They do not pass messages along, they don't communicate with the pharmacy properly, they gave me incorrect information on the phone multiple times, and worst of all they rush you out of the office after talking for just a couple of minutes. The doctor kept interrupting me, stating outright that they had to leave after just a couple minutes. It is clear that we are just cash to them. They want you in and out in 30 seconds. They were incredibly insensitive and will charge a fortune for nothing. I am going to tell my primary care doctor not to refer any of her patients to them again.

He needed me to come with him today to his appointment just in case I'd have to drive him home. Here's the thing, I'm on crutches. I needed to use the restroom so bad so I called and explained the situation and that I couldn't make it to the second floor bathroom, and this wonderful woman came and helped me through all of the doors going in and coming out. I didn't catch her name, but she was so kind and helpful. She had dark hair that was past her shoulders, blue eyes, and such a warm smile. I appreciate these people more than anything, it's a lot harder to navigate a world on crutches, and even harder in the snow!

Heres the summary if what I was told: - Im fat (I was 22, 165 lbs) - dont eat anything I can buy at the gas station - I didnt qualify for his "study" because my HS wast "severe" enough I was not offered ANY form of treatment. Not only that, but he asked me to remove my clothes so he could examine my nether regions, to which he examined in a matter of 20 seconds, then popped off what he had said about the gas station, and to lose weight. I will never forget this quote straight from the mouth He looks me in the eyes after I pulled my pants up and squeamishly covered my body with my arms. He smirks and leans forwards, and in an almost baby voice says "Anything you can by at the gas station? Don't" This has drastically affected my confidence, the speed of my recovery to comfort, and seriously made me feel offended, naked, and disgusting. I will never recommend this office to anyone. Its unfortunate that it is one of the only options near to me.

I received a phone call from a collection agency saying I didn't pay a co-payment, when in fact I…read moredid. Not to mention this "non payment" took place in June of 2013 and I am just now hearing about this now in March of 2015!!! When I called Dr Heaphy's office to question this mistake the receptionist could not have been more rude. When I questioned why there was no phone call made right away to me regarding this issue, all she did was pass the blame and avoided my question... This receptionist kept telling me they sent notice letters to me, even after I told her I moved from Lima in 2013 at least 6 times. But that's not the point... The point is that if I didn't respond to the first, or the second, or the third letter, why wouldn't you call me to try and correct this issue? And not 2 years after the fact?! I mean, I feel like it's common sense! Then she blamed me for not leaving a forwarding address... I mean, how was I to know I would be billed for something I already paid for? It takes a lot to get me upset but she managed to do it during our 5:57 second phone call. So my advice to all new or current patients: Keep all your receipts from them for a minimum of 2 years apparently to make sure they don't double charge you... BTW- I had a couple moles removed and the stitching was sub-par. I had to go to a new dermatologist in Columbus to try and hide the new scars.

Well, he must have been having a really bad day, because he took one look at my face and in a very dismissive tone of voice he said he wouldn't do anything because there were several spots on my face that were irritated and still healing. Okay, no problem, I thought-he could just treat my acne and then treat my coloring problem. But, I was absolutely taken aback when he abruptly stopped, and again, in a very dismissive tone, he told me that he would NOT treat my coloring problem until my face was completely healed. So, in that same dismissive tone of voice he told me to call for an appointment when my face was totally healed. He then turned and just walked right out of the room! I could NOT believe what had just happened! To this day, I still do not have a clue as to why he acted that way that day. But, I guess I'll never know because I will NEVER make the mistake of seeing HIM again!
