Great service! Andre and Brucene are a dynamic husband and wife team. They showed up on time, gave a courtesy call before arrival. After a quick tour of the house they immediately started working on cleaning my air ducts. They were very respectful of my home, always asked permission before entering any room. I had this company come out and clean the ducts in a condo that I am renovating, following a mold remediation. Two workers came out and cleaned the ducts - and THREW AWAY the vent covers! That would not have been a really big problem if it were not for the fact that they are ODD sizes that I can not find replacements for. I have given the company ample time to remedy the situation, but instead of helping me find the replacements for the vent covers their workers threw away - I have been lied to, and about, and given the runaround. I plan to take them to small claims court to get back the money I spent on the cleaning and the cost of the vent covers, which will have to be special ordered - if this situation is not remedied to my satisfaction. read more

We had an appointment for Daffy Ducts today(Tuesday). First thing, they tried to do is change the appointment date several times last week. Today, on the day of the appointment, they tried to arrive 4 hours early. So, when they did arrive(about an hour late), they told us that they could not service our house because they did not bring the proper equipment. They had never interviewed us about the details so they would be prepared to clean the ducts in our house. They rescheduled us for Friday. Some time later, they offered us an earlier appointment(Wednesday). It did not fit our schedule. We expressed that we were disappointed after rearranging furniture in our home, and taking the day off from work to have the ducts cleaned without being serviced. This rearranging process took several days. Apparently, they do not like people expressing regret. They promptly called us back and cancelled the appointment that they had just made for this Friday. I never heard of blaming the customer for being unprepared, bad scheduling, an equipment shortage, and the lack of interviewing skills. My husband was upset that they wanted to cancel, but I think we will end up with a much better contractor. Some of their reviews look pretty bad. read more

I hired Daffy Ducts to come inspect why our dryer was getting so hot in our new (older) home. Upon inspection, the guys found out that the dryer hose was made of plastic and that the previous owners of the house hadn't maintained them and they had actually melted away. It was a serious fire hazard.They guys removed the old hose, climbed up on our roof to find the dryer vent and fed a new house through the vent, through our closet and to the dryer. It took a LOT of work, but they did a wonderful job. They even ran out to Home Depot to replace a part of our closet that they had to cut through to replace this super hard to reach hose. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail, making sure that they did the job right. The project took about 4 hours and they were extremely professional. Just had Daffy Ducts service this afternoon & I had to write a review and hope to let consumer who are looking for duct cleaning service to know about my experience with Daffy Ducts today - horrified by the unprofessional staff. 2 staffs got here on time and they started immediately. Noted that I have 2 separate units one for upstairs and one downstairs. They start by opening all the vent - supply ducts/return ducts from each room and show me what one of the vent looks like inside before it is cleaned. The upstairs was done very quickly. Then a staff asked where my downstairs furnace is located and I lead him to the crawl-space where the unit is. It was obvious to me at the point that he didn't want to get in. So we came right back in to the house and he continue cleaning the downstairs. About 10-15mins later, he said that he is wrapping up (my house is a 3000sq. 2floors/4.5bedrooms, 2.5 bath) At that point, something just told me it doesn't feel right and I was in the house the whole time so I knew what is going on with everything. He was checking the list off and I asked him if I can look at the list he said yes. I went thru the list that he checked off and asked what each one of them is and he explained it. I stopped and question about the furnace line where he checked off if it was done. He said yes and that he forgot to tell me the furnace needs a new filter. I at that time knew what he said was not true. And he quickly changed subject and told me something else. I waited until he finished what he needed to say then told him I was not aware that he went to the outside crawl-space & that he was inside the house the whole time. And boy, you can really tell from that face when someone is not telling the truth. He said: "Well, if you like, I can re-do the furnace for you, I am sure that's what my boss would like me to do" and he went to his vent and grab the machine out, the extension cord and starts to clean the crawl-space furnace. I was furious, angry and I want them out of the house at that point. He also came inside the hosue with an attitude when he was done with the crawl-space. I signed a check for $340 immediately because I want them out asap. That's right, it costs $340 and wait till you hear what else they have left behind for me to do afterward. After I paid, I have to tell you at that point, I felt stupid & I am not even sure if my upstairs furnace was cleaned. Not to mentioned other service that was included such as Anti-microbial application. They also didn't show me what afterward looks like (paper work said before & after video). Tonight, I had to clean up their mess where they open/put back all the vent where dry-wall debris were under the vent on the floor, on beds, on carpet. Yes, they didn't vacuumed/clean-up afterward. And when I went to my make-up table tonight, it was covered in dust. These experience drove me to write a review immediately. I am extremely angry not only it ruined my day, it also violated my trust in home servicing company. Just to be fair, I had to say that the company Daffy Ducts is fully responsible for this horrific experience because they hired such unprofessional person (it was 2 staffs that came over but one of them being unprofessional & took advantage of the consumer if he was not caught lying). 1 star is actually overrated. read more

I was having an issue with a fairly new high end dryer. The technician felt that the problem was a partially clogged duct. I did not believe this because we always cleaned where the hose entered the wall and where it vented out the side of the house. After procrastinating a few months and noticing it taking longer and longer to dry loads, I called Daffy Ducts service. They did an excellent job where I worked installing new ductwork. Well, I was AMAZED how much lilt and dog hair they got out!!! I can't wait to see how clothes dry. We were lucky we did not have a fire! The technicians cleaned up, were friendly and arrived on time. We have a long duct that bends a couple of times before exiting. Apparently, this is something we need to have done on a yearly basis. We will! read more

I used their service back in late January to clean dryer vents in my business. When we returned after being closed due to Covid there was an extreme amount amount of moisture in the air. After emlimatimg other possibilities I thought I would call and see if they would come take a look to see if perhaps it was related to what was done prior to closing. I called, a time was set and no one showed, I received a text saying they would be there the following day. Someone did show up, took a look and left. Not much helpful information was given. Upon returning the next morning the ceiling tile was left hanging and dust and debris were all over the floor and counter tops in the restroom which was were he was looking at the vents. I called and asked if he could come and put it back the way he found it. They assured me someone would be in that afternoon. Once again, no one showed nor called. The next day after not hearing a word I call back and ask that someone come before the end of the day due to use not being able to use that restroom. Yes, I could have cleaned up after him and fixed it however it's just the obvious fact of no integrity for their job. Someone did come out now 2 days later, put the tile back and explained to one of my employees "the ceiling tile is bent" you have a moisture issue which is probably causing this! UMMM there was nothing wrong with the ceiling tile prior to him coming out and OF COURSE I have a moisture issue that is why you were there in the first place!! Complete lack of not only customer care is but wanting to shrug off the whole ordeal is mind blowing. As a business owner I could never treat a customer in the manner I have been treated over this. I guess it was because I was follow up and more of a inconvenience of their time and day. Definitely will find someone else that would like to keep a customer happy for future service and for referrals. read more

Daffy Ducts sent 2 people out and they arrived within the time frame. They did their work and seemed efficient and professional. We had 3 units and a dryer vent so they were here for sometime. Everything went well accept they said their video camera was not working and they would not be able to get pictures of teh ducts before and after as they promised on the phone. I wanted to hire Daffty Ducts to clean the air ducts at my house. I read a lot of reviews about them and also I watched the video on youtube. Two guys showed up at my house and they only had the rotobrush and a small vacuum. I asked them where is the negative vacuum system, the one they are showing on their web site. They told me they do not need that to clean the air ducts. Couple of minutes later Matt showed up and I asked him the same question. I got the same answer, they do not need the negative vacuum to clean the air ducts. I pulled my phone and I showed him the video they posted on youtube. He ended up telling me if I want them to use that vacuum it will cost me around $1,000.00. I ended up telling them to leave. Matt, the operation manager told me: "You don't know shit about this man!". I told him that I agree with him and that is why I watched at least 20 videos on youtube to learn how this process is done and how to recoqnize scams. I hired Sears to do the air ducts cleaning. They came at my house yesterday, they had the right equipment and they did a great job. I am happy I didn't use Daffty Ducts. With their rotobrush they will only move the dust around and it will make it worst. read more
