & stocked to the gills but not with the one product line I ran in to get this morning-Burt's Bees Chapstick. I was devastated! The manager went & checked in the back for me but they don't carry any Burt's Bees products whatsoever any longer because no one was buying it at this location. I guess the people who live in the area & frequent this location are not aware of the amazing product line. Oh well. I picked up a Blistex Chapstick because I'm willing try anything today against the 24 degree day in NYC against my hurting lips. I hate the winter! I also picked up really awesome earbuds with a built in mic that will work with any smartphone, mp3 or musical device. I am awarding it to my student today who has turned around his behavior towards me & answered a fairly difficult question yesterday about a literary element in regards to the book we are reading. For $7.99 I'm willing to try anything to build a sting bond with this young man. I also purchased a few boxes of candy canes for $.99 each for next week to pass out. I hate this Walgreens! I went to pick up a picture and I waited for more than 20 min. There was no one at the photo center, I told an associate at the register I needed to be assisted at the photo center and I waited but they forgot . I had to go back again letting them know finally someone came at this point there a long line. After assisting the first customer she went to ring . I was so annoyed! This place has changed for the better since opening. It's good that they are open 24 hrs., especially when I leave for work at 4a.m. and can pick-up/dropoff a prescription when its better for me. Others complain about parking, but its to be expected as the lot isn't large, most stores don't have parking at all. They have on-line shopping so I usually go there to check if an item is available in store or on-line only. On-line shopping can be delivered or picked up at the store. Delivery is prompt. I've shopped at this Walgreens for more than 10 yrs now and lets cut to the chase this location is terrible. Never any help to be found, no parking, always out of stock. Don't even bother to call because you'll probably see pigs fly before you get help on the phone. If you are going to the pharmacy bring some reading material and be prepared to wait. I think I grew a gray hair once waiting to be helped. The employees don't even want to be there themselves. There are two employees that I have come across who have been extremely helpful and efficient. When I find out their names I will make it my duty to update this review. So why after 10 years am I writing a review you ask? Well I just went to the pharmacy to pick my prescription up and this is about the 100000000th time I've encountered a problem getting my prescription. I am SICK of it. The girl working the counter tells me that my prescription has yet to be filled and I have to wait 5mins. Why should I have to wait 5mins for a prescription that I put in an order to be filled!? I take a deep breath and I tell her I will wait. 10mins later she tells me she filled the wrong prescription AFTER I TOLD HER MY NAME 3 TIMES! She then proceeded to talk about me with other customers like it's my fault. Of course I had to wait because if I come back I'll have to deal with the same thing again. On Monday I dropped off three orders for picture developments. Two from the computer and one instant camera. I picked up the first two on Monday night and was told the instant camera machine was down ...yet my file would be ready on Tuesday after 10 am. When I returned on Tuesday it was not done. I retrieved them on Wednesday and they were RUINED. ALL MY WEDDING PHOTOS taken on an instant camera purchased at your store WERE RUINED. Only thing you can offer is an apology.
