As often as I shop here I am always impressed with this market in every aspect of it!…read moreThe choices and items this location has is very overwhelming and also it makes your shopping complete Having everything in one store! Fresh flowers are the Best here! I mean they have a vast selection and varieties that you will go home with flowers of your own! The difference sections are truly unique! The meat department the fish department the bakery department the cheese department and so on and so forth! Walk up and down the aisle and look for great sale deals! The shelves are full and the amount of items will overwhelm you! Even the cashiers are so helpful and pleasant and from the many places I have shopped around this location is amazing and I see items I like to try! What can I say that I wished there were other Wegmans in Quincy or Braintree or South Shore! They will blow the competition out of the water! It's a really nice atmosphere and you will spend a long time here shopping!

Disappointed in Wegmans…read more... Placed a cake order for my son's 6th birthday. I called to confirm specifics on the cake design, and submitted two weeks in advance. 24 hours before pickup time, I received a confirmation email/reminder to pick up the cake. 12 hours before pickup, at 9PM, I received a call saying they could not make the cake design, and cited a copy right issue. Wegmans had no response to me asking why I was informed so late, and no response to me that I previously called to confirm they could do this cake. Honestly, leaving me to try to fix my 6 year olds birthday cake for his party with less than 10 hours before the party should be zero stars...

I prefer to patronize businesses in the town I live in and don't like to write negative reviews…read more Unfortunately, the only positive thing I can say about the store is that many employees are friendly and helpful-was happy that an employee told me why I shouldn't buy the lobster rolls this year. Big Y is the only store in Massachusetts that does not sell bagged organic apples-I have mentioned this to some in the corporate office and I know that one of their suppliers have asked the store to sell these-was told that they make more money selling loose apples. I tried their hot chicken wing bar twice and both times they were overcooked-guess that's an issue there. There are some basic items that I have to purchase elsewhere - frozen grassfed burgers, quick cooking steel cut oats, organic flour tortillas (even Walmart has these), previously frozen wild salmon at the counter where they cut what you want. The store manager is a hard worker but guess he is quiet because I can barely get him to say hi to me. I have never seen him interact with any customers. I am hoping that after someone reads this review they will be interested in improvement.

This is the *ONLY* place I will grocery shop. I have my system down - bring in those awesome…read morerecyclable bags they sell for 99 cents each, grab my little lazer gun, and off I go! This is only of the only S&S in the area where you can scan the bar code and the item comes up on your gun (imagine it like registering for a wedding or baby) and then at the end you check out at a register by swiping your S&S card, scanning a bar code, and watching in awe when your entire order pops up. Scan any coupons and off you go - having already bagged your groceries how YOU want to in the recycle bags. Not one for those bags? No biggie... you can get some standard paper or plastic ones at the lazer gun kiosk. Another advantage to the lazer gun? Because it is so quick upon checkout you can even use the "fast lane" - yes that 12 and under aisle that is quicker than the rest. Perfect! This particular S&S also has a ton of self checkout options so you can really just do your thing. Great quality of food, store is always clean, they always have great sales, and the staff are actually really nice and helpful. Conveniently located at a 4-way intersection on route 1 so you can get to it from any direction and they have really awesome hours. My only downfall - on the self-checkout the bar code you need to scan never wants to work. It is really frustrating! Eventually you can get it to sync up with your scanner but you'll need patience... it's one glitch in a pretty flawless system so it isn't a huge deal but worth mentioning.

Ahold USA ruined Hannaford when they merged with Delhaize. How necessary are corporate offices to…read morerunning a grocery store? Prices have shot up while simultaneously removing every convenient offering they had for customers. The only people who shop at hannaford are the people who think Market Baskets are too busy! Some genius level decisions by the "corporate minds", store near the coast? Remove lobster tank. Remove seafood counter. Remove pharmacy! Take away the service at the deli counter! Stop doing thanksgiving dinners! Mark up the same exact McCormick spices by FIVE DOLLARS over market basket. All while having offensive prices and underpaying their staff. But hey! At least the corporate people can strut around stores during their visits like kings and block aisles and ignore customers. If you have any self respect Stop & Shop and Hannaford (merged company) should be avoided. They do not care about their customers experience. But the epic cherry on top, who's the genius in the corporate office who decided on a rebrand, changing the Stop lights to a Microsoft fruit basket, making their employees wear yellow and purple like Party City employees, all the signage changes of stores and trucks etc, only to change it all back!! How much money did the rebrand and return cost? Imagine stopping these rediculous shenanigans to justify corporate salaries and pass the savings onto customers and employees? Terrible company!

Aldi gets high marks on value but low marks on overall experience. This is a convenient location…read morenear 95 which makes it easy for me to get to. It's also just a short drive to Trader Joe's in Foxboro where I generally prefer to do most of my shopping. Major deals here on staple items like milk, flour, sugar and butter. I am planning to bake this weekend so this was a good spot to get the essentials. They also have an excellent selection of nice cheeses at great prices. If you're putting together a cheese plate or a recipe heavy on the cheese, stop here first. I was lured in by their German items that come out around this time of year too. We tried the savory strudels which were okay but I'm not dying to get these again. Main detracting factor here is the 25 cent cart rental (keep a spare quarter handy in your wallet) and how instead of bagging your groceries they just dump everything in the cart and you have to bag your own. Due to those two factors I generally prefer to shop elsewhere unless I am baking or really want to save on staple items.

Peggy had a bad day"…read more I'm honestly disappointed. Usually my experiences at Aldi is always a pleasant one. Almost to the point where I've said "thank you for being so nice" to a cashier that normally works there, it's just unfortunate that today was not the case. I had maybe 6 items which I already had a bag for so I didn't bother to grab a cart that I'd normally do when I'd come to shop. I put my items down and the cashier at the register said " Peggy is is about to open you can head over there. I get it, she was probably about to leave for the day or whatever but I did what I was told and placed my items on the next runway It was OBVIOUS that Peggy was already having a bad day so as she came to the register I smiled and said "thank you" Peggy then started tapping her hand and and firmly said "next time if you needed money for a cart we have it right here!!" I apologized and said " well I only have a few things and thought that it would not be a problem " Guess I was wrong because she then said with the same tone "well when you don't have a carriage it slows me down!!" I looked over at the next customer and she had a FULL cart of items so the next transaction was going to take a little more time than my 6 items which she jammed into the bag I had. But she wasn't done, after telling me my total she blurted out " you see how expensive things get?!?! " I just said thanks and told her to have a better day and left I'm coming off of a 10 hour shift and still needed to head home and cook for my family. I didn't need her attitude whatsoever. I can guarantee that if the tables were turned and it was me I probably wouldn't have a job any longer. I wanted to call and ask to speak with a manager but I felt that this would work just as well. Hope you had a better day Peggy, take care. Praying that my next experience at Aldis is better than this
