But they make the adults that are literally only sitting on the couches purchase a shirt in order to be allowed on the floor. Then tonight, I get there at 6:30, with my son and his friend, and of course, it's another damn glow night, but now, they're not letting anyone in that doesn't have a membership until 8pm when the glow night starts.. I have a membership for my son but not his friend. So now we have to either leave or sit in the car for an hour and a half because it's members only until 8pm.. which is bullsh!t!! There literally isn't anything else in this city for little kids to do, and now they pull this stunt trying to force people to purchase the membership. Well I'm cancelling my membership tonight. Update 2 hours later, we finally got in, and they closed the cafe early, after announcing that it closes at 9:30, we go over at 9:15 just for no one to show up. For our last birthday party, the manager came and spent 20 minutes with us, making sure our visit was perfect, chatting about life and what-not, and generally making us feel less like customers and more like friends. We signed up for the membership on our last visit (Platinum, baby!), and the young lady setting us up was simply amazing. Friendly, enthusiastic, and just a wonderful person! We had a birthday party at this location last night. The GM was grossly inept and mishandled what…read morewas a serious situation which ultimately ruined the party. One of the employees touched my daughter's neck inappropriately after she was already suited up in her harness. He made comments about how he could braid her hair and also spoke to the girls about the Nirvana song Rape Me. Completely inappropriate. He was also flashing his stomach at the children. When I spoke with the manager, she moved him to another area with primarily smaller children. My daughter and her friends could not enjoy the evening and I also was worried about everyone. The GM hid in the back instead of handling the situation. She didn't check on us or take responsible actions. She told me she was going to call the cops on me for using the F word when I asked her to do her job. She also sent the host of our party in to ask us to leave when the kids finally sat down to eat. The situation was GROSSLY mishandled and off putting. When we left I had to request for her to come to the front. I told her we would not be paying due to the fact that they did not really play due to all the drama. She started shouting "you will be paying" repeatedly. Then ignored me when I asked her how to settle the matter. She was unable to produce the DMM or Owners name. I would appreciate if an HR employee would get in touch with me. I fear that something worse may happen with this mismanagement and allowing these two employees to continue at this location.
