I have been going to Hollywood Hair for a long time. My stylist, Brandi, asks then listens to what I want and what I will be able to manage on my own and then she discusses her own insights with me. I never leave feeling as if she didn't listen and achieve my goals. She is also fun and happy and you have a good time there! Horrible Experience! My daughter had her hair done for prom and within the hour it was a complete MESS! We had to get another hairdresser to redo her hair on prom day! I called to get my money back (which I spend 200.00 total on 2 girls hair and makeup) the owner stated she does not give money back. They will only fix the problem. I sent her a picture and she even agreed it was aweful. Again within an hour of leaving her salon. We had photos with a photographer right after and could not bring her back in for a fix so I basically just lost my money!!! I left two pictures one of the mess they did and the second of our redo Fix for the evening! read more

Was visiting here for an event. Made apt for a pedicure/ manicure. Arrived & didn't wait long to get started. I think this might be the worst I've ever had- as well as the most expensive. The pedicure was mediocre. They didn't even trim my cuticles The 1st polish I chose was so old that it had lumps so I was asked to choose a 2nd choice. Ok on to nails. Again, my cuticles weren't trimmed. I could have done this manicure at home in a few minutes & it would have looked as good. My nails are short this is not hard! After hours or so & almost $ 60.00 I left- knowing Ill never return to this place. I should have asked more questions or looked for reviews. Shame on me. read more

Last color and cut with Ally Deering at Hollywood Hair in Centralia, IL. I cannot stress enough, I have paid triple the amount in downtown Nashville, Vegas, ect. Have not been near as Happy. The salon is gorgeous. The stylists are professional, highly educated, and very willing to work together to enhance your experience. Sonya runs a beautiful place with a happy staff. You can feel the good vibes. I am so impressed by this location that I have purposely waited to comment so I would have less competition for scheduling. Lol. Just kidding, but not really. Lol. Upon multiple schedule changes at work, Ally was willing to work with me thru messenger to get me scheduled. I always felt welcome. They jump in and help each other. It's not just a salon. It's an"experience". Ally does amazing lashes. Diamond has been awesome. I just can't say enough. AND..... You can have aesthetic treatments thru the salon via a professionally educated Abby Smith. I would trust her with my face. My face! That's serious ya all. This is a one stop, hair, make up, relaxation, lashes, nails, massage....I could go on. The atmosphere is fantastic. Don't take my word for it. Go. Tell me what you think. I will miss these girls. As I find a new stylist in Florida, I want Ally to know.....I may need a standing appointment for color correction. My review is on Massage! I am traveling and away from my usual master massage therapist. I called and asked if they could do deep tissue massage. I don't go for the relaxation... I go because of muscle spasms, knots and pain due to overworking. Had trouble finding the place with Yelp directions though. They have a spa next door where I spent a much needed hour getting a massage from Claire. She was able to work out the knots, even in my hands. I am appreciative that there is a place I can go if I get all bunched up again! Thanks again Claire! read more

Greatest place ever! Alexis is so helpful, and always has great ideas for my hair. She did my hair for my wedding, including custom coloring extensions for me so my hair would be more full. They also squeezed me in last minute for a bridal makeup appointment because the person who was gong to do my makeup was not able. She did exactly what I wanted and it stayed in place and looked amazing all day and evening. read more
