I had my vehicle towed to Dailey's in Middletown, PA., my front bumper was hit, They said, my car was totaled so I took their word for it. I went to a notary, and had the title changed over to them, as we were walking into the notary, the owner said, to me don't tell her how much I paid for this and then he said, just don't say anything. I was not thinking clearly because of the whiplash that I suffered in this accident, which I am still doctoring for. He never gave me any money. I have been thinking about this, and I thought I never got any money so I called him and he said, to me and you're not going to get any. read more

Last year after Thanksgiving I went to start my car and smoke begain pouring out and there was a burning smell. I normally go to Dailys and called them for a tow. I am not a car guy, and thought it may have been a problem with the starter. The mechanic agreed that it may be the problem, and towed it in. I called them 2 days later and was asked if I wanted to go ahead and replace the starter, around 700 dollars. I needed my car and said ok. When i went to pick it up the next day, I was told there was good news and bad news. The good being the starter was replaced, the bad was that wasnt the problem with my car and it was the ac compressor, and they did not have my type of coolant to fix it. I was devestated, I had no money to spend on my family for christmas and my car still didnt work. THEN, ABOUT FOUR MONTHS LATER my starter actually DID go out. Dont worry, its under warranty. They charged me $500 dollars to replace THEIR mistake as another mechanic told me they were shipped some bad starters. to put the cherry on top, the first mechanic lied. He knew it wasnt the starter, because when the starter goes, nothing happens when you try to start it. There is no black smoke or burning smell. They robbed me and a year later I am still struggling to catch up on rent and billls. Its hard to believe a business would take advantage of someone that doesnt know enough about cars like that. read more

I have had 2 separate encounters with Daileys within the past 2 years. My car needed a new alternator and some other stuff done. It took them almost a week to tow my car to their garage to even begin the work, which took them 3 more days than i was told to get the work done. Then after i had the work done, my battery light was still on. Fast forward a year down the road and find out that they installed a faulty alternator, which they would have known had they tested it right, then got an attitude with me when i called them about it. Definitely will never take any of my vehicles here ever again. read more

They towed my car on a Friday night. The fella who runs the place went out of his way to return my car to me after hours, twice. Once to submit a partial payment and the next to accept the rest and return the vehicle. When I got my vehicle back the battery was dead and he grabbed a booster pack and jumped it for me.
