I walked in for a set of snakebite piercings and was very happy with the service, pricing, and piercer. She was very nice and accommodating and sat with me as long as it needed to get my scarred over previous snakebites realigned and looking and feeling better than they did before. Will be coming back for more work, looking forward to getting tattoos here as well. Very professional and clean place! read more

I recently received a couple tattoos from here and the lines are clean and they're healing really well. I made an appointment for a half sleeve as well. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Alan is the GOAT. read more

We walked in and asked for Donna. My friend recommended her. We we're put on the books. My friend and I did some running. The first call to alert me I didn't see, but they called back in a few minutes and let us know that Donna was in. The shop is too cool, I mean look at that ceiling! Got our design to Donna and had her tweak it just a bit! Each tattoo took less than 40 minutes, fast and efficient! I would highly recommend this place and Donna! Moderately priced and we we're well taken care of.. read more

Stopped in for a quick tattoo and they did a great job! Will return again soon. Very friendly and clean.

I love this place. Staff is all very approachable and kind. I have seen 2 different artists for walk in tattoos and have had amazing experiences and tattoos both times. I have seen Emma and Diego and plan to return to this shop for my future tattoos read more

All Star is the best. I've stopped in for a small tattoo (on my finger) and it is perfect. I've also gotten pierced here and Nick was so good. read more

Just an absolutely perfect tattoo experience. The shop is impeccably clean and every person on staff was so wonderful and welcoming and answered any and all questions. They take appointments, but we walked right in and they were able to accommodate us just a few minutes later after we filled out all the necessary paperwork. You fill it out online which is so nice and convenient and they also email you instructions on tattoo after-care, which I really appreciated. I can't recall the name of the gentleman who did my daughter's tattoo, but he was just lovely and gave her exactly what she wanted. She was so thrilled. She has several tattoos but the work from here is her favorite. AJ (August Jones) did my tattoo. My first ever! He was wonderful to work with- I told him what I wanted and he drew up a few ideas for me I could choose from. My piece is small, and it only took about 5 minutes- I couldn't believe it! AJ worked fast but he knew what he was doing and is so talented. I just cannot recommend this place more! If you want a tattoo while in the St. Louis area, absolutely definitely go here- they will take such good care of you! read more

thank u to this establishment for being available for me to successively execute my impulsive desires. popped in w a couple gal pals at 2 pm on a friday to get my doubles pierced. we were welcomed in and did the waiver via a QR code (so easy) and then went to the back room together. i wish i remembered the employees name but she did such a quick job it was barely painful at all. would def go back to her for my triples some day. came out to $80 (pre tip!!) for doubles with medium size studs which i think is on the pricier ends but worth the money for something like piercings maybe someday i'll try the tattoo side too;) read more

Cool shop, recommended. I pierced my ears and the piercer is very gentle and patient, I don't feel a lot of pain and it's done very quick read more

Excellent choice in tattoo artists, as well as customer service. I have had a few tattoos done here, including my very first several years age, and have always been extremely happy with the quality of the work. Looking forward to getting my first one this summer at the new location. read more

Chelsea did my nipple piercing for me, an already uncomfortable experience. She was very professional which I can appreciate, but it felt more cold than anything. She did not turn around for me to take my shirt off, nor did she provide an ounce of comfort when I said I was feeling super uncomfortable. Also, one of the bars is not straight through, but rather goes in at the bottom and comes out at the top of my nipple. read more

A long time ago, when I became a hockey fan I prayed to the hockey gods to let the Blues win the cup and stated I'd get the note tattooed on my person if such thing were to happen and this year, it did! Then it was time for me to be true to my word. I did some research and ended up coming here for my celebratory Blue note. I did a walk-in on a Sunday when they first opened. The place was busy and there were several people getting somewhat the same type of tattoo I was getting. Jim Little did mine. He printed different size of the Blue note for me to check out before proceeding. After I had decided on the size and the specifics, he put on the stencil and made sure I was happy with the location before working on the real thing. It took less than 30 minutes and I'm happy with his work. Keep in mind, I only got a small-ish note with the colors and reasonable details. It was $150 before tip which I thought was reasonable. Before check-out, he gave me his card and told me I can come in for free touch-ups if necessary. The place was clean and the staff were all professional. My experience here was overall, a great one. Everyone was friendly and I didn't feel weird at all being in a tattoo shop. This wasn't my first tattoo and might not be my last. As impressed as I was, I would definitely come back here and do recommend it to whoever is looking around for places who do body art work. read more

I had a great experience at this shop. The prices are decent, all of the staff is friendly and Trevor did an amazing job at my double helix piercing. There was no appointment necessary for a piercing and the whole process was super fast! I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. For those of you who want more details, brace yourself I'm about to write an essay: I called beforehand to ask if you can bring your own jewelry and the person who answered the phone was so polite and had great customer service skills, which I would never expect from a piercing/tattoo shop! If anything, his politeness is what made me decide I would go to this shop. By the way, you can bring your own jewelry, but it would take an extra 30 minutes for them to sanitize it. I ended up just using their individually-wrapped, pre-sanitized jewelry because with the jewelry it was only $30 per piercing! Great price!! Right when I walked in and mentioned piercing, Trevor was right there ready to help out. Literally, one second after I said the word piercing. With the phone call and that front desk experience, they were 2 for 2 with first impressions. You also pay afterwards which is nice. I've been to a shop where you pay upfront which makes it awkward for tipping if you don't know how they're going to do. I had a special request for Trevor to space the two hoop piercings so that they would eventually fit a spiral earring I had brought with me. After just glancing at a picture I showed him of what I was looking for, he knew exactly what I wanted and his placement was spot on. He even gave great advice when I wasn't sure if the marks should be moved lower or not. I put all my trust in his expertise and you all should too because he definitely knew what would look best. Only downsides are that my friend who I had brought with me wasn't allowed in the room with me because the room was small. That was the room for ear piercings at least. So, if you were wanting to bring someone with you to hold your hand (me, usually), maybe see if they have any larger rooms. My friend had to sit on a stool in the doorway. Afterwards, Trevor gave me an aftercare handout and wrote on there the saline solution he suggests that I get. He also offered to change my piercing to the spiral one in 4 months and I likely will! read more

I walked in to get an inner conch piercing. Super friendly staff. Had me in and out in no time. Professional body piercer, Chelsea Snapp, was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly. Living out of my home state, it's only a few times a year that I'm reunited with my sisters. While in STL the past weekend, we randomly decided to do something "spontaneous" and decided to get piercings. We checked yelp for the highest rated tattoo and piercing shop nearby and drove over around 5 PM on Saturday evening. We did not have an appointment but we were able be helped after a short 15-20 minute wait. Trevor, our piercer, was PHENOMENAL. He was so caring and professional, and totally calmed my middle sister down, who was having a mild freak out. We decided on cartilage piercings and he offered suggestions on earring sizes, the piercing placement, etc. Trevor chatted with us throughout the process and asked us about our lives. He was truly a pleasure! A short 20-25 min later we were on our way with our new piercings and aftercare recommendations from Trevor. I would highly recommend Trevor and All Star Tattoos to anyone in the STL area. read more

i thought this would be a nice place to get pierced. I had gotten my nose, belly and my second ear piercing. firstly the belly piercing came out two days after and it was extremely painful. and my nose piercing also came out. I contacted the store and they told me I would have to pay more after paying over 200 dollars and their jewelry wouldn't stay in. now both my nose and belly piercings have closed! terrible service and would not return!!! read more

I've gotten the last 3 of my 7 tattoos here and there is a reason I keep going back. All three have been by different artists and all there were amazing. The two on my legs were both walk ins where I knew exactly what I wanted. Walked in, got inked, walked out. The arm mural is the most intricate one I've had done and was designed by Rob from a rough idea I had. He went above and beyond my expectations. I will continue to use All Star for my future ink. This group of guys and gals are true professionals and you will be impressed and happy you did business with them. Years ago I also used thier laser removal service for a tattoo removal and was pleased with the results. read more

Super nice, clean, and helpful in our decision. Loved our experience and appreciate the guaranteed work.

Got my nipples pierced here and they were so understanding and helped me through the whole process! Very professional!

My friend got a piercing here and because of the placement of the piercing, it caused an infection. The piercer did not seemed concerned that she caused this and she recommended waiting to see a doctor until a fever arose (which is very wrong and dangerous advice!). I will not come here for a piercing and will not recommend All Star Tattoos to anyone. read more

I had a rook piercing done by a the previous piercer here and decided it was a great experience and wanted to go back. I went in to get my 3rd done by Cait. It was a lobe piercing so it should have been easy. She was not talking to us about the process or answering our questions with much detail. On one of my ears, she hit cartilage while piercing. I was not warned that it was a possibility. The earring was on an angle, and because of that, the flat back caused a sore on the back of my ear. It got infected and I took it in for her to see. She told me it was fine and that was the only option. I had her take the piercing out. She said I should only worry if I got a fever (wrong! Don't wait until infections cause you a fever!). My other ear was fine but slowly began to swell. The lobe puffed up and I had to take out all my piercings. I developed a rash on and behind my ear. I think it's Cellulitis and I've been on antibiotics for a week. She also said that that piercing was fine. read more

I just went here to get 2 piercings in my cartilage. It's a really clean place, and the staff is so open to answering questions about how they clean and sterilize everything. Trevor did an amazing job! He worked really hard to get them exactly where I wanted and was so good and keeping the environment calm and relaxed. I've previously gotten other piercings with a gun because I thought it'd be less scary but I had a much better experience at all star, and the pain is way less than a gun. I will absolutely return for more piercings! read more

As a first timer, had expected a bit more prep information about the tools they use, cleaning procedures to avoid transmission risks, etc. My wife is a doctor so she was a bit paranoid about cleaning procedures as she has seen cases of STDs being so passed via tat. However, everyone was super-friendly, and the artist was spot on in the design and font. He gave several suggestions that helped with the longevity and appearance of the tattoo. I would return, but wanted to share this in case it helps them continue to improve their brand for first timers, and those in the medical profession. read more

The person did our ear piercing is super friendly and comforting. Our first time and pretty nervous. Clean. Sanitize well.

I initially had a bad experience here during a piercing consultation. I did not feel comfortable with the piercing expert and he did not feel comfortable piecing me. I was passed on to Casey behind the scenes and I loved her. She was very patient and explained what was to come along with healing. I returned yesterday for a second piercing and was assigned to Zach Powell. He is fantastic!!! Patient, knowledgeable, kind and provided the right amount of humor to make me feel comfortable. I would return for both of them. read more

What can I say....Trevor was awesome. I went in for a nose piercing and decided to get that and my tongue pierced. He was very nice, informative, showed concern for my issues and put me at ease. The process was really quick and I only felt a quick pinch both times. He covered everything with me during the process and on piercing care and the healing time. Even after all of that I forgot and I was able to call with questions about piercing care and they were friendly and very responsive. I would definitely recommend all star tattoo. read more

Went there to get my nose pierced, I walked in was pleasantly greeted. I was able to meet the piercer and talk about different sizes and material of studs. I chose the titanium which is $60. The process was really quick, my piercer I wish I knew his name adjusted all the comments regarding placement of the stud which I loved. The pain in a scale of 1-10 would probably be a hard 4, it was quick and almost near painless. After the initial piercing I was given a daily care sheet I was also told to get saline spray. I will be returning to get my Tragus pierced here. Great experience and price is great. !!! read more

While doing research on where I wanted to get tattooed I called up some places with good reputations. However I was met with rude and impatient people on the phone. When I called All Star Draven answered the phone and gave excellent service and was very welcoming. When I was there Chris gave me my tattoo and did an awesome job. I also have a very low pain threshold and Chris has amazing and made it as painless as possible. I can't wait to go back and get more work done there. read more

I was wanting a unique memorial tattoo in memory of my husband. AJ at All Star did a wonderful job! It was my second one so I was nervous but he put me at ease. He pulled my thoughts together and tweaked them to give me a beautiful tattoo that I am very proud to show! He was thoughtful and kind and has a good eye for making sure it looked right. Great experience! Thank you! read more

My piercer was EXTREMELY kind, and we loved him!! I got a simple nose stud, and it was about 77$ with a 15% tip.

Dra was great with my piercing. Made me comfortable and was super friendly. My piercing is slightly crooked but not super noticeable unless analyzed closely. But I'll say I waited hours for a tattoo and then was quoted a ridiculously high price for a minimalist tattoo. I will stick to my normal guy for tattoos, but piercings I would return. read more

Had such a great experience here. Three of us came in to get piercings, we were able to get in almost right away. Four lobes and a cartilage piercing all done very well. Trevor was super helpful and knowledgeable in what he was doing and made the process as painless and easy as possible. Could not recommend this place more, worth the drive to St. Louis. Would add photo but the piercings are too new and don't want the review flagged. read more

I was ready for my second tattoo and had found, roughly, the Phoenix design I wanted. I pulled a version of it off the Internet, printed it out and wandered over to Iron Age on the Loop. The guy at the counter was all set to slap this thing on me as is and even wanted me to go find a better print out that didn't have some of the lines trailing off the page. I asked him why he couldn't just clean that up when he re-drew it and also indicated I thought the design itself could use some improvement. He said, no way. I left disappointed and annoyed -- the guy effectively killed my enthusiasm. I drove to All-Star -- the difference was night and day. I was greeted at the counter by someone who was a) smiling and b) didn't treat me like a moron. He set me up with Ed, who was amazing throughout the entire process! Ed took the time to talk to me about how I wanted the design to fit (wrapping around my right hip). He traced the outline of my hip with tracing paper so he could re-draw the Phoenix so the angles looked good on me, and he improved the design itself, made it more fluid to pair better with my pre-existing tattoo. I left our consult elated and couldn't wait for appt. day. Ed executed what I wanted better than I could have imagined. The three and a half hours flew by (or as much as they can when someone's got a needle to your flesh), and the end result has amazing movement! I couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ed and All-Star to anyone looking for a positive experience. read more

My first tattoo experience was a really good one. Whew! After hearing many friends tell stories of tattoo artists (in general) who tend to be cocky and jerky and ruining their first experience at getting a tattoo, I tried to do my research first. I didn't want to feel like a piece of cattle, walking in- getting inked and shoved back out the door. I'm very glad I picked All Star because I experienced NONE of that. I wouldn't say I bonded with anyone there- but the girl behind the counter was friendly and didn't give any bad vibes. I came in an entire month in advance with some ideas- and Rob ended up helping me out. I explained everything I wanted and set my appointment a month later (I doubt that he was booked that far in advance, I just wanted it the next month). I paid the $20 deposit for an appointment and left him with my ideas & printouts for him to sketch up. I came back one week prior to my appt with some more artwork to further tweak the design and he seemed cool with it. When I went to my appointment, I was worried I might not like what he'd sketched - but I loved it. Everything else went smoothly. He didn't seem to mind I had 4 friends staring down at him working, and he promised to let us know if it bothered him. He was rather quiet during the 2 hours, but still seemed concerned with my comfort level. He seemed like a really nice guy. So yay! Good experience and a gorgeous tattoo! I've joined the club now ;) read more
