This is a convenient Sephora location; it's inside of the Atlantic Mall in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. It's a decent size with a great inventory of products to choose from. I usually purchase skincare products and/or fragrances when shopping at Sephora. My most recent experience wasn't the best; my cashier was not friendly. Also, I had to repeat myself about 3 times regarding not wanting my $2 change back. She mentioned that she didn't have small bills in here till which was fine with me. I was in the area running errands and decided to stop by and grab a few things but only left with 2 items because not only is this location very small, but the things I wanted were either not stocked in this location or either stolen or sold out. Most of the staff did stare at me instead of asking if I wanted help. The one that did ask if I needed help didn't really help at all. It felt more like a brush off. I go here today to pick up an order for my daughter and the lady asks to see my bar code and scanned it and literally right after she scanned it a white woman walked uo for her package and all she did was ask for her name. I came here for a hydrafacial for my graduation photos i took, and it was perfect. I made my reservation online, and arrived a bit early because i didn't want to be late. They started me right on time which was perfect because i was kind of in a rush. I had Vanessa do my facial, and before she tested my skin to inform me of my skin type, and products that can help my skin flourish. That information was very helpful. The facial took about 30 mins and my skin felt wonderful after. It was glowing, dewy and felt so refreshed. I added a service of lash installation by another artist, (her name evades me) and she did a great job. They informed me that they do makeup tutorials in case i wanted a class. I came in here to look for the rare beauty lip liner that's been out of stock everywhere for the past 6 weeks, although they did not have it (not their fault) the customer service I received from Khadijah and Promise exceeded my expectations. Khadijah was the cashier who's job was so simply help me with my return, but she went as far as leaving the cash register to go seek for an item on the floor for me instead of just sending me over to someone else, the item couldn't be found so she then offered to order it online, also sold out online, so she just did my return. After getting off the line I bumped into promise, I inquired about 1 setting powder and she went on to show me 2 others as well.. giving me a run down of the pros and cons and helping me find my right shade, all without me asking her. I had a really positive experience at this Sephora- my husband was specifically looking for a product for facial skincare and the employees really took the time to help my husband find what he was looking for. The cashier even gave him some tips on how to exfoliate better and recommended some methods to keep his skin healthy! i cannot believe this is happening, i have been a fan of this brand for 7 YEARs, I've used their lipsticks since my middle school dance recital, ive been loyal and what did I get for it?? a broken heart! It all started a week ago when my fiancé (technically boyfriend but I was going to propose at our next mudslides and movie marathon but whatvr) told me we should go out to dinner and I should dress up. I was over the gosh darn moon. Then i saw this Sephora product on my feed & thought OOH PERFECT! I'll get a new snazzy color to pucker up on my man with, wink wink right ladies ;) so I ran to Sephora and got the last one. i put it on and the color and feel was fantastick! The formula didn't smell weird at all and trust me I know weird smells and I adored how it complimented my eyes. but then the day of reckoning came.. i went out to the dinner with my fianceboyfriend and it was the worst day of my life. never have I been laughed at and pointed at more than in that applebees across Mickey D's. I thought maybe they were pointing at someone behind me until jeremy drove up in his golf cart. he looked so handsome in his tuxedo t-shirt :3 but...as he pulled up to the curb his smile faded and he looked shocked. And then my world CRASHEDD! he stuck his finger out and pointed right at my lips and called me a freak!! he heckin LAUGHED AT ME, the waiters laughed, the stupid kids from before laughed... I wish I could've portal zapped them! THE NERVE UGHH!!! I ran home and scrubbed this cursed lipstick off Never using again. I like this Sephora. It's a smaller location than many of the Manhattan ones BUT let me tell you something. They often have all the products. I've been spoiled! When I go to the big midtown Sephoras, they are often out of a lot of popular products. I've never had to deal with that with this location. The staff is super nice. The other thing to note is that they always have the cleaning pads and make up removers. A lot of sephoras run out and the staff don't replace them--in my experience as a customer, it seems like this Sephora is well managed. read more

The girls that work at this location are horrible!! The one Hispanic young lady she had black hair in a bun I requested her help with some products that my esthetician told me to get and she wouldn't help me at all she just stood there. Then I see the security guard following me around looking at me. I was completely confused and disgusted. Then another woman came over she had black hair with copper tips.. the Hispanic lady told her something in their little headphone set, so I proceeded to ask her what was funny???She said I'm the manager I have to look around the whole store... ummm excuse me I didn't ask you that so you obviously feel guilty about something. One of the worst experiences I've had. Sephora was not that busy. All the sales people were milling about or talking to random. I was waiting in line which they all saw. The lady who was buying ahead of me had serious issues with her credit. I was ignored. No one else was called to the register to help. It was only when I put stuff back that someone came out and said are you ok? Or are you finding everything ok. Couldn't even be honest and say hey sorry. Her energy is so welcoming and honestly I wasn't even going in to shop for any foundation. I went in with all intentions of just buying perfume because the ship had sailed with wanting to get match correctly here. My prior experience was horrible, I was matched with a color that was not me and even with me showing and telling the girl it was like she didn't want to hear it. But when I went the other day I seen they had the Mario foundation that everyone has been raving about! I ran into Naomi in the isle and figured why not give it a try! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN SUCH A LONG TIME! I FINALLY have a foundation that matches! Awesome Sephora located inside the Atlantic Terminal mall! The manager of the store, Laura, and the Sephora associate Shenise are extremely helpful and accommodating! The store is huge and has a very nice poster at the registers, A+ for the advertisement. This location is very convenient, it's central to all the shops and Barclays right across the street. They had what I wanted to buy in-stock and even the security guard was greeting everyone and pleasant! read more

Went in twice and the same employee(didn't catch his name) helped me out and his service will keep me coming back!!!
