I brought my newly 18 year old cousin to Evermore this afternoon to make an appointment for his first tattoo. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted warmly by the receptionist and one of the artists who pointed us in the direction of another artist in shop that would work the best for the piece my cousin is wanting. He lost his dad last year and the tattoo is a memorial, so it is very important to him. I have plenty of experience with tattoos and tattoo shops with over 14 tattoos of my own. I didn't want to take my never inked, naive cousin to the place that I frequent due to difference in art style and the edgier/harder atmosphere, so based on friends' experiences with Evermore and the clientele they usually receive (college town, locals, walk-ins) I thought this would be the perfect place for him. It totally is. Thank you so much for making his first tattoo experience pleasant, not intimidating and so far very smooth. He is due in next week and I am more than comfortable after meeting his artist Cole, who was very informative and kind. Two thumbs up from this overprotective family member! read more

ARTIST NAME: Zoie Williams DATE OF PIERCING: March 17th, 2025 I had a horrible experience getting my nipple piercings here. The piercer placed the jewelry at visibly different angles, and the left one ended up rejecting completely. The bar pushed through the center of my nipple and left permanent damage. She was originally going to use clamps, then randomly decided to freehand it instead -- which I'm positive contributed to the left piercing being placed incorrectly. It was clearly in a different spot and angle than the right. I followed all aftercare instructions, but the poor placement made healing impossible. If you have small nipples or unique anatomy, I strongly warn against getting pierced here. The piercer clearly didn't assess or adjust technique to fit my body at all. This was deeply upsetting and avoidable. Please go somewhere more experienced. I'd also like to add that on the same day, I had this piercer change my septum jewelry from a horseshoe to a full hoop. Once I got to my car, I realized she had bent the jewelry badly and left it in my nose that way. I had to go back in and have it changed immediately. I'm literally devastated. I put all of my trust into her. This was emotionally damaging, physically painful, and just disgusting overall. She should be held accountable for such horrible practice -- period. read more

I recently got a tattoo at Evermore and I truly had high hopes - the place is immaculate and presented in a way that really promotes them as serious and professional. However, when I called to set up my appointment I was not given the option to pick my artist, nor did they seem to care about having a conversation with me so I was then never told who would be helping me, who had availability, or who I could pick. They just said, this day works at this time - see you there! Then hung up! Should've been the first red sign, but I trusted them still! I had never heard anything but greatness from them! When I went to get my tattoo, my artist never introduced themself, rushed me through trying to explain what I wanted, then gave me zero feedback and eventually, never followed through what I wanted. I asked them to make a design based on what I wanted, then was never really shown the stencil and only saw pictures of the stencils placed for a solid 2 seconds without being able to really view the design. (At this point I had said that they were the artist - they knew how the body worked, and asked where they would place the stencil, they were helpful in explaining that a slight change to the location would work better!) After the tattoo was finished, I was flashed a photo of it again, and realized it looked a bit weird but I said I was happy because I couldn't really see it and left on a good note! Once I got home, I snapped a pic, inspected it, and immediately cried for hours. I am truly embarassed at how bad this tattoo is. Not only did they not listen to what I asked, they made a the tattoo in a way that completely disregards logic and seems careless, clearly not caring about the finished outcome. Every line on this tattoo is extremely wavy when they should have been straight. The shape is COMPLETELY wrong - they couldn't have referenced the design at all otherwise it would've looked better. The shading looks like a toddler took a crayon to it. He also was tripping over the chair the whole time and seemed like he was careless in general. It's truly so bad that I can't even go back to get it fixed because I refuse to let that artist near me again. I've already looked up coverup ideas, called other shops, and researched laser remover options. The only good thing is that it didn't break the bank as much as I thought it would. The only reason i'm giving Evermore 2 stars at this point is because watching every one else that works there - I can see that they have a level of professionalism and talent. However, I am appalled that this seemed to be a normal thing so I will not be going in the foreseeable future. I do hope them the best and hope that artist was just having a bad day or something. But as a paying customer that is putting my skin in their hands, something that could be there forever, I hope that in the future they take that with more care, grace, and responsibility. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! My mom and I came in to get a small and simple heart tattoo in a reasonable place and they messed it up BIG TIME! They made us keep clear plastic over it for 4 days which just smeared it into our skin making it thick and blurry. I talked to some other friend with tattoos and none of them had to do this. Not the best. The guy was fine but the tattoo was not what I wanted. At all. I figured he would've taken the font I wanted and printed it off but he hand drew it and it looks like a stick and poke. At least it was 60$ so it wasn't to bad for a tat. But still. It's the fact I didn't get what I asked for or expected at all. Definitely do not go to them for fonts. Or script. Definitely do not recommend. Plus the ppl that were working the front desk were not friendly at all and made me feel very awkward and not welcomed. Absolutely terrible customer service. DO NOT go to this place. My tattoo came off within two days and I was told it's because of the placement (finger). I have a different finger tattoo on the other hand, same spot, and it's been vivid for 4 years. I understand touch ups are necessary, but this was within days. There was no apology for doing a bad job on the tattoo to begin with, basically just "it happens." I've never experienced such rudeness from an establishment that clearly made a mistake. Their piercer Shawn is the best you'll find in the area! He has completely flipped the piercing side of things at the shop and you can tell he is truly passionate about his work. He pierced my nostril, navel and gave me a double tragus piercing, all of which I couldn't be happier about. He makes sure that you walk out the door with a perfect piercing, and everything you need to know on taking care of it. Very knowledgeable, and has no problem answering any questions about the piercings. As far as selection for jewelry, I have yet to see any of the neighboring shops compare. The thread-less jewelry options are amazing and if he doesn't have what you're looking for he'll order something customized just for you!If you get pierced by anyone else, you are a fool. As far as the tattoo artists go: Carries work and attention to detail is absolutely stunning, she's often booked out months in advance, but if you're serious about your tattoo she's more than worth the wait. She takes her time to provide the best tattoo you could get. She always has your drawing ready for you when you arrive and her colors are the most vibrant. Very personable and never leaves you silently, awkwardly sitting getting your work done. I've NEVER seen cleaner lines pulled on a tattoo! Angie has a beautiful portfolio and does some beautiful work with colors, outside of the shop she has started selling her watercolor prints which are severely underpriced for the quality she's giving. Her pin up girls are some of the best I've seen and she loves taking an idea and running with it. Her color work and creativity rock my socks off. Donnie is the cats meow, he doesn't have much of a portfolio in the shop, but the pieces that walk out are always very well done, I will always recommend him especially for larger tattoos, he's the only successful combination of speed and quality I have seen. His shade work and lines always pull the piece together in ways I could never fathom from the initial stencil. Buie is the newest in the tattooing game and has some of the funnest drawings he is always dying to do. If you don't know what you want to get, I would just ask to see what he has on hand. Being something of a perfectionist he takes sometime doing is tattoos, trying to be sure everything is done well, most of his stuff can be seen through his own Facebook and Instagram. With all artists I would say you'll get a better tattoo, if you give them some freedom vs bringing in your Pinterest or Instagram pictures. The work that they kick out is genuinely amazing when given the opportunity to customize your idea. read more

I never review things on yelp but wanted to for this place because of how great the experience was. Buie did our tattoos and we could not be happier. He did an amazing job. Everyone else at the shop was also very helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend Evermore for anyone wanting a new tattoo. read more

I tried to directly contact the person I was looking to make an appointment with, as the website directed, but unfortunately was unable to get a response. However, I sent in a message on the website to inquire about a new ear piercing to correct the alignment of old piercings and got a quick reply back. I was able to walk in and Matt was extremely friendly and invested in getting my piercing history and information about the issue that I came in for. He took extreme care to look at the holes and the alignment and concluded that it was best that I didn't spend the money to get a new piercing. He even offered to have a colleague come in for a second opinion, who offered the same opinion. I was grateful for his honest feedback and that he was truly trying to save me from spending on an unnecessary piercing. I went back to Evermore to get my second tattoo and also my birds retouched. I gotta say, getting a retouch hurt a lot but I'm still very happy with how everything turned out. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I went in to get a small tattoo and the guy was rude and tried to charge me $150 for a small wrist tattoo and I talked him down to 100 and obviously should not have done that because he was rough. I had to go in for a touch up and when he was touching it up he was rough again but I guess he was pissed off because my wrist is now scar tissue. do not come here I've always heard bad things about them but I gave it a shot and I have never been so disappointed. ALSO after I got it done my friends mom told me she had to serve 13 different cases about them to the courts for giving people staff infections. EW!!! read more

I cannot speak on the artists, because I could barely get past the front door. I don't know why this place has been voted the best in the past two years. The young male at the front desk was rude when I went in to ask a question and then rude about a month later when I went in for an ear piercing. He talked very loudly in front of everyone in the waiting area drawing attention and then denied services because my daughter just happened to not have her ID on her, even though I was willing to sign as her guardian. The tattoo looked great at first. Then it became blotchy in spots and faded in others. To get an appointment for a touch up is a year out, you can't make the appointment over the phone, and you have to put down a deposit for a free service. They must have a problem with people forgetting after waiting a year. read more
