I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It's easily the most incompetent business I've ever dealt with. As a new customer, I made the mistake of asking them to make a simple alteration--taking in the sleeves on two dress shirts by two inches. What followed was an absolute disaster: 1. The gentleman at the front took proper measurements and pinned the shirts, assuring me they'd be ready in a couple of days. I returned two weeks later. 2. When I arrived, he admitted the shirts weren't ready because he had let the pins fall out during cleaning. He had to remeasure me, but this time he seemed confused, marking the fabric with a pencil instead of pinning it properly. I was able to pick up my dry cleaning, but he forgot my pants, requiring me to call and return again. Another two weeks passed. 3. I stopped by on a Saturday--another two weeks later--only to be told the shirts still weren't ready because "the lady has them." He asked for yet another two weeks. 4. When I finally picked up the shirts, I tried them on in front of him. They had been shortened so much they were now T-shirts. Furious, I asked for a refund, requesting only $50 as a compromise. He said he couldn't issue the refund and that I'd have to wait for his wife to call me. She didn't I had to call her of course. She then promised to have a check ready for me the next time I came in--another two weeks gone. 5. When I showed up today to pick up the check (because apparently they "can't give cash"), the guy at the front, unsurprisingly, did not have it ready. He had to call his wife while I waited. At this point, he was clearly slow-playing the situation. As my patience wore thin, he asked me to write down my address so they could mail it. Then, he had the audacity to comment on my "attitude." That was it--I told him to keep his $50 and that I would be leaving a review reflecting my experience. It took them nearly two months to turn dress shirts into T-shirts, never once apologizing or taking responsibility. And after all that, they were too cheap and full of excuses to issue a measly $50 refund. This place is a complete joke--go anywhere else. read more

They altered our cloths and they didn't fit. Very poor quality and not worth the money. They also refused to replace the clothing or reimburse the cost of replacing the garments that were destroyed. That actually was what made things even worse. I would not use them if I were you. read more

I took my clothes to Dada's Cleaners, expecting professional service, but they completely ruined them. My items came back damaged, and when I brought it up, they took no responsibility. Extremely disappointed and will never return. read more

Amazing quality and service! I bring my king sized comforter to this business monthly and they do a great job removing all dog fur and making it smell amazing. Reasonable prices and wonderful service for all of my dry cleaning as well. I'm happy with this place and highly recommend it to anyone in the Gurnee area! read more

First of all, the service was very courteous and they took my trench in right away. It was dropped off on a Tuesday morning but couldn't be ready until Thursday after 5 pm. It made me question their same day service but I didn't need it right away so it would worked out. I picked it up and it was perfect but paid $18 just for the one piece. I've never paid that much for a trench anywhere and while they do a great job, I couldn't afford to take my weekly dry cleaning but might use them in a pinch. read more

I tried this cleaner 3 times. The first time the shirt laundry price with light starch was competitive. The second time I took a jacket and was quoted $12. I said CD One Price charges $5 for the same jacket. The price was dropped to $9 instantly. I paid it since the dry cleaning had been done. The third time I took shirts, they were $3 per shirt. I asked why 33% increase and the woman behind the desk said it was because the starch price had gone up. When I said CD One Price was $1.99 per shirt with starch, the price was dropped to $2.10 instantly. I decided Dada cleaners was inconsistent and a "flaky" outfit. I love this small business! I have brought new curtains in to be hemmed as well as pants. Every experience has been great and the quality of work outstanding. I do not have my clothes laundered regularly, maybe one item per month, everything has been completed by the time promised and I have never had any complaints. I would have given less if I could. My wife dropped off a pair of our son's pants to get cleaned and repaired for a trip. She went back to pick them up a few days later and they were gone. When pressed to see what they were going to do and they said they would call people tonight. As luck would have it, they did give them to the wrong customer and that person returned it. After the time, worry and effort, they still charged my wife full price. She told them she didn't think it was right and she wasn't going to pay. Their reply was "it's only $9, you pay or you don't get the pants." Customer service is apparently not in their vocabulary and there is no attention to detail. There are plenty of others in Gurnee, stay away or shopper beware. read more
