Normally I would have difficulty finding ways to distinguish one cleaners from another, but…read moreLakemoor Cleaners really made it easy for me. I needed to get a bunch of shirts and pants pressed and figured I would go to the closest place to me, and, living in Volo, this was it. I am glad I decided to go here. Above all, the employee that helped me was what made it great! Helpful and friendly made for the perfect combination. She noticed i was not in the system and asked if I had recently moved to the area. when I said I had, she welcomed me to the area and commented on what a nice area it is. She was also very accurate in making sure she knew what I needed with each article of clothing. When my wife picked up the clothes, she also said how nice they were. Now, I realize many people will say, who cares, how were the clothes? I can happily report that they all came out great. I asked for lightly starched, and they were. Creases were all correct. Fold were correct. My shirts actually looked newer than when I dropped them off! As far as prices, I had 3 pants pressed and 10 shirts pressed for a total of $31.00, which as far as I can remember seems about average. This is definitely my new permanent cleaners and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

I have been going to this cleaners for over a year, and I have always tolerated their mediocre…read moreservice and average quality because of its convenient location. This last time I picked up my shirts and mended pants, I looked at the stitching on the pants and my middle-school daughter could have done better. I asked them to repair it which they did while I waited 25 minutes in the shop. When I got home, I noticed one of the shirts was perforated with burned holes both in the front and back. The shirt is only about 4 months old and made of heavy material, but some of the holes were nearly half an inch in diameter. When I took it in the next morning, I was told that my shirt was old and that I must have pulled it apart and there was no way they were responsible. I asked them for my dry cleaning and they tried to give me someone else's shirts THREE times! It makes me wonder if they ever tried to give my shirts to someone else. Then once he finally gave me my clothes back, there was no discount, no apology, not even a "I'm sure you can understand..." At that point I decided I was done doing business there. In times like this I am happy to be employed. Apparently Bethesda Cleaners has too much business, as they had no time for a customer like me as they seemed unconcerned with the loss of my business.
