After trying to jump start the battery with no luck, the gas station attendant called down to Trademark for me.

I cannot express enough how disgusted and furious I am with Team One Auto and Jason Warren, the…read moreowner. I purchased a transmission from them and almost immediately had problems. The service light came on and the vehicle has not run correctly since. I did my part -- I reached out multiple times, sent emails, even attached proof with photos of the service light -- and I was completely ignored. Not one reply. Not one phone call. Nothing. That's not just bad customer service, that's pure negligence and flat-out disrespect. This place will gladly take your hard-earned money, but the second there's an issue, they vanish and leave you holding the bag. It's shady, dishonest, and exactly the type of behavior that gives auto shops a terrible reputation. Jason Warren clearly does not care about his customers or standing behind the work his business puts out. To ignore a paying customer who has a legitimate issue is beyond unprofessional -- it's insulting. I shouldn't have to beg for accountability. A transmission is not a cheap part, and for it to fail immediately and then be met with total silence is absolutely outrageous. Do not trust Team One Auto. If you buy something from them, pray it works, because once you drive off their lot, you are on your own. They will not help you, they will not respond, and they certainly will not take responsibility. I will never do business here again, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid Team One Auto at all costs. If you don't want to be cheated, ignored, and left with a worthless part in your car, stay far away from Jason Warren and his shop.

Had my car inspected here. They didn't pass it because of "right inner tie rod had some play"…read more My husband, who used to be an inspections tech back in the day in PA, checked it. NO play. He calls them- they said "oh the paper does say right, we meant left." And this was also after we bought the part to change it. Guess what- NO PLAY on the left either. He calls and they said he's doing it wrong. He takes it to them for them to show him where the play was. It's so minute- and definitely not the 1/4 inch it takes to fail an inspection. He takes it to another inspection station- guess what- IT PASSED. And this is after he asked them to look at this particular "issue." They said it was so minute- it's not even a concern at this point and will be fine. This company stole money from us. They should not have failed our vehicle based off of PA laws. Do not go here!!!!!

I was driving back to Upstate New York from seeing the solar eclipse in Asheville, and a horrible…read moregrinding noise started to come out from under the hood of my 2001 Honda Civic in Northern Virginia. I couldn't figure out what it was, and kept driving, until finally, in a small town in Pennsylvania I'd never heard of, the battery light flashed on, and I pulled over into a gas station parking lot to find that the belt running my alternator and A/C compressor had snapped. What a nightmare. I've never had a car break down before, let alone on a long roadtrip, and it's always been one of my worst fears. Yet, as luck would have it, I was just a quarter-mile down the road from HC Automotive, and when I walked in holding my broken alternator belt, half an hour before closing, Jon not only managed to reassure me with a calm explanation of the potential causes, but immediately ordered a replacement belt, and printed out a map for me so I could drive to his shop on the back roads, without having to pay for a tow. When he looked at the engine and discovered that the A/C compressor pulley had seized up--a fix way more expensive and way more time-consuming than just a new belt--he suggested we instead replace it with a shorter belt for an A/C-less Civic, bypassing the A/C compressor, and thus enabling me to continue my drive (albeit sweatily). He spent quite a bit of time on the phone trying to find the belt, but it was the end of the day, and parts for a rare version of a 16-year-old car aren't that easy to find, and so he wouldn't have been able to get one until the next day. So he instead put in a generic belt of the right length, albeit with one fewer rib. Hooray! It worked perfectly, and got me all the way home, turning what I thought was going to be an overnight stay into just a few hours' delay. The cost was $246, of which $38 was for the belt, and $175 for an hour and a half-ish of labor (the last hour of which was after the posted closing hours). Plus, his shop has free coffee, wi-fi, a clean restroom, and a good assortment of golfing magazines :). Thanks, Jon!
