I told her that's impossible, I texted my husband 7/23 & wrote on calendar. She said well I cant get you in now until 8/21. I thought that was too far ahead & she put our appt incorrectly. We went elsewhere (Crowne Auto next day appt) so we didnt have a chance to use their service. Rep should write in appts as she gives them on the phone to better organize for future clients.

The last time I had a brake job done there was an issue with the dust shield scraping. Brought it back in and they remedied the situation. My only complaint is that they took off my out of state front vanity plate to pass inspection. That was not necessary, as I asked a State police man if that was an issue and he said no, because Pa does not have front license plate. So, I just put it back on. They had some staffing issues due to COVID-19, which screwed things up a bit because I had to take off of work twice for an inspection. That ticked me off a bit. The shop owner said he tried calling me, but I had no missed calls, so....? Oh well, they're right around the corner and convenient. Plus, you can go to Gilligan's for beer & food while your car is being worked on.

I explained that my throttle dashboard light came on, and Charlton said I might need the $70.00 diagnostic test to turn it off and determine the throttle problem. Charlton also asked me about the size of my engine. I scheduled an appointment and canceled it because the throttle light went out. Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I appreciated the messaging that helped me determine what my vehicle needed. What's valuable? The excellent customer service in fielding my throttle concerns is worth noting.

It turned out to be the brake job from hell because of the poor workmanship of the last owner . An hour project turned into a 3 and a half hour nightmare. He sent me a check to reimburse me for a portion of the labor that it would've cost to install the replacement part under warranty. They only reimbursed me for 1 hour of labor when they originally charged me 1.5 hours to install it. Since they sent me the check and admitted they made a mistake I am updating my review to 3 stars but I still would not trust this Garage in the future and I will not be going back to them. After seeing all the excellent reviews of this place I thought I'd give them a try when I needed my rear drivers side window regulator replaced in June 2022. I am very sorry I did. The service I received definitely didn't live up to the reviews. The first thing that happened was when they called to tell me the window was done they told me my front drivers side window regulator was broke now. I told them to just leave that one go and I would fix that one myself because I couldn't afford to have them fix both at the moment. For the drivers side rear one they charged $165 for the part (which only cost about $100 in the store) and $135 for labor for a total of $318 just to fix the one window. I don't consider that reasonable like all the reviews say. The shop I normally go to told me they would do it for about $100 less when I called to get a quote to get the newly broken front drivers side window regulator. I told Lauger's I wanted my old broken window regulator back because it had a lifetime warranty and I wanted to exchange it at the store where I bought it to have a spare. Lauger's LIED and told me they put the old part in my car. They kept it and I'm sure they returned it to NAPA and got more money back from it since it was a NAPA part! 16 Months after Lauger's replaced the rear window regulator it broke and the window was stuck down. Since Lauger's is a NAPA Auto Care Center I called them to have them replace it under the NAPA 24 Month/ 24,000 Mile Parts and Labor Guarantee. Lauger's LIED again and told me the part is covered 2 years but labor is only 1 year. I called NAPA Corporate and confirmed that the part and the labor should both be covered for 2 years at Lauger's and they didn't understand why they would tell me only 1 year labor. I honestly don't want Lauger's anywhere near my vehicles after this because I don't trust what they might do so I accepted their offer and picked up the new window regulator from them and installed it myself. When I took the broken window regulator out I noticed that it didn't even match the part # that Lauger's said they installed on my bill! This is outright fraud! I think they must have installed a cheaper part than the part # they charged me for on the bill which is why they refuse to honor the warranty. Don't make the same mistake I did by believing the glowing reviews this place gets because it's definitely not true. I learned an expensive lesson by putting my trust in them and will definitely not be going back and will also be telling everyone I know to stay far away from this place.
