Crust was cooked just right. Ambiance wise, it definitely a basic pizza place. Few tables. Looks like they primarily cater to take out. Which is ok since the calzone was really good. It looked simple enough so I ordered a steak bearnaise with fries and a $5 vanilla shake, and then cleaned up the room while I waited 30 min for my food to be ready. When I went to pick up my order, they made the shake on the spot which was nice for freshness, and gave me my to go bag. Back in my room I opened my to go box to find that I had been utterly catfished by the photo on the online menu. This is probably one of the least appetizing meals I've ever seen, with the congealed yellow sauce on top looking like slices of cheese, and the fries were so overcooked yet soggy that they are orange and look like sweet potato fries. I ordered my steak medium and it honestly looks well done, but thankfully to my relief the steak was tender and actually pretty tasty. The fries were not great but still edible, each fry completely soggy. I don't know what went wrong here, maybe the timing that they put on Toast? Because I'd like to assume my steak and fries were done for at least 5 minutes before I picked it up, and the website only said it was probably ready when I got there. The vanilla shake on the other hand was perfect, and given that I was ravenous from a day of travel, I did actually end up finishing my meal, after scraping off some of the congealed sauce. Altogether there's something about the online ordering experience that needs to be fixed, as I'm sure the food would've been at least slightly better if I had it fresh. I had thought the 30 min wait time was long but reasonable if there were many customers, but when I went to pick up the food there were only three tables of people. The actual restaurant was very retro and nicely decorated, so maybe I'd advise to skip the to go order and dine in person.

They were ready, fresh and on time. The employees were super friendly, offering plates, extra peppers and cheese, and even a 2 liter of soda on the house. The service was only out matched by the quality of food. Our pizzas were amazing. Hot and crisp and overflowing with toppings. We will be back no doubt. We may try dine in next time.
