He lost his dad last year and the tattoo is a memorial, so it is very important to him. I have plenty of experience with tattoos and tattoo shops with over 14 tattoos of my own. I didn't want to take my never inked, naive cousin to the place that I frequent due to difference in art style and the edgier/harder atmosphere, so based on friends' experiences with Evermore and the clientele they usually receive (college town, locals, walk-ins) I thought this would be the perfect place for him. The piercer placed the jewelry at visibly different angles, and the left one ended up rejecting completely. The bar pushed through the center of my nipple and left permanent damage. She was originally going to use clamps, then randomly decided to freehand it instead -- which I'm positive contributed to the left piercing being placed incorrectly. It was clearly in a different spot and angle than the right. I followed all aftercare instructions, but the poor placement made healing impossible. If you have small nipples or unique anatomy, I strongly warn against getting pierced here. The piercer clearly didn't assess or adjust technique to fit my body at all. This was deeply upsetting and avoidable. Please go somewhere more experienced. I'd also like to add that on the same day, I had this piercer change my septum jewelry from a horseshoe to a full hoop. Once I got to my car, I realized she had bent the jewelry badly and left it in my nose that way. I had to go back in and have it changed immediately. I'm literally devastated. I put all of my trust into her. This was emotionally damaging, physically painful, and just disgusting overall. She should be held accountable for such horrible practice -- period.

I didn't know the pain/discomfort level would be I was surprised how it was discomfort not pain. I told him that wasn't bad and he told me he had been doing this for 18 years.
