The scented bath foam is always my favorite while I that my long weekend baths before calling it a night .Store is well stocked , organized and stuff is displayed in plain sight making finding what I need a breeze . I want to shout out the sweet worker that let me pick up my online order, even though I came an hour before the store opened without me realizing their Sunday hours changed lol. She saw me coming to th door and informed me they weren't opened yet and asked how she can help, I showed her my phone with the order number and my name and she graciously said "give me a few, I'll help". I truly had a wonderful shopping experience today. Although BBW no longer cares the CocoShea Honey or Cucumber Body Butter I was able to take advantage of their generous promotions. I took part of the Buy 1, Get 1 Free 3-Wick Candle, 6/$26 Hand Soaps, and The Buy 2, Get 1 Free Travel Size Body Lotion. $69 later and a $50 discount -- I feel great about my purchase. Th staff are very friendly and quick to assist you. I'm a indecisive person, so I ask the staff for their opinions or ask what their best sellers are. The staff is great with giving their opinions and advice. Before entering the store, they sanitize your hands with one of their sanitizing sprays. I've been waiting for this Bath & Body Works to open for months now! It was supposed to have been open back in August so I was glad to hear that they finally opened up a few days ago. What a welcomed addition to Myrtle Avenue! You can tell the neighborhood is changing when a big named store like this moves on in. This Bath & Body Works is nestled right between the Children's Place and Osh Kosh. I was very surprised to see how deep in the store was. Granted, it's not big enough to have the White Barn and Bath & Body Works sections split, but it's a good size for it's location. The big screen projector in back of the registers makes the store seem even larger. Since it's brand new, I don't have too many complaints. The store was immaculate and fully stocked. Service was friendly but you can tell that the cashiers are new to the game. They seemed nervous and one guy was needing help. I'm sure as time goes on that things in that department will get better. I really can't say much more about this place. All I know is that this location is probably going to become my second home. They're giving out coupons like crazy and any kind of pumpkin concoction is out on display. read more

This Bath & Body Works has cheerful & welcoming associates. I was greeted by at least two employees as soon as I walked in. I love that I was allowed to peruse the goodies on my own without them hovering around me and pressuring me to buy anything. One of the store associates, Elise, made some thoughtful suggestions and even remembered my name even though I didn't interact with her too much because I didn't need any assistance... but when I return, I will be sure to look for her! :) The store is super organized and I like that I wasn't overpowered by too many strong scents (would've gotten a headache). I haven't been inside an actual bath & body works for at least 5 years, but this store makes me want to return! A few months ago, a friend of mine let me use her lotion. It was the "Thousand Wishes" Shea and Vitamin E lotion from Bath & Body Works. Ever since that day, I have been addicted to that lotion and have been exploring a few other Bath & Body Works products. This is a new location that just opened in Ridgewood and it's amazing. The store itself is modern, extremely clean and really well organized. However, what separates this location from all the other Bath & Body Works is the service. Every time I walk in to this store, I am greeted and the staff is actually eager to help me find what I need. They are always beyond helpful and super friendly. I usually love coming to this store bc the staff is always so helpful, however today was a mess. I asked for help with something and the lady was so rude, rolled her eyes and made me feel like I was bothering her. Like it's your job to help me, that's why you are here. Another woman asked her for the price if something and she said it says it's already just look... come to find out, she's the NEW MANAGER! The "Manager" on duty, Nailea, was the farthest thing from helpful. I had an issue using a birthday coupon, they kept telling me "it was used". If it was used it wouldn't still be in my B&BW wallet. The cashier went to the back to speak with her "manager" and came back out and essentially said there was nothing they could do and said I have to call customer service. I asked for the customer service phone number, the "manager's" name and store number. That took 5-10 minutes because the "manager" was "in the bathroom." Not once during this entire encounter did the "manager" even come out and speak to me directly. So I left the store and called customer service. I spoke to a wonderful woman who was extremely helpful and understanding. The woman from customer service let me know my coupon was still valid and there's no reason they shouldn't be able to help me. The woman at customer service asked me to go back inside the store since I was still outside and try and rectify the situation. When I went back into the store the "manager" conveniently was at the front speaking with the cashier. I let the "manager" know that I was on the phone with customer service, like they asked me to do, and the woman on the phone let me know my coupon was valid. The "manager" right away was extremely dismissive and just said no she can't help me. The customer service representative heard this and asked to speak with the "manager". When I tried to hand the phone to the "manager" she told me "no, they need to call the store to speak with us". I let the representative know this and she told me this was not true. The "manager" then proceeded to be extremely rude and unprofessional making multiple comments. "We had a meeting this morning about this and I can't do anything" "If you came yesterday I could've helped you", "I'm not loosing my job for anyone", and the list goes on. The customer service representative heard all of this in the back and was outraged and asked for this "manager's" name. Thank you to the customer service rep who helped me. To this store, you should be ashamed of the "manager" that is representing your store, she's a prime example of everything a "manager" should not be. As a store manger myself, I would never act this way towards a customer having an issue in my store. I would be appalled with any of my team treating a customer this way. Bath and Body Works clearly needs to invest a bit more in their management training because this encounter was absolutely disgusting. I will be traveling out of my way in the future just to ensure I don't give this store a penny more than I already have. read more

This store is full of a bunch of misinformed employees who don't want to work. For starts I've been shopping with BBW for years and yesterday was the first time I felt as if I will not be a returning customer. I went in with a coupon that clearly stated i can get a "free wallflower or something valued up to $7.50". As standard if there was a difference I would pay. The manger of the store refused to let me get something of valued up to $7.50 and pay the difference which is something I've always done in the past. The Manger said I had to get a wallflower or I can't get anything,which is unheard of. It clearly said wallflower or something of valued up to the price. This location is great. Right on Myrtle Ave smack in the middle of all the good stores. The store is organized and they are always fully stocked. I was very impressed by the staff. Very friendly and helpful until I got to the register and dealt with Camilo. I had a coupon for a free item up to $13.50. He clearly heard me say I was going to use it because he told me that the creams were $13.50 so I could use it on that. I went to get my cream, come back and he says "you can't use this I already closed out the transaction." Well who told you to do that? You knew I went to go get my $13.50 cream that YOU told me to get. He starts rolling his eyes, looking up and saying "this is going to be one of those types of days." YES MOFO IT IS. My mother tried to explain that we did this before in Atlantic City, it does not matter if he already closed out the transaction. And he replied with "well this is not Atlantic City." Then he tried to tell me that all I had to pay was tax on the item - $2.94 is not tax on a $13 item and I'm sorry but FREE ITEM means I pay NOTHING. At this point, it was all principle. Never in my life have I seen such rude customer service, especially after I just spent over $100 in your store. NEWSFLASH the proper way to handle the situation would be "I'm so sorry, you're right. I will figure it out." Get this guy some training. I asked for a manager and he claims he was the manager. I'm still high over my experience at b&bw. Walked in to get a candle. One candle. I left with 2 candles a holder, 10 sanitizers, and 6 hand soaps lol. All of it was about 100 bucks. The employees greeted me as soon as I walked in and after letting me browse a lovely employee by the name of Rebecca helped me pick my candles. I'm shocked at how knowledgeable they were about the items. Everything was great.... except.. I didn't appreciate how many times the security guard and I locked eyes. I found it weird I would look over at that direction and he would be looking at me. I even tested him like "let me walk behind this thing". And there he strolled into eye view. Not a deal breaker tho but come on, I'm not shoving a huge white barn candle in my pants bro calm down. Other than that I'm coming in again and again. One of the most organized and easy to navigate bath and body works I've ever been to with a friendly, knowledgeable staff.

I absolutely love this location. Everything is clean, and well stocked. It's also huge!! So there is a lot of space to move around. I notice this location has more miscellaneous items (candle sleeves etc) than other BBW I've been to so that's always awesome. The associates are always so helpful. My favorite one is the one at the register: Virginia she is always so helpful and recommends saving money tips such as "If you spend $5 more you will be able to use this coupon" etc. And she knows a lot about the products as well. I went there Saturday the 10th to make a price adjustment however I was 14+ days late and I needed to return my items first then repurchase and the girls at the register (I couldn't get the names I'm sorry) were so helpful and patient with my transaction. I know how annoyed some employees get with customers like me (lol) but they were so nice and that made me feel so much better. Aside from the employees and store items, I love the location. It's only about 15 minutes away! I'm so lucky! read more

I as usual, had a terrible experience at this bath and body works location. I went in looking for Vanilla Bean Noel which is a holiday fragrance, I roamed a little until I found it. When I did, I only saw body lotions not body cream, I asked a sales associate about it and she dismissed me by just pointing to the where the fragrances were located for me to look myself. When I asked another associate, she simply told me whatever is out is all they have. When I got to the register to purchase my items the cashier tried to force me to sign up for coupons and notifications on the screen by telling me to press "yes," when I pressed "skipped" he got really annoyed and said "well I guess not." He then lied again when I said I don't need to click yes because I'm already signed up and said in order to keep receiving coupons you must give your email each time. My entire experience here was unpleasant and I will not be going to this location again. read more

I had such an unpleasant experience at this location today that I just had to write about it. I went into this store looking to take advantage of the after Christmas sale and purchase the limited edition holiday candles. When I couldn't find the fragrance I wanted I asked the sales girl on the floor for assistance she was more than happy to help me. As she was helping me look for it she was approached by the manager who rudely said to her "We don't look for candles. You're not here to be searching. That's not what this is about" with such attitude that I was actually embarrassed for her. I not only felt disrespected as a customer but I felt badly for the sales girl having to deal with someone speaking to her in that manner for doing her job. I asked him to step aside so I could speak to him in private and told him he was being disrespectful not only to me but his employee as well and he responded "that's how we do things take it up with corporate" when I said I will and I will not be making any purchases he again rudely responded "take it up with corporate" If Corporate is reading this... Very nice store, smartly laid out to catch your eye and the staff were very friendly. Made my 1st purchase just before Admin's day & was pleased with the purchase. I almost left the store, however, because the music was at club level & awful as well. But I really wanted to get something there.
